The Ramgarhia are a Punjabi community in the Punjab region of northwestern India. They are named after Jassa Singh Ramgarhia who was the leader of the Ramgarhia Misl.
Generally, Sikh carpenters use Ramgarhia as a surname whereas Hindu carpenters use Dhiman.
