Antakya
Antakya (Arabic: انطاكيا‎, Aná¹Ä?kyÄ? from Syriac: Ü?ܢܛÜ?ܘܟÜ?Ü?‎, Aná¹iokia; Greek: Ἀντιόχεια, Antiócheia), is the seat of the Hatay Province in southern Turkey.
In ancient times, Antakya was known as Antioch, was for centuries one of the largest cities in the Roman Empire, and was an influential early center of Christianity. It has a population of about 250,000. Most of the population speaks Turkish as their native language, while a minority are native Arabic speakers. Antakya is situated in a well-watered and fertile valley.
History
Antiquity
The area of Antioch has been occupied by humans since the Calcolithic era (6th millennium BC), as revealed by archeological excavations of the mound of Tell-Açana, among others.
The Greek King of Macedonia Alexander the Great, after defeating the Persians in the Battle of Issus in 333 BC, followed the Orontes south into Syria and occupied the area. The city of Antioch was founded by the Macedonian Greeks in 300 BC, after the death of Alexander, by the Seleucid King Seleucus I Nicator. It had an important role as one of the largest cities in the Greek (Macedonian) Empire, the Roman Empire and the Greek Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium), and was a key location of the early years of Christianity, the Syriac Orthodox Church Antiochian Orthodox Church, the rise of Islam, and the Crusades.

Before Hatay's accession to the homeland of Turkey, the Hatay State was established on September 2, 1938, which lasted for 10 months. Its territory was the area that was included as the Iskenderun Sanjak in the documents of the League of Nations (Cemiyet-i Akvam). The border line between Turkey and Hatay State was abolished with the decision taken in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 16 June 1939. On July 23, 1939, the joining of the motherland was completed with the departure of the last French troops from the barracks and the hoisting of the Turkish flag at the barracks in a ceremony attended by the French troops.

Antakya (Arabic: انطاكيّة, Aná¹Ä?kye; Greek: Ἀντιόχεια, Antiohia) is the largest district and center of Hatay province in terms of population. The Asi River flows through its middle. It is one of the important holy places of Christianity.
According to historical sources, Antakya was founded around 300 BC by Seleucus Nicator, one of the commanders of Alexander the Great. According to ancient sources, Antakya was the third largest city of the Roman Empire and the fourth largest city in the world with a population of three hundred thousand. The city that his father Antiochus founded with the name 'Antiocheia' was located at the foot of the Silpius Mountain (today's Habib Neccar Mountain) and on the side of the Orontes River. A large number of Antiocheia were established in the lands that came under the rule of Acus, other than Antakya.
Before Hatay's accession to the homeland of Turkey, the Hatay State was established on September 2, 1938, which lasted for 10 months. Its territory was the area that was included as the Iskenderun Sanjak in the documents of the League of Nations (Cemiyet-i Akvam). The border line between Turkey and Hatay State was abolished with the decision taken in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 16 June 1939. On July 23, 1939, the joining of the motherland was completed with the departure of the last French troops from the barracks and the hoisting of the Turkish flag at the barracks in a ceremony attended by the French troops.

Herkese Merhaba. Ben Uğur. 08.09.1991 Samsun doğumluyum. 2018 yılında işimden ayrılarak önce Türkiye'yi gezip sonrasında ise yurt dışına çıktım. Bu süre zarfında YouTube için içerik üretmemiştim. Sokaklarda bir şeyler satarak para kazanmaya çalıştım. Bazen ise otellerde 2-3 ay çalışıp para biriktirerek gezdim. Şu an ise 2020 Kasım ayından bu yana YouTube için içerik üretiyor ve geçimimi buradan sağlıyorum. İlginç yaşamları, değişik kültürleri ve pek ayak basılmamış yerleri ziyaret etmeyi seviyorum. Antakya
Antakya (Arabic: انطاكيا‎, Aná¹Ä?kyÄ? from Syriac: Ü?ܢܛÜ?ܘܟÜ?Ü?‎, Aná¹iokia; Greek: Ἀντιόχεια, Antiócheia), is the seat of the Hatay Province in southern Turkey.
In ancient times, Antakya was known as Antioch, was for centuries one of the largest cities in the Roman Empire, and was an influential early center of Christianity. It has a population of about 250,000. Most of the population speaks Turkish as their native language, while a minority are native Arabic speakers. Antakya is situated in a well-watered and fertile valley.
History
Antiquity
The area of Antioch has been occupied by humans since the Calcolithic era (6th millennium BC), as revealed by archeological excavations of the mound of Tell-Açana, among others.
The Greek King of Macedonia Alexander the Great, after defeating the Persians in the Battle of Issus in 333 BC, followed the Orontes south into Syria and occupied the area. The city of Antioch was founded by the Macedonian Greeks in 300 BC, after the death of Alexander, by the Seleucid King Seleucus I Nicator. It had an important role as one of the largest cities in the Greek (Macedonian) Empire, the Roman Empire and the Greek Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium), and was a key location of the early years of Christianity, the Syriac Orthodox Church Antiochian Orthodox Church, the rise of Islam, and the Crusades.
