Galina Olegovna Voskoboeva (Russian: Галина Олеговна Воскобоева, born December 18, 1984) is a professional Russian-born Kazakhstani tennis player. She reached her career-high singles rank of World No. 42 on May 7, 2012. Her career high in doubles is 27th, set at May 14, 2012.

Galina was born in Moscow, Russia. She was introduced to tennis by her mother, a swimming coach, at age six. She attended University RUPF in Moscow, where she graduated from in 2005.

She turned pro in 2002. During her career, she has won two ITF singles titles: in Mont-de-Marsan in 2003, and Cuneo in 2006. She reached her career high in doubles on January 29, 2007. In 2008, Voskoboeva managed to qualify for the Qatar Total Open in Doha,. In the first round she defeated Eleni Daniilidou before taking a set off world number #5 Maria Sharapova before losing 4–6, 6–4, 1–6. That same year, she reached the quarter finals in Quebec City. On February 16, 2009, she reached her singles career high of no. 64 and also reached the quarter finals in Warsaw. At the 2009 US Open she lost in the first round to Caroline Wozniacki 6–4, 6–0.

Maria Yuryevna Sharapova (Russian: Мария Юрьевна Шарапова [mɐˈrʲijə ˈjurʲjɪvnə ʂɐˈrapəvə] ( listen), US: /ʃɑrəˈpoʊvə/, UK: /ʃærəˈpoʊvə/; born April 19, 1987) is a Russian professional tennis player and former world no. 1. A United States resident since 1994, Sharapova has won 26 WTA singles titles, including three Grand Slam singles titles at the 2004 Wimbledon, 2006 US Open and 2008 Australian Open. She has also won the year-end WTA Tour Championships in 2004. The Women's Tennis Association has ranked Sharapova world no. 1 in singles on four separate occasions. She became the world no. 1 for the first time on August 22, 2005, and last regained the ranking for the fourth time on May 19, 2008. As of May 28, 2012, Sharapova is ranked world no. 2. She has been in six Grand Slam finals with the final record 3–3.

Sharapova made her professional breakthrough in 2004 at age 17, when she defeated two-time defending champion and top seed Serena Williams in the 2004 Wimbledon final for her first Grand Slam singles title. She entered the top 10 of the WTA Rankings with the win. Despite not winning a major in 2005, Sharapova briefly held the no. 1 ranking, and reached three Grand Slam semifinals, losing to the eventual champion each time. She won her second major at the 2006 US Open defeating then-world no. 1 Amélie Mauresmo in the semifinals and world no. 2 Justine Henin in the final.

Casey Dellacqua (born 11 February 1985) is an Australian professional tennis player who currently resides in Perth, Western Australia. She was previously coached by former Australian player Nicole Pratt, before the two decided to part ways prior to the 2009 Australian Open. She won her first Grand Slam title in the 2011 French Open – Mixed Doubles, partnering with American Scott Lipsky.

She is of Italian descent through her father and Irish through her mother.

Dellacqua attended Woodvale Primary School from kindergarten to year 7, and then attended Woodvale Senior High School before moving to Canberra to train with the Australian Institute of Sport at the age of sixteen. Throughout her early life Dellacqua was an active member of local tennis clubs and teams.

In 2007, she won singles tournaments in 2007 Melbourne, Perth, Kalgoorlie, and The Bronx, in New York.

Dellacqua began the year by reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open and upset 15th-seeded Patty Schnyder and former champion and World No. 1 Amélie Mauresmo but eventually lost to third seed Jelena Janković. The performance meant she surpassed Alicia Molik to become the highest ranked Australian female tennis player.
