Korea and Japan, so close in proximity yet so distant culturally-so much so that they must converse with each other in English that doesn't go beyond the polite "Hellos" and "How are yous." Taking advantage of the favorable exchange rate of the yen, many Japanese tourists visit Korea. "Tokyo Taxi" is a story about two souls who visit Korea to realize that people aren't that much different. A four-member Japanese rock band has a concert date in Seoul. But RYO, the lead singer, is deathly afraid of planes. To appease his bandmates, Ryo agrees to take a water taxi from Tokyo to Seoul, leaving behind his ramen noodle shop where one particular female customer comes to eat every week. Yamada, a water taxi driver, was on the verge of running away from his home when he encounters an unlikely passenger in Ryo. Yamada who lives by the motto of "The customer is king" decides to ferry Ryo to Korea. When Yamada and Ryo cross the sea and dock in Busan, they are met with great fanfare. As Ryo, a perpetual loner, and Yamada, who regrets abandoning his wife back in Japan, journey across Korea, they must rely on each other, and, in the process, discover.

This an overlooked anime favorite for the "hentai" (perverted) "otaku" fan. It deals with two Holy Virgins, Parfait and Cacao, who are in search for through time and space, the mysterious fourth warrior. Coming along with Parfait and Cacao is an advisor named PQ, who is a small red tomato-like creature. At a space station the two Holy Virgins meet and rescue Lemon, who joins them in escaping from her captor, Ramunes the Fourth, the supposed warrior. Each episode has the catchy opening and closing theme songs.

Lulu's daddy forces her to practice her violin when all she wants to do is play baseball with the boys. She sneaks out, but manages to get knocked unconscious when a ball hits her on the head. Suddenly, she is in dreamland - or rather, nightmare-land - when an anthropomorphic drum drags her to the Musical Court of Justice. Lulu is put on trial. The judge is a cello. The bailiff is a saxophone. The prosecutor is a clarinet. The complainant is Lulu's poor violin. The jury, ominously, is composed of no one but violins. The charge? "Desertion of her violin!" declares the prosecutor. At first, Lulu does not take the proceedings very seriously. But she soon finds that in a land of walking, talking musical instruments, mistreatment of a violin is a serious offense.

NO drum replacement was done in this mix, this is a 100% acoustically recorded and mixed track: absolutely no supplementation, layering, or triggering was done. ______________________________ This song has been on my wish-list for a cover pretty much since the first time I heard it. The only thing that always held me back, though, was the double-bass madness. It's not incredibly fast or complicated, but I absolutely never practice single-strokes on the kick, which is why I am sincerely not good at that, at all. I do some bursts and patterns using heel-toe (which is the main reason I started playing double-bass in the first place) but I never practice straight up consistent single strokes. Here's the crazy part: the BPM of this song is such that it was JUST fast enough to be out of my comfortable range when I used single strokes (I'd hold it consistently for about 5 seconds, then I would just tense up and look supremely spastic) but also JUST slow enough to my out of my comfortable range when using heel-toe. What the flip?! So I practiced it for a week or two, spending time every day trying to get my singles faster, as well as getting my doubles SLOWER.. which is a weird concept, but I had to be able to control the slower speed when playing doubles. After a lot of practicing, the heel-toe control improved before the single stroke speed did, so I opted for heel-toe.. much to the dismay of my shins. Most 16th note kick patterns you hear in this cover was played using heel-toe, except for a few quick bursts of single strokes here and there. All extended 16th note segments were done using heel-toe (after which my shins caught fire). All of that said: playing along to a hard rock track is fun beyond measure. Minimal ghost notes, just straight up power and drive. LOVE IT. Also: this is the only track in The Quadrum Series (and my first cover EVER!) where I used a different snare drum than the other songs in the series. My main snare was tuned quite high and responsive for the other tracks, but I wanted a more beefy tone for this song. The snare that I used is Neil Peart's personal Snakes & Arrows from right here at Drum Channel. I've used this snare in many places (on 8 of the 11 songs on my Ventura Lights' debut album, Way Up Here) and I absolutely love it. ______________________________

Ragga (Reggaeton) and Jungle Mix made by Db One | 1 Hour of my favourite Drum and bass & DnB reggae Raggamuffin music, usually abbreviated as ragga, is a subgenre of dancehall music or reggae, in which the instrumentation primarily consists of electronic music. Similar to hip hop, sampling often serves a prominent role in raggamuffin music. Ragga originated in Jamaica during the 1980s, at the same time that electronic dance music's popularity was increasing globally. One of the reasons for ragga's swift propagation is that it is generally easier and less expensive to produce than reggae performed on traditional musical instruments. Ragga evolved first in Jamaica, and later in Europe, North America, and Africa, eventually spreading to Japan, India, and the rest of the world. Ragga heavily influenced early jungle music, and also spawned the syncretistic bhangragga style when fused with bhangra. In the 1990s, ragga and breakcore music fused, creating a style known as raggacore. Here u are a mix of that! Comment and rate if you like it! De cine dorul se leagă 17. Cântec de nuntă 18. Foaie verde matostat Nicolae Sulac (n. 9 septembrie 1936, Sadîc, Cahul — d. 8 aprilie 2003) a fost un cântăreț de muzică populară din Republica Moldova. În cei 67 ani de viață, interpretul a cântat „Ce frumos mai cânta cucul”, „Tinerețe-tinerețe”, „Foaie verde magheran”, „Când tata va veni”, „Floarea lui Sulac”, doinele „Miorița” și „Doina de jale”, „În pădurea de la Prut” și altele. Nicolae Sulac s-a născut în data de 9 septembrie 1936 în satul Sadîc, Cahul, Regatul României (astăzi Republica Moldova). Activitatea sa artistică a început-o în cadrul Republicii Sovietice Socialiste Moldovenești, și anume în cadrul capelei corale "Doina" (din 1959). În 1965 Nicolae Sulac devine solist al ansamblului "Fluieraș", ansamblu care a lansat mulți interpreți de muzică populară din Moldova. În anii 70 și începutul anilor 80 concertează în calitate de solist al ansamblului "Lăutarii". Nicolae Sulac este laureat al premiilor Uniunii Republicilor Sovietice Socialiste (URSS), artist al poporului al R.S.S.M. și ulterior al Republicii Moldova, cavaler al Ordinului Republicii (1992). În anul 2002 a creat un fond de susținere a muzicii populare. Nicolae Sulac a interpretat piese exclusiv în limba română fiind aplaudat de fiecare dată de către toată sala, chiar și de cei ce nu cunoșteau limba română. Spre sfârșitul vieții Sulac a dorit să se stabilească cu traiul la Iași, oraș care îi plăcea mult și unde obișnuia să se înțîlnească cu prietenii. A decedat la Chișinău, în 2003, în urma unui atac cerebral și a fost înmormântat în cimitirul central de pe strada Armenească din Chișinău, Republica Moldova. La 9 octombrie 2004, în cadrul Cimitirului Central a fost inaugurat un bust al său. În 2007 a apărut pe piață albumul "La o margine de drum" a lui Nicolae Sulac.
