Paulo Szot ( /ˈpoʊluː ˈʃɒt/; born July 7, 1969) is a Brazilian operatic baritone singer and actor. He made his opera debut in 1997 and his international career has included performances with the Metropolitan Opera. In 2008, he made his Broadway debut as Emile De Becque in a revival of South Pacific, and for his performance in this musical he won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, the Drama Desk Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, the Theatre World Award and was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for best actor in a musical in 2012 becoming the first Brazilian to receive such honors.
Szot was born in São Paulo. He began his musical training in piano at the age of five and later added violin and classical ballet. However, at age 21, any aspirations for a career in dance were dashed by a knee injury, causing him, with encouragement from his instructor, to focus on singing instead.
I can't stop this feeling
Deep inside of me
Girl, you just don't realize
What you do to me
When you hold me
In your arms so tight
You let me know
Everything's all right, ahahah
I'm hooked on a feeling
I'm high on believing
That you're in love with me
Lips as sweet as candy
Their taste stays on my mind
Girl, you keep me thirsty
For another cup of wine
I got it bad for you girl
But I don't need a cure
I'll just stay addicted
If I can endure
All the good love
When we're all alone
Keep it up girl
Yeah, you turn me on
I'mmm, I'mmm hooked on a feeling
I'm high on believing
That you're in love with me
All the good love
When we're all alone
Keep it up girl
Yeah, you turn me on
Ahaha I'm hooked on a feeling
I'm high on believing
That you're in love with me
I'm hooked on a feeling
I'm high on believing
That you're in love with me
I say I'm hooked on a feeling
And I'm high on believing
That you're in love with me
