PSM, an acronym for Persatuan Sepakbola Makassar, is a football club that plays in the Indonesian Premier League.

It was once considered as one of Indonesia's strongest football clubs, having won a title in 2000 and finishing runner-up three out of the past four seasons after that.

This club is founded on 2 November 1915 as Makassar Voetbal Bond (MVB).

PSM have a loyal group of supporters. They go by the name "The Macz Man Indonesia." The Macz Man Indonesia's slogan is "Punna stangnga-stangngako, mundurukko!"

The President of the supporters group is Mr. Iriantosyah Kasim, the Prime Minister Ocha Alim Bachri, and the General Secretary is Andi Muhammad Alam. Whenever the The Macz Man Indonesia make appearances in the Mattoangin "Hell" Stadium during games of PSM Makassar, they are led by the supporter's field general, a Mr. Choklat Maczman. Under the command of Choklat Maczman, The Macz Man Indonesia sing and perform various rituals for the duration of the game.

Makassar, (Buginese-Makassarese language: ᨀᨚᨈ ᨆᨀᨔᨑ sometimes spelled Macassar, Mangkasara) is the provincial capital of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and the largest city on Sulawesi Island. From 1971 to 1999, the city was named Ujung Pandang, after a precolonial fort in the city, and the two names are often used interchangeably. The trade in spices figured prominently in the history of Sulawesi, which involved frequent struggles between rival native and foreign powers for control of the lucrative during the pre-colonial and colonial period, when spices from the region were in high demand in the West. Much of South Sulawesi's early history was written in old texts that can be traced back to the 13th and 14th centuries.

Kwon Jun (born October 12, 1987 in Pyeong-Tak), is a Korean central defender. He is currently play for PSM Makassar in Indonesian Premier League.

Kwon Jun is the first player from South Korean who makes a pro-contract with Figueirense Futebol Clube, Brazil League First Division in 26 March 2006.

Kwon Jun joined the team PSM Makassar in 20 January 2011.

Kwon Jun participated as a player on Busan-cup game and for this game also attanded Spain training as an U-19 Korean youth national football team in 2006.
