A deep low and trough extending from WA's Kimberley to SA and into western parts of NSW and QLD is producing heavy rain and thunderstorms. Cloud stretching over the NT with a low pressure trough is causing storms and areas of rain. Patchy low cloud along the coast with moist onshore winds is not producing many showers.
