A Walk Around Haunted Highgate with Della Farrant & Paul Adams

Paranormal authors Della Farrant and Paul Adams explore some of Highgate’s most haunted hotspots, on the night of Hallowe’en 2014. Their tour includes Swain's Lane, Highgate Cemetery West (and East), Pond Square, The Gatehouse and The Flask. Highgate Cemetery – and Highgate village itself – are notorious for their reputations as some of the most haunted locations in the UK today. Highgate Cemetery is specifically famous for its associations with an alleged vampire - a theory which is not entertained in this film, unlike the presence of its many ghosts. This film was made around midnight, after the Muswell Hill Geisterfest. Traffic volume was high in Highgate and even in Swains Lane itself, so please excuse the many cuts which this necessitated. Hopefully viewers can forgive these minor issues - which were beyond the production crew's control - in light of the exceptional window which this film grants for those who yearn to visit Swain's Lane after nightfall but may never get the chance. Swains Lane, as Della Farrant elucidates in 'Haunted Highgate' (2014) is notorious for apparently causing battery failure and other problems with camera equipment. Interestingly, despite both sets of cameras being tested the previous evening and running on fresh batteries, peculiar anomalies occurred on both sets of film, which have had to be edited from this documentary. Look out for an ‘extras’ film featuring these. A third anomaly is included in the film, a photograph taken by Redmond McWilliams using a Samsung ST60 Digital Camera (12MP, 4x Optical Zoom, 2.7 inch TFT Screen 28mm wide angle, 4x Optical Zoom Lens). It can be seen at approximately 26 minutes in. This image was one of approximately 8 taken in sequence, none of which showed similar light anomalies.
