Bruges, Belgium in HD - Time To Travel
The city of Bruges, Belgium is one of the best preserved Gothic Era cities in Europe. Located near the English Channel it became a major trading center. In the early 1500's Bruges' access to the sea was cut off when the river filled with silt. Trade moved to Antwerp and Bruges went into a kind of time capsule that wasn't opened until the middle of the 20th century when tourists discovered this

Corfu Travel Video Guide • Great Destinations
Corfu is different from the other Greek islands. Instead of dreary, rocky terrain, one can find lush flora, pine trees, lemon and olive trees. This is the place where Odysseus met Nausicaa, Queen Elizabeth built a palace and where Gerald Durrell fell in love with nature. The capital was mainly built by Frenchmen during the reign of Napoleon, this is why it suggests a Mediterranean spirit, as if we

The city counts 270.884 inhabitants, with only 62.000 people living in the historic centre, called centro storico and 30.000 more on other island in the lagoon. There are more than 100 islands in the lagoon of Venice.
The republic of Venice has been an important political and economic power in europa for about 1000 years, but lost its independence in 1897, when Napoleon set foot on the well known St. Mark's Square and forced the supreme authority to surrender.

Travel video about destination London in England.
London is an exciting and pulsating metropolis of the new millennium, a melting pot of both people and culture and a fascinating city of diverse contrasts.
The City Of London contains the Tower, an historic landmark with a remarkable history. A mighty medieval fortress with 13 towers that throughout its 900 years, has served many functions and from the Middle Ages, it was a heavily fortified prison.
After the medieval St. Paul's Cathedral was destroyed by a devastating fire in 1666, Christopher Wren was ordered to re-build it with a dome. During the 36 years of its construction, its design was frequently altered until finally a wonderful masterpiece of church architecture was created.
The Monument is the city's tallest freestanding stone column and a reminder of the Great Fire of London that destroyed 80 percent of the city. In four days, more than 13,000 buildings were destroyed and the Monument was built on the site of the bakery in which the fire began.
Since the reign of Queen Victoria, Buckingham Palace has served as London's royal residence. A garden of mulberry trees once grew on the site of today's palace and the Duke of Buckingham subsequently added a simple brick built residence. Around 60 years later, George II purchased the site for his wife and George IV eventually began to design an extensive palace complex.
The highlight of any holiday in London must be the largest Ferris wheel in the world, the London Eye. Situated on the banks of the Thames, it rises high into the sky, opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
The former centre of the largest empire in the world, London is still a city of superlatives that attracts millions of visitors each year. Exciting both day and night, London is a modern city with age old traditions and a long and colorful history.

Halifax, Nova Scotia
http://blog.myvideomedia.com
English see below

Halifax, the capital of the province of Nova Scotia forms together with Dartmouth and Bedford a coherent settlement area for well over a quarter million people. Dartmouth and Halifax are separated by the harbor and since the mid 18th century connected by a ferry.
In addition, two major toll bridges span the bay.
Since time immemorial, Halifax is a major port and thus it is not surprising that the largest military installation in Canada, the base of the Atlantic Fleet and the headquarters of the Coast Guard are settled here.
In the center of the harbor front you see the restored brick buildings and warehouses, the so-called Historic Properties. Together with the disused harbor buildings, they serve today as pubs as well as shopping malls, museums and galleries for a solvent customers. The exterior of the whole complex is true to the original. The Historic Properties are a much-visited attraction for tourists. Here one can watch the ships as well as glass blowers at work.
In the shopping arcades, the usual souvenirs are offered to the tourists. Those who seek patiently can find some rarities.
Always present is the emblem of the town, the bell tower set up at the beginning of the 19th century in front of the citadel on behalf of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. It should teach the citizens more punctuality.
The casino with an attached hotel next to the Historic Properties dominates the northern part of the harbor front.
The historic Alexander Keith Brewery, another masterfully restored part of the leisure mile dominates the southern part.
Sometimes you can see the sailing ship Bluenose II in the harbor. In the early 20th century, the original Bluenose held the international fishing trophy as the fastest North American sailing ship in its class for eighteen years. During World War II sailing ships lost their meaning; the Bluenose at first still served as a cargo ship and sank in 1946 in the West Indies. In the 60s, the Bluenose II was rebuilt to the original in Lunenburg and is now immortalized on the Canadian 10 cent coin.
Weather permitting, you can take a city tour with one of the original amphibious vehicles, the Harbour Hopper.

Travel video about destination Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is a fascinating country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua and Panama, a natural paradise between the Caribbean and the Pacific.Located at more than a thousand metres above sea level, San José, Costa Rica’s capital city, not only boasts an idyllic location in the heart of Central America’s coffee country, but also an enviable climate. The extent to which Costa Rica joins with European tradition can be seen in the Teatro Nacional. The coffee barons, to whom the glorious development of San José is owed, created taxes for the export of coffee beans and thus funded the construction of the magnificent building. In a fertile mountain valley at the foot of a volcano, is Turrialba, a town that radiates a serene calm but once was an important station on the route of the Jungle Train from San José to the Atlantic coast. The crater of the Poas Volcano is surrounded by the dense green of a rainforest and overlooks the north western Meseta Central. Although it is one of the country’s most active volcanoes, it is the most visited, as visitors can go by car almost to the edge of the crater. The Rain Forest Aerial Tram is Costa Rica’s most popular tourist attraction, a ride on an open gondola through the jungle. A journey of discovery amid a canopy of trees, hovering at treetop level through the solitude of nature. Fascinating nature, joie de vivre and colonial history are omnipresent on this land bridge between North and South America, Costa Rica is surely one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Welcome to San Diego, often called the birthplace of California.
Start your San Diego tour with a stop in Old Town, a historic park filled with buildings dating back to the 1820s. If you want something a little livelier, go a few miles south to check out the Gaslamp District, full of Victorian-era architecture and a thriving bar and club scene. Bringing the kids with you, or looking for a more sedate afternoon? Stop by the San Diego Zoo and spend some time with the many animals taking up residence there – including some of the few pandas outside of China.
Explore San Diego’s ties to the sea by touring the U.S.S. Midway, Navy Pier, and Maritime Museum. From there, it’s just a skip across the bay to Coronado, where you can lay out in the sun and soak up some rays in a quiet beach town.
Round out your day with a trip to “the jewel,” better known as La Jolla, and indulge in some of the best seafood and Mexican food you’ll find anywhere. Don’t forget to say “Hi” to the sea lions.

Travel video about destination Madrid in Spain.
Madrid is Europe's most elevated metropolis, a royal capital of history, outstanding buildings and cultural treasures.
Most of Spain's royal palaces are in Madrid, the capital of Spain since the 17th century. Including the Royal Palace, that even today serves as a royal castle. The colossal building of grey granite and limestone owes its impressive appearance to its length of 500 metres and strategic elevated location.
On the southern side of the castle is Madrid's most recent cathedral, Almudena Cathedral. It boasts a combination of styles between New Gothic and Classical and was 200 years in construction.
Madrid also has a boulevard that has transformed it into a major metropolis, the Gran Via, that compares in both flair and dimensions with the exquisite streets of Paris and New York, with splendid noble buildings along with the contemporary.
What the Gran Via a hundred years ago, the Paseo De La Castellana achieved comparable renown at the end of the last millennium, a replica of Manhattan, the Zona Azca. A modern city district with spectacular skyscrapers and spacious streets where chrome, glass and concrete dominate the futuristic skyline.
The royal splendor of former times has managed to successfully combine with the contemporary and today, Madrid is no less flamboyant, a city of historic joie de vivre!

Travel video about destination Argentina.
Argentina is the second largest country in South America and a captivating land of tango, adventure and breathtaking nature.Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and the most European city in South America with buildings that are reminiscent of bygone times. The mighty Plaza De Mayo is the historic heart of the city, along with the presidential palace, the Casa Rosada and the Catedral Metropolitana. Today the tango is performed in each corner of the city and in the nineteenth century poor immigrants from Italy and Spain settled in Buenos Aires. This explains the fiery temperament and deep melancholy that is expressed by the dances and is evident with each flick of the leg. In what was once the red light district with its whore houses of colourful corrugated iron taken from numerous ship wrecks, the tango was born. We visit an estanzia, a feudal residence of the beef barons who once settled on the endless plains of the pampas and who built their farmhouses according to the rustic designs of the nobility. From Salta Station we begin a fascinating train journey on the Tren A Las Nubes, the “train into the clouds",.which will climb to more than three thousand metres above sea level along one of the highest railroads in the world. The Los Glaciares National Park is a mixture of lakes, glaciers, mountains and untouched wilderness yet despite the harsh climate the local vegetation captivates due to its diversity. Our journey comes to an end. From north to south, through cities and pampas to glaciers and mountains, Argentina is a dream destination come true!

Travel video about destination Morocco.
Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, has the most important harbour in North Africa and is gateway to the magic of the Orient. In the Koran it says: ‘And Allah’s Throne Was On The Water !’ Thus inspired, the Grand Mosque was built on Casablanca’s shoreline. This monumental building was designed to accommodate 105,000 believers and its tall minaret dominates the city’s skyline. More than twelve million people helped finance this ‘Eighth Wonder Of The World’ which involved 90 engineers and 30,000 craftsmen and artists. Lying northwards along the Atlantic coast, is Rabat, Morocco’s capital and home to its government and royal family. The King’s Palace, the Palais Royal, is a town in itself. Surrounded by walls and protected by royal guards, since 1864 it has been the main residence of the Alaouite Dynasty which has been in power since 1666. To the south of RABAT lies Chellah, City of the Dead. The Merinde necropolis has a square tower and is surrounded by a wall made of crushed loam, proof that the Cathagers built a trading centre here in the 3rd century B.C. Amongst the tombs, the sarcophagus of Sultan Abou El-Hassan stands proud with its artistic engravings. Fez El-Bali dates back to the Middle Ages and contains narrow streets, a pungent mixture of scents, the penetrating sound of craftsmen and fine examples of the Moorish art of building. Travelling through the Atlas Mountains, the small town of Ilfrane boasts tranquil parks and ponds, modern residential areas and shady avenues which take the traveller by surprise. Just as with their ancestors over the centuries, even today nomads and their camels traverse the endless Sahara. For a distance of over 40 kilometres, the magic landscape of the sand dunes compares with the largest in the world. Finally, Marrakesh, dreamy city at the foot of the High Atlas and Morocco’s most beautiful city. What better location to end the fairytale that is Morocco!

The city of Bruges, Belgium is one of the best preserved Gothic Era cities in Europe. Located near the English Channel it became a major trading center. In the early 1500's Bruges' access to the sea was cut off when the river filled with silt. Trade moved to Antwerp and Bruges went into a kind of time capsule that wasn't opened until the middle of the 20th century when tourists discovered this sleeping beauty. London is the capital city of both England and the United Kingdom. ] Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia, its history going back to its founding by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms the Greater London administrative area (coterminous with the London region), governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly.

The capital was mainly built by Frenchmen during the reign of Napoleon, this is why it suggests a Mediterranean spirit, as if we were walking on the French Riviera. Near the capital, there is the symbol of the island, the Vlacherna monastery, standing in the water. Corfu is abound in natural beauties. Kassiopi is a charming fishing village, while Paleokastritsa is a place famous of its sea caverns. And finally there is the Channel of Love in Sidari, a channel formed by whimsical cliffs
