Two hours north of Sydney is Australia's premier vineyard region, the Hunter Valley. On a cold winter morning in May 2015 I had the opportunity to photograph the balloons preparing and taking off for a misty sunrise flight. Photo: Dyan Hallworth -
The fisherman's daughter. As we wandered through a fishing village off the coast of Nha Trang,Vietnam, she was standing under a tree.I couldn't help but think how different her life must be compared to our teenagers life back home.March 2014. Photo: Joanne Rovere -
Whilst travelling to the Sunshine Coast we came across this boat house on the Maroochy River that had recently been hit by a falling branch during a storm. The skew angle of the walkway adds a nice touch to the photograph. Photo: Dyan Hallworth -

10th of June I experienced a Thailand tour with the Philippine domestic rugby league team. This was definitely the highlight of the trip, and well worth the challenging 20 minute walk. The journey of phi phi viewpoint isn't difficult the path is is well paved most of the way. Once arrived at the top you will be welcomed with cold drinks, ice cream and snacks on sale. The view is amazing overlooking Phi Phi Leh, Tonsai Village and Loh Dalum bays. from here you will appreciate the phi phi islands beauty. 10am is the best time to grab a photo as the sun is behind you and brings out the colour of the sea. Walking on water Koh Samui Thailand I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to catch one of the locals flyboarding at the beach where we staying for holidays in Thailand. The flyboard is a water propelled jet pack attached to your feet which gives you the ability to dive in and leap out of the water. A jetski is connected to a 10meter hose that pumps high pressure water through your feet and can make you fly as high as thirty feet. I wanted to try this but as I saw all the tourists having a go and doing more duck diving than flying and then the local guy (pictured in the photo) who was amazing I decided to watch looking is for free. Watching the clouds roll over the mountains as the sun rose in Zell am See, spreading colour across the sky and the surface of the lake, will forever remain a special memory. Nature provided just enough time to witness and capture this spectacular scene before it unleashed an incredible thunderstorm, forcing me to run to shelter. I was thrilled to have experienced such an incredible morning, and all before the rest of the town had even woke up. Photo: James Vodicka -

Who said Mexican food spicy! Sitting on the beach at the awesome La Palapa in Puerto Vallarta devouring tropical pancakes and of course a cup of tea is the perfect start to the day. Photo: Andrew Sleight -

Tourists enjoy a sunny day at the National Monument of Scotland, Calton Hill, Edinburgh. The monument, which was started in 1826, was modelled on the Parthenon in Athens as a memorial to the Scottish soldiers and sailors who lost there lives during the Napoleonic Wars. However, by 1829 construction of the monument ceased due a lack of funds and has never been finished. For this reason the monument is often referred to as "Scotland's Disgrace". Photo: Patrick Neve -
What was meant to be an easy detour off the motorway to the small Italian town of Santa Maddalena in South Tyrol, Italy, turned out to be so much more. Sometimes it takes a bit of bush bashing, back-road driving and a few U-turns to find the best spots. Photo: James Vodicka -
A semi abandoned house in Mrauk U, typical of much of Myanmar, with its faded grandeur, and in this case incongruous satellite dish. The two goats headbutting each other in the entrance was a wonderful touch. Unfortunately for the photo, one of them was black! Photo: Adrian Felton -

It is in Qom that I saw women dress in the most conservative manner and I wasn't surprised since this city is considered holy by Shi`a branch of Islam. The shrine with the golden dome is the shrine of Fatema Mæ'sume, sister of Imam `Ali ibn Musa Rida (Persian Imam Reza, 789–816 AD) I found the blue tiles adorning mosques, shrines and portals astounding in their complexity of design and beauteous colours. Persian rugs made out of glazed tiles!Of course that comment excludes the intricate and graceful Koranic calligraphy that is also present in such places. Although Iranians do not mind being photographed, I was somewhat reticent taking many photos in this, their holly place. Photo: Klaudio Dadich -

Probably the first mosque I have ever visited and what an amazing experience it was. As I finished shooting inside the mosque and was on my way out when I got this lovely frame with two ladies in the foreground walking away from me with fellow photographers clicking away in the background. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque's in Abu Dhabi is said to "unite the world" by using artisans and materials from many countries, 3,000 workers and 38 renowned contracting companies took part in the construction of the mosque. The Nipponbashi Street Festa is held in Osaka, Japan each Spring and is one of the largest Cosplay festivals in Japan. The streets of Den Den Town are closed off to traffic and taken over by thousands of cosplay/anime fans dressed in all kinds of costumes. Seeing this festival in March 2014 was so much fun as the participants are more than happy to have their photos taken and are very good at striking a pose for the camera. Photo: Mike Clements -
As a driver for Premier Stateliner, my job every day is to take people, both locals and tourists, to Victor Harbor and Goolwa. I managed to get this shot of Hindmarsh Bridge from Goolwa Wharf on my break one Sunday just before the advancing families made the wharf boards vibrate! Photo: Sally Burgess -

Captured on 35mm film, this image was taken in Budapest on my 21st birthday last December. My group of friends and I spent the afternoon at the Szechenyi Baths. The combination of the cold winter temperature and early setting of the sun created a very picturesque and relaxing setting to celebrate my birthday. Photo: Lachlan Waterhouse -
I thought going on safari was going to be like going to the zoo. Instead, our safari in the Serengeti was so much more incredible. This was taken at sunset of our other safari truck - that day, we had seen lions mating, cheetah on a tree with a snack from the morning's kill, amongst giraffes, vultures and hippos! Amazing experience walking through the bustling crowds in Muslim St, Xian, China. These candy makers were pounding candy, perfectly timing their blows. Photo: Monique Whear -

I had packed up my camera gear after taking photos of a stunning sunset in Far North Queensland. Luckily, as I was walking away from the pier, the reflection of the dying sunset in the window of this old church caught my eye. Photo: Jonathan Armstrong -
