In petrology and geochemistry, an incompatible element is an element that is unsuitable in size and/or charge to the cation sites of the minerals, and is defined by the partition coefficient between rock-forming minerals and melt being much smaller than 1.
During the fractional crystallization of magma and magma generation by the partial melting of the Earth's mantle and crust, elements that have difficulty in entering cation sites of the minerals are concentrated in the melt phase of magma (liquid phase).
Two groups of incompatible elements that have difficulty entering the solid phase are known by acronyms. One group includes elements having large ionic radius, such as potassium, rubidium, caesium, strontium, barium (called LILE, or large-ion lithophile elements), and the other group includes elements of large ionic valences (or high charges), such as zirconium, niobium, hafnium, rare earth elements (REE), thorium, uranium and tantalum (called HFSE, or high field strength elements).

ADINA의 mode Elements를 이용한 대변형율 해석 http://www.ablemax.co.kr/tt/board/ttboard.cgi?act=read&db;=aidna_re&page;=1&idx;=455 Surprises in Analyses with Incompatible Modes Elements The incompatible modes elements have been widely used in practical finite element analysis for many years. In ADINA, the 4-node 2D solid, 8-node 3D solid, and MITC4 shell elements allow the use of incompatible modes as an option, and in fact the incompatible modes option was made the default several years ago. While it is known that the elements can display unphysical behavior in analyses modeling very large strains, we have now found that meshes of incompatible modes elements can also contain spurious modes in rather simple nonlinear analyses. Indeed, it is only necessary that these elements be geometrically nonlin...

All of the reactions that you see are uncut and play at the original speed. This is a classic chemical reaction. It's called the iodine clock reaction. There are several variations of how this chemical reaction can be performed using different chemicals than the ones I used in the video. You can order clock reaction kits from several science related websites. You can also use simple store bought chemicals like vitamin...

Abstract The Motzfeldt Centre (1310 ± 10 Ma) is one of the major, central complexes in the Gardar Province of alkaline igneous activity. The Motzfeldt Centre is made up of multiple intrusions of syenite with a wide range of textural and compositional characteristics. The syenites were emplaced as two main igneous phases into the Proterozoic Julianehåb Granite and the unconformably overlying Gardar supracrustal rocks. The syenites of the early igneous phase occur as isolated bodies which are truncated by the syenite units of the main igneous phase, the Motzfeldt Ring Series. The bulk of the Motzfeldt Ring Series constitutes three major, steep-sided, outward dipping intrusions of predominantly peralkaline syenite and nepheline syenite which young inwards. The apparent intrusion mechanism w...
GaiaForge is a puzzle game where you need to match different elements of nature together on a spherical grid "Gaia". You can download it here: http://bit.ly/GaiaForge In each level you will get total 20 elements of nature you need to place on your Gaia. The elements will analyze their neighbors and you must forging the areas with certain logic such as Fire can't lie next to Ice or Forest. Detailed rules you will learn by playing through the 16 levels included. Features: ======== - 8 elements of nature - Spherical grid "Gaia" based on icosahedron shape - Automatic rule checking and displaying error arrows for incompatible parts of Gaia - Elements can be painted, cleared (black icon top-left) or switched around (2-piece icon top-right) - 16 prebuilt levels with level unlocking - Custom le...
FPS games aren't all the same. There's one element that divides them. One element that makes them incompatible, and can turn a good player into a horrible one.
