War Thunder - The Empire of Japan is Mighty!
War Thunder is a free-to-play, cross-platform MMO combat game for Windows, Linux, Mac and PlayStation®4 dedicated to military vehicles used in and around World War II and the Korean War. In War Thunder, you can take part in major battles on land, in the air, and at sea, fighting with real players from all over the world in a continuously developing environment.
War Thunder already offers a highly detailed experience in military aviation and ground forces combat, giving players access to a Guinness World Record breaking number of aircraft, as well as an abundance of tanks and other combat vehicles - and the number is constantly rising.
You can feel the unmatched intensity of aerial dogfights in a fighter, the decisive power of commanding a heavy strategic bomber or the heat of battle in a ground attacker, delivering precision strikes against your enemies. Alternatively, you can join the spearhead of armoured vehicles, fighting for dominance over the battlefield on the ground: Man a heavy tank with impressive armour and firepower, use the maneuverability of a medium or light tank to your advantage, or support your team by screening the skies with your anti aircraft vehicle - the choice is yours!
In the future, the game will also allow players to ‘set sail’ by commanding a variety of warships in the fight over the control of the world’s oceans, giving the game a truly epic scale.
Master your vehicles through both upgrades and personal experience in an environment that is constantly expanding and rewarding the personal skill of the player. Organise your efforts in one of the countless player squadrons and become an ace pilot or tanker - or both! Our thriving and welcoming community of millions of players is also actively participating in the game’s ongoing development, offering custom content through War Thunder Live, such as skins, missions and even vehicles.
War Thunder has something for everyone. Play cooperative games with your friends on Windows PC, Linux, Mac or PlayStation 4 against AI, or squad up for a PvP battle in a difficulty setting matching your play style, ranging from Arcade to Simulator using Mouse and Keyboard, Gamepad or Joystick.

Japan blossomed into its Renaissance at approximately the same time as Europe. Unlike the West, it flourished not through conquest and exploration, but by fierce and defiant isolation. And the man at the heart of this empire was Tokugawa Ieyasu, a warlord who ruled with absolute control. This period is explored through myriad voices-- the Shogun, the Samurai, the Geisha, the poet, the peasant and the Westerner who glimpsed into this secret world.
The Way of the Samurai
Tokugawa Ieyasu unifies Japan and establishes a dynasty that will rule Japan for over 250 years.
The Will of the Shogun
The grandson of Ieyasu, Tokugawa Iemitsu, tightens control over Japan's warlords and expels all foreigners.
The Return of the Barbarians
Isolated from the West, 18th century Edo flourishes culturally and economically, becoming one of the liveliest cities in the world. But foreign forces are coming.

Take a tour of Top 10 Travel Attractions of Kyoto, Japan - part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
Hey, this is your travel host, Naomi. I would like to give you a tour of the top ten attractions of Kyoto, Japan.
Number ten, Gion District. A wonderful traditional neighborhood in the city of Kyoto, during your time here you are likely to see geishas in their traditional attire.
Number nine, Bamboo Grove. Unlike any other place you are going to see. Walking through the bamboo grove, you are in a different world, surrounded by the tall bamboo trees.
Number eight, Heian Shrine. This Shinto shrine was constructed in 1895 and commemorates Kyoto's past emperors. These days, it's a site for many local festivals.
Number seven, Kinkaku-ji. Kyoto has numerous cultural sites. Kinkaku-ji, the Buddhist temple of the golden pavilion, is among Kyoto's 17 World Cultural Heritage sites.
Number six, Kiyomizu. Another famous temple of Kyoto built all the way back in the 8th century. Locals enjoy the surrounding natural landscape that changes throughout the year.
Number five, Fushimi Inari Shrine. Walking through the striking shrine gates, you are transported into another world. Many tradespeople come here to pray for prosperity of their businesses.
Number four, local culture. In Japan, even the simple day to day things are fascinating. You'll find the local way of life is spiritual as well as one that's harmonious with nature.
Number three, Ginkaku-ji, the temple was constructed in the 15th century. Japanese architecture melds nature with buildings beautifully, and you clearly see that in this temple's gardens.
Number two, Nijo Castle. A large complex built in the early 17th century. You can take the inside tour and witness its fortress-like features, along with its emphasis on harmony with nature.
And number one, cherry blossom. Kyoto is one of the world's most beautiful cities. A perfect time to visit this city is during the cherry blossoms, when its great cultural attractions look even more stunning.
Keep watching our travel series. Ciao.

The long lost, forgotten cities of South America always were there in people’s imagination. In Peru we can dream ourselves back into the empire of the Incas, into the age of the Sun God and the ruthless conquistadors. We can travel the 1000 year old Inca trail, travel through the Sacred Valley and take a walk in the amazing ruins of Machu Picchu. We can meet kechua and uro indians, we can buy their traditional clothing and listen to their songs and music. From an airplaine, we can try to solve the secret of the Nazca lines, we can take a train to the Altiplano, we can travel through the paradise of the Paracas Paninsula on boat, we can take a look at the monuments of Lima and Cuzco, and follow Thor Heyerdahl’s path, when we sit into a boat on the Titicaca lake.

The Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居 Kōkyo?, literally, "Imperial Residence") is the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. It is a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda area of Tokyo close to Tokyo Station and contains several buildings including the main palace (宮殿 Kyūden?), the private residences of the imperial family, an archive, museum and administrative offices.
It is built on the site of the old Edo Castle. The total area including the gardens is 3.41 square kilometres (1.32 sq mi). During the height of the 1980s Japanese property bubble, the palace grounds were valued by some as more than the value of all the real estate in the state of California. EXCLUSIVE: VICE News Meets Barack Obama: http://bit.ly/1wT03Bi
The Islamic State, a hardline Sunni jihadist group that formerly had ties to al Qaeda, has conquered large swathes of Iraq and Syria. Previously known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the group has announced its intention to reestablish the caliphate and has declared its leader, the shadowy Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, as the caliph.
The lightning advances the Islamic State made across Syria and Iraq in June shocked the world. But it's not just the group's military victories that have garnered attention — it's also the pace with which its members have begun to carve out a viable state.
Flush with cash and US weapons seized during its advances in Iraq, the Islamic State's expansion shows no sign of slowing down. In the first week of August alone, Islamic State fighters have taken over new areas in northern Iraq, encroaching on Kurdish territory and sending Christians and other minorities fleeing as reports of massacres emerged.
VICE News reporter Medyan Dairieh spent three weeks embedded with the Islamic State, gaining unprecedented access to the group in Iraq and Syria as the first and only journalist to document its inner workings.

Istanbul is a fantastic heritage of the Byzantine Empire and Constantinople, and its unique quality is that it lies on two continents. Europe and Asia are separated by the picturesque Golden Horn Bay. On the quiet Asian side live the wealthy citizens, while the European part is a busy center for business life, and also the ancient city core, full of old monuments, can be found here. There is the Aia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Yedikule fortress and the Topkapi Palace. And then there is the colorful, loud and exotic Grand Bazaar, favorite target of the tourists. Let us go to the house of Pierre Loti, drink a cup of Turkish coffee and enjoy the sight of the Marble Sea and the city of the thousand minarets

Buenos Aires - Argentina Attractions, Tourism, Vacation, Museums
Things to see in Buenos Aires
Cementerio de Recoleta (Recoleta Cemetery)
Recoleta's cemetery is a veritable village of the dead, with rows and rows of towering tombs housing the remains of many of Argentina's most revered -- the most famous being the country's infamous First Lady, Maria Eva Duarte Perón, or Evita. Evita's burial site can easily be located by following the guided tour groups or by seeking out the mass of bouquets. The cemetery was founded in 1822 and also contains the tombs of writers, scientists, national heroes and former presidents, exhibiting a variety of architectural styles. Entry is free, although a map priced at a few pesos is a useful purchase. There are also usually tour guides on hand, offering inexpensive guided tours.
Opening Times: Daily 0800-1800. Free English language tours at 1100 Tues and Thurs (in fine weather only).
Admission Fees: No
Disabled Access: Yes
Unesco: No
Address: Calle Junín 1790, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Jardín Japonés (Japanese Garden)
The Jardín Japonés in Palermo Park is one of the most pleasant open spaces in Buenos Aires, and is the perfect antidote to the noise and bustle of the city. Created in 1967 as a gift from the Emperor of Japan, the garden is a tranquil park of Asiatic shrubs and trees beautifully landscaped around a small lake bubbling with huge carp. The garden is something of a hub for the city's sizeable Japanese community and the Japanese restaurant is well worth a visit for lunch.
Opening Times: Daily 1000-1800.
Admission Fees: Yes
Disabled Access: No
Unesco: No
Address: Avenida Casares 2966, near Avenida Figueroa Alcorta, Buenos Aires, Argentina
La Boca
This colourful barrio (neighbourhood) is best known for its football team, Boca Juniors, for whom the legendary Diego Maradona played. Multi-coloured, corrugated-iron houses characterise the touristic section of La Boca, with bustling Calle Caminito the main street. The simple houses were built by Italian immigrants, who decorated them with paint nicked from the local docks where they worked. Caminito and the immediate streets are continually lively, with street performers, artists and tango dancers all eager to win tourists' affections. Visitors should, however, avoid straying too far from Caminito. Catching a game at the Boca Juniors football team's stadium, La Bombonera, is certainly a passionate experience.
Admission Fees: No
Disabled Access: Yes
Unesco: No
Address: La Boca, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA)
This ultra-modern building was built to house the Costantini collection of Latin American art and is a welcome addition to Buenos Aires's cultural landscape. The museum promotes appreciation of Latin American art from the early 20th century to the present day. Many Argentine artists are represented, including Xul Solar, Benito Quinquela Martín and Antonio Berni. Brazilian and Uruguayan works are also shown and a famous self-portrait by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. This light, airy gallery also has spaces for temporary exhibits, an outdoor sculpture balcony, gift shop, library and a smart café.
Opening Times: Thurs-Mon 1200-2000, Wed 1200-2100.
Admission Fees: Yes
Disabled Access: Yes
Unesco: No

Museo Evita
Inaugurated on the 50th anniversary of Evita's death (on 26 July 2002), the Museo Evita tells the life story of Eva Perón using a moving mixture of personal artefacts, dresses, photographs and compelling audiovisual displays. Already a famous radio and theatre actress in her own right, Eva Duarte became one of the most revered and reviled figures in Argentine history when she married Colonel Juan Domingo Perón (who was elected president in 1946) and used her position to further the rights and conditions of the working class. Her life came to an abrupt end in 1952 when she died of cancer, aged 33.

The USS Missouri (BB-63) ~ Mighty Mo" or "Big Mo" is a United States Navy Iowa-class battleship and was the third ship of the U.S. Navy to be named in honor of the US state of Missouri. Missouri was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and was the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan which ended World War II.
Missouri was ordered in 1940 and commissioned in June 1944. In the Pacific Theater of World War II she fought in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa and shelled the Japanese home islands, and she fought in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. She was decommissioned in 1955 into the United States Navy reserve fleets (the "Mothball Fleet"), but reactivated and modernized in 1984 as part of the 600-ship Navy plan, and provided fire support during Operation Desert Storm in January/February 1991.
Missouri received a total of 11 battle stars for service in World War II, Korea, and the Persian Gulf, and was finally decommissioned on 31 March 1992, but remained on the Naval Vessel Register until her name was struck in January 1995. In 1998, she was donated to the USS Missouri Memorial Association and became a museum ship at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Tunisisa was established by the Phoenicians, but during its eventful history it belonged to the Roman Empire, was under Spanish, Turkish and Arab influences, and later under the French rule. Its architecture, art and culture all reflect this diversity. The ruins of the ancient metropolis of Carthage, the sand beaches of Hammamet, the old town of Tunis, the bazaars of Sousse, the mystical salt lake, the treasures of the Bardo Museum, the cave houses of Matmata, the palm trees of Tozeur, the bay and fish market of Kelibia, the Roman amphitheatre of El Djem, the blue and white houses of Sidi bou Said, the minarets, the oases of Chebika, the monumental buildings of the Ribats, the camels and the modern luxury hotels all are parts of the colorful mosaic, which is called Tunisia.
