On Sunday 1st November, five members of the fascist group United Patriots Front (UPF) gained entry to the premises of 3CR Community Radio and filmed throughout the building without permission. In an effort to intimidate the station and its programmers, they then posted the video on their Facebook page.

The How To Make Trouble and Influence People 2016 Diary will be launched at the Friends Of the Earth Food Cooperative on Friday November 13th between 6 and 8pm. Along with speeches and readings the night will feature Laura MacFarlane (ninetynine) and Jimmy Rat (Glitter Rats) performing their versions of classic Australian protest songs. FOE will also have hot snacks for sale.

Beyond The Bars 2015 CD Launch

Each year during NAIDOC Week 3CR presents Beyond the Bars - prison radio shows featuring the stories, poems, songs and opinions of Aboriginal men and women in the Victorian prison system.  The 2015 Beyond the bars CD of broadcast highlights will be launched at Friends of the Earth Food Cooperative on Thursday October 29, 6.30-8.30pm.

Bruce recently gave a talk at ACMI as part of the David Bowie is exhibition and contributed several rare Bowie pieces of memorabilia to the exhibition.

New stock of these beautiful 100% cotton Kufiya's have just arrived at 3CR. Only $35 with all proceeds going towards the reconstruction effort in Gaza. They are produced at the last remaining factory making them in Hebron. We have traditional Kufiya's as well as modern colours and designs.

Artist and Earth Matters producer, Corey Green has made a recent addition to our sidewall mural. Corey has spent many an hour in deep discussion in our courtyard with 3CR's Aboriginal programmers and consulted Fire First's Robbie Thorpe on the concept and design.
