This is the funeral motorcade for Sgt. Paul A. Buckles, of the Potter County (TX) Sheriff's Office. Who died tragically in the line of duty on May 30th 2014.

Sgt. Buckles was a valued and respected member of the Amarillo Texas and Potter County community. He was awarded numerous commendations, both by Potter County, and The City of Amarillo Police Department.
Sgt. Buckles was also my father, which is why I'm sharing this video through this page.
The songs played were written and recorded by him, and were chosen to be played at his funeral.
If you knew him, were his family in blood, or in blue; or if you are simply one who wishes to pay respect, feel free to comment below. But please be respectful.

Sgt. Buckles was born September 25, 1956 in Amarillo. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1975. He served in the US Air Force as a security police officer over silo missiles. Mr. Buckles started working for Potter County Sherriff’s Department in March of 1988. Through his tenure he clocked 2600 hours of training. He held a master jailer and peace officer license through TCOLE. Sgt. Buckles served 26 years with the Sherriff’s Department. He was a singer and a song writer.
He is preceded in death by his father, Merrill, and a brother, Steve.
He is survived by his son, Jack E. Buckles, his sisters, Cynthia Fesler and Susan Dunlap, his brothers, Daniel Buckles and wife Donna, Bill Scott and wife Debi, Chuck Scott and wife Corina, James Scott and wife Sharon, and Pat Scott and wife LaRae, his mother, Carolyn Buckles and his step-mother, Estelle Buckles, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.

The video doesn't show it clearly but there were several hundred people lining the bridge and surrounding area. The symbolism of what he was doing when he was shot really touched allot of people.

Barack Hussein Obama II (
i/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American to hold the office. In January 2005, Obama was sworn in as a U.S. Senator in the state of Illinois. He would hold this office until November 2008, when he resigned following his victory in the 2008 presidential election.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004.
Following an unsuccessful bid against the Democratic incumbent for a seat in the United States House of Representatives in 2000, Obama ran for the United States Senate in 2004. Several events brought him to national attention during the campaign, including his victory in the March 2004 Illinois Democratic primary for the Senate election and his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. He won election to the U.S. Senate in Illinois in November 2004. His presidential campaign began in February 2007, and after a close campaign in the 2008 Democratic Party presidential primaries against Hillary Rodham Clinton, he won his party's nomination. In the 2008 presidential election, he defeated Republican nominee John McCain, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months later, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate. In April 2011, he announced that he would be running for re-election in 2012.

Xi Jinping (pronounced [ɕǐ tɕînpʰǐŋ] English approx.:SHEE JIN PING; born 1 June 1953) is a high-ranking politician of the People's Republic of China. He currently serves as the top-ranked member of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of China, the country's Vice President, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission, President of the Central Party School and the 6th ranked member of the CPC Politburo Standing Committee, China's de facto top power organ.
Son of communist veteran Xi Zhongxun, Xi Jinping served mostly in Fujian province in his early career. He was later appointed party chief of the neighboring Zhejiang province, and then was appointed as Shanghai's party chief following the dismissal of Chen Liangyu. Known for his tough stance on corruption and a frank openness about political and market economy reforms, Xi's combination of positions makes him the presumptive heir to current General Secretary and President Hu Jintao and the Paramount leader of the Communist Party of China's fifth generation of leadership.

Sean O'Connell was an Irish Gaelic footballer and manager. He played for Derry in the late 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and was on the Derry side that finished runners-up to Dublin in the 1958 All-Ireland Championship - winning an Ulster Championship with the county that year, and three more in 1970, 1975 and 1976. For his performances in the 1967 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, O'Connell won a Cú Chulainn Award (the awards which ran between 1963 and 1967 were the forerunner to the modern day All Star Awards).
O'Connell played his club football for Ballerin Sarsfields. He was instrumental in helping Ballerin reach the 1976-77 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship final, where they were defeated by Austin Stacks of Kerry. He also won two Derry Championships and an Ulster Senior Club Football Championship with the club.
He is regarded as a Derry legend, and an all-time great of the game. He was in particular known for scoring exploits - he is ninth in the all-time list of top Ulster scorers in Championship football with a tally of 11-118 (11 goals and 118 points—each goal equals 3 points; 11 x 3 + 118 = 151 points, see GAA scoring rules). In the centenary year of the Gaelic Athletic Association (1984), O'Connell was named in the Football Team of the Century comprising players who never won an All-Ireland. Former Derry County Board Chairman Gerard O'Kane said of O'Connell "everyone growing up when Sean O'Connell was playing wanted to be Sean O'Connell".
