Night diving is a Underwater diving done during the hours of darkness. It frequently refers specifically to recreational diving which takes place in darkness. The diver can experience a different underwater environment at night, because many marine animals are nocturnal.
There are additional hazards when diving in darkness, such as torch or flashlight failure. This can result in losing vertical visual references and being unable to control depth or buoyancy, being unable to read instruments such as dive computers and diving cylinder contents gauges, and potential separation from the rest of the diving group, boat, or shore cover. Even with a functioning torch, these hazards are still present in night diving. Backup lights are recommended.
Normal requirements for night diving are a dive light, and adequate protection from exposure. Some precautions and skills for night diving include: avoiding shining your light in other divers' eyes, to be aware of and use surface light signals for bearings, or similarly use an illuminated shotline buoy. A surface marker buoy with an attached strobe light or cyalume stick can be used to indicate the position of the divers to the surface team. The use of a strobe light by a diver under water can damage the night vision of other divers.
Circling further off on the loop road today once again Every night, loneliness sets forth Night diver A phantom that wanders the streets through the night I go
White lines broken Pretend I can't see the future My heart drowned in the grief that fell And piled up in the winter era
My right hand, tracing the ends of the heart line, wallowing in my feelings Flickering emotions Rise up again as they come back down I go
Red lights, beautiful Lights that reflect on the water surface mesmerizes me The Ferris wheel like fireworks Coloring the imposters, circling the skies
You can run until the far off skies turn white It won't disappear, it won't disappear you know You can step on it until the scenery melts in the wind It won't disappear, it won't disappear you know
Dodging the reef An excursion, following the trails I go Emotions dash to and fro Rise up as they come back down I go
Red lights, beautiful Lights that reflect on the water surface mesmerizes me
Breathe in deeply to the faintest of hopes My heart drowned in the deep sea
