The Royals vs. Mets live TV and streaming online coverage continues Friday night with Game 3 of the World Series 2015 edition. Right now the Kansas City Royals are in the driver’s seat with a 2-0 advantage after winning both their home games. Now New York gets a chance to even things up or possibly take a series lead but it will need start with a home win tonight or they’ll find themselves in a must-win Game 4. The 2015 MLB World Series live televised and online stream coverage will be presented through Fox Sports.
According to Fox Sports in their Oct. 29 report, with the series shifting to New York now it means that Kansas City will not have a designated hitter in their lineup. Kansas City DH Kendrys Morales was the top batter with 106 RBIs and a .847 OPS during the regular season, so even if his stats haven’t been as hot so far in this series, his importance could begin to show starting with Game 3 at CitiField. Morales is also essential in that he’s able to switch hit between two leftie batters, but it remains to be seen if the hard-hitting Royals will be too worried in his absence.
So far the Royals have shown that they appear to be the superior team, taking both games at home. The most recent was a 7-1 stomping of the Mets in which New York was held to just two hits and Kansas City exploded for 10. Johnny Cueto pitched a great effort as he had four strikeouts and went all nine innings to hold the opposition to just two hits and a run. On the opposing side, Jacob deGrom lasted just five innings, giving up four runs over them. The Mets used a total of five pitchers in the loss. Tonight they’ll hope for a much better effort as Noah Syndergaard takes the mound at home.
The New York Mets opened as -145 favorites on the moneyline for tonight’s game with the Royals as +135 underdogs. Since then, the prices have shifted slightly with the Mets going down as low as -130 at Wynn LV where the Royals are +120 underdogs. For tonight’s over/under points total, it will be seven runs for the game. Weather is expected to be clear with a game time temperature of about 53 degrees.
