Keenan Alexander Allen (born April 27, 1992) is an American football wide receiver and defensive back. He currently attends the University of California, Berkeley in his sophomore year. Allen is regarded as one of the best wide receivers of his class.
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Allen attended Northern Guilford High School, where he was a standout on both sides of the ball. He was a 2009 High School All-American, selected by USA Today and Parade, and also played in U.S. Army All-American Bowl, returning one punt for 33 yards as well as one kickoff also for 33 yards. He was regarded as a five-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com.
Allen is the younger half-brother of quarterback Zach Maynard, who played at Buffalo from 2008-2009 before transferring to Cal in 2010. Maynard's biological father, Scott Lang, is Allen's stepfather.
Malcom Floyd (born September 8, 1981 in Sacramento, California) is an American football wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He was signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Wyoming. Floyd is the first half Samoan, half African-American wide receiver in the NFL.
Floyd played at River City High School in West Sacramento, California, where he was an All-Metro and Offensive MVP of the league. He was also a First-team all-league selection in basketball.
Floyd attended Wyoming from 1999-2004 while there he majored in health sciences. As a freshman, he redshirted in 1999. Floyd was a First-team all-conference selection by Football News and Sporting News as a sophomore. Floyd finished his career with 186 catches for 2,411 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was an Honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference as senior. His parents names are Alice Floyd and Malcolm Floyd.
As an NFL prospect in 2004, Floyd was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. He was signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent after the 2004 NFL Draft.
