Fola, Racing FC, SC Bettembourg,FC Wiltz 71, US Mondorf, FC Etzella, FC Young Boys Diekirch, Etoile Sportive Schouweiler, FC Noertzange, US Esch, A.S Colmar Berg, FC Progrès Niederkorn, FC Résidence Walferdange, FC Avenir Beggen, FC Kiischpelt Wilwerwiltz , Sporting Club Steinfort, FC Mamer 32, FC Minerva Lintgen, FC Jeuness Junglinster, FC Schifflingen 95, FC Munsbach, FC AS Hosingen, FC Sporting Bertrange, CS Sanem, FC Ehlerange, FC UNA Strassen, FC Titus Lamadelaine, Red Boys Aspelt, US Rumelange, FC Olympia Christnach, FC Green Boys 77 Harlange-Tarchamps, FC Orania Vianden, FC 47 Bastendorf, Syra Mensdorf , FC Jeunesse Canach.

The United Nations′ Sustainable Development Goals are set for the next 15 years.
Development experts gathered in Seoul to discuss inclusive partnerships as an effective approach to achieving these goals.
Our Oh Soo-young reports. Development officials and experts from around the world are in Seoul to discuss how to ensure economic growth and oppoturnity for all sectors of society.
They are focused on mapping out the future of official development assistance or ODA... which are annual contributions of grants, loans and other foreign aid from donor governments to developing countries.
But here at the ODA International Conference, experts say government efforts alone aren′t enough.
″In nearly every issue, you need to bring in government, business, civil society and a huge number of other factors. The government cannot solve these problems on their own.″
The two-day conference kicked off Tuesday, with more than 600 participants discussing the main topic of an ″Inclusive Partnership in the Post-2015 Framework.″
″It is a good opportunity for us and students and private sector together to examine what are our homeworks, what challenges we have.″
This concept of ″inclusive partnership″ is in line with the United Nations′ sustainable development goals for the next 15 years.
It promotes meaningful participation and cooperation among relevant stakeholders including private, public and civil sectors.
″It′s the only way to achieve the much more ambitious set of global goals dealing with a wider shared prosperity so that we develop our countries in a way that is environmentally sustainable, which allows voices from all perspectives to be heard and listened to.″
With these discussions, the conference aims to help government leaders and international organizations come up with ways to put inclusive partnership intiatives into actual practice.

FarFetched Facts A Parable of Development Aid Inside Technology

In 1996, the sub-Saharan African country of Ruritania launched a massive waterworks improvement project, funded by the Normesian Development Bank, headquartered in Urbania, Normland, and with the guidance of Shilling & Partner, a consulting firm in Mercatoria, Normland. Far-Fetched Facts tells the story of this project, as narrated by anthropologists Edward B. Drotlevski and Samuel A. Martonosi. Their account of the Ruritanian waterworks project views the problems of development from a new perspective, focusing on technologies of inscription in the interactions of development bank, international experts, and local managers. This development project is fictionalized, of course, although based closely on author Richard Rottenburg's experiences working on and observing different development projects in the 1990s. Rottenburg uses the case of the Ruritanian waterworks project to examine issues of standardization, database building, documentation, calculation, and territory mapping. The techniques and technologies of the representational practices of documentation are crucial, Rottenburg argues, both to day-to-day management of the project and to the demonstration of the project's legitimacy. Five decades of development aid (or "development cooperation," as it is now sometimes known) have yielded disappointing results. Rottenburg looks in particular at the role of the development consultant (often called upon to act as mediator between the other actors) and at the interstitial spaces where developmental cooperation actually occurs. He argues that both critics and practitioners of development often misconstrue the grounds of cooperation -- which, he claims, are moral, legal, and political rather than techno-scientific or epistemological.

A twentieth-century innovation, foreign aid has become a familiar and even expected element in international relations. But scholars and government officials continue to debate why countries provide it: some claim that it is primarily a tool of diplomacy, some argue that it is largely intended to support development in poor countries, and still others point out its myriad newer uses. Carol Lancaster effectively puts this dispute to rest here by providing the most comprehensive answer yet to the question of why governments give foreign aid. She argues that because of domestic politics in aid-giving countries, it has always been—and will continue to be—used to achieve a mixture of different goals. Drawing on her expertise in both comparative politics and international relations and on her experience as a former public official, Lancaster provides five in-depth case studies—the United States, Japan, France, Germany, and Denmark—that demonstrate how domestic politics and international pressures combine to shape how and why donor governments give aid. In doing so, she explores the impact on foreign aid of political institutions, interest groups, and the ways governments organize their giving. Her findings provide essential insight for scholars of international relations and comparative politics, as well as anyone involved with foreign aid or foreign policy.

The President of the Global Health Program is Trevor Mundel. The Gates Foundation has quickly become a major influence upon global health; the approximately US$800 million that the foundation gives every year for global health approaches the annual budget of the United Nations World Health Organization (193 nations), and is comparable to the funds given to fight infectious disease by the United States Agency for International Development.[29]
The Global Health Program's significant grants include:
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
Over $1.3 billion donated as of 2012.
Polio eradication
The Foundation provides 17% (US$86 million in 2006) of the world budget for the attempted eradication of polio myelitis (polio).[30]
The GAVI Alliance
The foundation gave the GAVI Alliance (formerly the "Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation") a donation of US$750 million on January 25, 2005.[31][32]
Children's Vaccine Program
The Children's Vaccine Program, run by the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), received a donation of US$27 million to help vaccinate against Japanese encephalitis on December 9, 2003.[33]
University of Washington Department of Global Health
The foundation provided approximately US$30 million for the foundation of the new Department of Global Health at the University of Washington in Seattle. The donation promoted three of the Foundation's target areas: education, Pacific Northwest and global health. The foundation also lead a study to increase access to high education globally.
HIV Research
The foundation has donated a grand total of US$287 million to various HIV/AIDS researchers. The money was split between sixteen different research teams across the world, on the condition that they share their findings with one another.[34]
Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation
The foundation gave the Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation more than US$280 million to develop and license an improved vaccine against tuberculosis for use in high burden countries.[35][36]
Cheaper high-tech TB test
In August 2012, the foundation, in partnership with PEPFAR (United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief), USAID (United States Agency for International Development), and UNITAID (an international drug purchasing facility hosted by WHO), announced they had finalized an agreement to reduce the cost of a commercial TB test (Cepheid's Xpert MTB/RIF run on the GeneXpert platform) from $16.86 to $9.98. This test can take the place of smear microscopy, a technique first developed in the 1880s by Robert Koch. Smear microscopy often does not show TB infection in persons who are also co-infected with HIV, whereas Xpert MTB/RIF can show TB in the co-infected patient. In addition, the GeneXpert system can show whether the particular TB strain is resistant to the antibiotic rifampicin, which is a widely accepted indicator of the presence of multi-drug resistant tuberculosis.[37][38]
Visceral Leishmaniasis Research
The foundation awarded the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Kuvin Center for the Study of Infectious and Tropical Diseases a US$5 million grant in 2009 for research into visceral leishmaniasis, an emerging parasitic disease in Ethiopia where it is frequently associated with HIV/AIDS, and a leading cause of adult illness and death. The project is a collaborative effort with Addis Ababa University and will gather data for analysis to identify the weak links in the transmission cycle and devise methods for control of the disease.[39]
The foundation has also given The Institute for OneWorld Health a donation of nearly US$10 million to support the organization's work on a drug for visceral leishmaniasis.
