Burberry Runway Make-Up Tutorial: How to Create the Autumn/Winter 2015 Look

Burberry introduces the bohemian-inspired Autumn/Winter 2015 make-up look, from the ‘Patchwork, Pattern and Prints’ runway show. Watch Burberry Make-Up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe and learn how to create a modern smokey eye with new and effortless Face Contour - launching September 2015 - and buildable Eye Colour Cream. The look is complemented with an easy-to-do flawless and glowing complexion, luminous nude lips with Burberry Kisses and high-gloss green nails. Eyes: Start with eyes to keep skin clean of any make-up particles. Create a slight shadow with Face Contour, follow the pen along the crease of the eye socket and gently blend. Apply Effortless Blendable Kohl in Jet Black along the top and bottom lash lines and slightly extend past the outer edge. Smudge both the upper and lower lash lines with a dry brush, ensuring you blend where the two lines connect at the outer edge.  Next, use new Eye Colour Cream in Charcoal to increase the smokey effect and create a delicate veil of colour.  Give the eyes further definition with Effortless Kohl Eyeliner in Storm Green. Apply to the waterline for a slightly darker edge that makes eyes come alive. Follow with a little Eye Colour Cream in Charcoal along the lash line to set the Kohl Eyeliner. Next, apply Eye Colour Cream in Mink across the lids for a seamless blend. To finish, apply Bold Lash Mascara in Ebony to the root of the lashes, defining the lash line and creating an intense, modern feel. Skin: Apply Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base in Golden Radiance, across the face and neck to lift the skin tone and add a sun-kissed feel. Next, sculpt the face with Face Contour. Apply under the cheekbones to help define and give the illusion of a slimmer face.  To highlight, use Burberry Sheer Concealer, applying to the middle of the forehead, Cupid's bow, chin and down the centre of the nose. Use to highlight cheekbones and eradicate any blue tones and dark circles underneath the eyes. Add a layer of super-lightweight Fresh Glow Foundation to even the skin tone. Finally, use Nude Powder to remove any unwanted shine around the nose, under the eyes and the chin.  To exaggerate contouring and add a slight flash of colour, dust Light Glow in Earthy Blush under the cheekbones. Lips: Apply Burberry Kisses in Nude Beige. A truly buildable and weightless lipstick, it creates a nude finish but still allows the natural tone of the lips to shine through.  Nails: Complete the look with Nail Polish in Cadet Green.
