See how I made a lamp for above the dining table. I used 3 x 2,5 Watt 12 volt G4 LEDs and 4 x 5 cm RGB-strip, of which I only used the green. The power supply is above the ceiling, the steel cables are used for powering the lamp. These steel cables are being sold in a hanging kit, this one: https://youtu.be/od4TUoBb2lM , I bought them from a local webshop, https://www.staalkabelstunter.com/bevestiging/ophangkits/.
I used 15 mm aluminium strip (L- and U-shaped).
The video starts with the making of it, if you are just interested in the finished result, skip to 4:50.
Thumbs up for the music! In february 2017 it was *exactly* 150 years ago that 'The Blue Danube' was performed for the very first time! Kudos to one of my heroes mr. Johann Strauss jr., who not wanted to create 'just' beautiful music, but wanted the people to dance to it too.

Floor

See how I made a lamp for above the dining table. I used 3 x 2,5 Watt 12 volt G4 LEDs and 4 x 5 cm RGB-strip, of which I only used the green. The power supply i...
See how I made a lamp for above the dining table. I used 3 x 2,5 Watt 12 volt G4 LEDs and 4 x 5 cm RGB-strip, of which I only used the green. The power supply is above the ceiling, the steel cables are used for powering the lamp. These steel cables are being sold in a hanging kit, this one: https://youtu.be/od4TUoBb2lM , I bought them from a local webshop, https://www.staalkabelstunter.com/bevestiging/ophangkits/.
I used 15 mm aluminium strip (L- and U-shaped).
The video starts with the making of it, if you are just interested in the finished result, skip to 4:50.
Thumbs up for the music! In february 2017 it was *exactly* 150 years ago that 'The Blue Danube' was performed for the very first time! Kudos to one of my heroes mr. Johann Strauss jr., who not wanted to create 'just' beautiful music, but wanted the people to dance to it too.

See how I made a lamp for above the dining table. I used 3 x 2,5 Watt 12 volt G4 LEDs and 4 x 5 cm RGB-strip, of which I only used the green. The power supply is above the ceiling, the steel cables are used for powering the lamp. These steel cables are being sold in a hanging kit, this one: https://youtu.be/od4TUoBb2lM , I bought them from a local webshop, https://www.staalkabelstunter.com/bevestiging/ophangkits/.
I used 15 mm aluminium strip (L- and U-shaped).
The video starts with the making of it, if you are just interested in the finished result, skip to 4:50.

Wreck of the Zuytdorp in June 1712 – Phillip Playford
The Zuytdorp, one of the great ships of the Dutch East India Company (VOC), disappeared after leaving the Cape of Good Hope in April 1712. Its wreck was found by Tom Pepper in 1927 and was positively identified as that of the Zuytdorp by Phil Playford in 1958. The third and final voyage of the Zuytdorp had been disastrous long before it was wrecked at the foot of towering cliffs south of Shark Bay. When the ship had reached the Cape of Good Hope it had already lost 112 of the 286 people who had sailed from the Netherlands. The wreck was identified through coins that it carried, valued at about 250 000 guilders, which went down with the ship forming a 'carpet of silver' on the sea floor.
