Meet the Beatles! is the second Beatles album released in the United States. It was the first US Beatles album to be issued by Capitol Records, on 20 January 1964 in both mono and stereo formats. It topped the popular album chart on 15 February 1964 and remained at number one for eleven weeks before being replaced by The Beatles' Second Album. The cover featured Robert Freeman's portrait used in the United Kingdom for With the Beatles, with a blue tint added to the original stark black-and-white photograph.
After constantly rejecting requests by both Brian Epstein and George Martin to release Beatles records in the United States, in November 1963 EMI label head Sir Joseph Lockwood sent a deputy to Los Angeles ordering Capitol Records to commence releasing and promoting Beatles product in the United States. Despite the "first album" claim on its cover, ten days prior to its release Vee-Jay Records of Chicago beat Capitol to the punch with the release of the Beatles' American debut album Introducing... The Beatles, which had been delayed for release for various reasons since the previous summer. Perhaps as a result of the Vee-Jay release, Liberty Music Shops advertised in the New York Times of 12 January 1964 that Meet the Beatles! was available for purchase, an ad not authorised by Capitol.
The Flintstones is the first animated prime-time American television series that was broadcast from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966, on ABC. The show, produced by Hanna-Barbera, fancifully depicted the lives of a working-class Stone Age man, his family, and his next-door neighbor and best friend.
The show's continuing popularity rested heavily on its juxtaposition of modern everyday concerns in the Stone Age setting. The Flintstones was the most financially successful network animated franchise for three decades, until The Simpsons debuted. In 2013, TV Guide ranked The Flintstones the second Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time (after The Simpsons).
The show is set in the Stone Age town of Bedrock. In this fantasy version of the past, dinosaurs and other long-extinct animals co-exist with cavemen, saber-toothed cats, and woolly mammoths. Like their mid-twentieth century counterparts, these cavemen listen to records, live in split-level homes, and eat out at restaurants, yet their technology is made entirely from pre-industrial materials and largely powered through the use of animals. For example, the cars are made out of stone, wood and animal skins, and powered by the passengers' feet.
An unidentified flying object, or UFO, in its most general definition, is any apparent anomaly in the sky that is not identifiable as a known object or phenomenon. Culturally, UFOs are associated with claims of visitation by extraterrestrial life or government-related conspiracy theories, and have become popular subjects in fiction. While UFOs are often later identified, sometimes identification may not be possible owing to the usually low quality of evidence related to UFO sightings (generally anecdotal evidence and eyewitness accounts).
Stories of fantastical celestial apparitions have been told since antiquity, but the term "UFO" (or "UFOB") was officially created in 1953 by the United States Air Force (USAF) to serve as a catch-all for all such reports. In its initial definition, the USAF stated that a "UFOB" was "any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features, does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be positively identified as a familiar object." Accordingly, the term was initially restricted to that fraction of cases which remained unidentified after investigation, as the USAF was interested in potential national security reasons and/or "technical aspects" (see Air Force Regulation 200-2).
Columbia Pictures had an 8mm home movie division during the 1960s and 1970s. They only released silent films during the 60s, but when Super 8 sound projectors came out in the early 70s, they started putting out their previously-released silent films with sound. This was the first of a series of Flintstones films - they originally subtitled this release and put this out as a test with sound in 1973. They merely grabbed the print they used to make the silent editions with subtitles and re-issued it with the soundtrack still intact, but no subtitles. Subsequent sound releases were much better edited, but this one in its sound version is a total mess.

We don't really know much about her
We don't really know her name
But the way she was treated
Was a shame
She heard the angry voices
There was nothing
That she could say
It wouldn't have mattered anyway
All she saw were the stones
All she saw were the stones
She felt so helpless
So all alone
How she longed
For the face of a friend
But oh
All she saw were the stones
They pulled her from her lover's arms
Out into the street
They drug her to the synagogue
And threw her at Christ's feet
This woman is an adulteress
And our law is very clear
The Master saw her looking down
Her eyes were filled with tears
'Cause all she saw were the stones
All she saw were the stones
She felt so helpless
So all alone
How she longed
For the face of a friend
But oh
All she saw were the stones
Jesus looked up from the crowd
And then He said to them
You be the first to cast a stone
If you have never sinned
One by one they walked away
They left the stones behind
I wish, I could have seen her face
When she opened up her eyes
'Cause all she saw were the stones
All she saw were the stones
Jesus said, ?I forgive you, go and sin no more?
She knew she'd never be the same
Oh no, all she saw were the stones
All she saw were the stones
Jesus said, ?I forgive you, go and sin no more?
She knew she'd never be the same
