A socialite is a person who participates in social activities and spends a significant amount of time entertaining and being entertained at fashionable upper class events. According to Merriam-Webster the word was first used in 1928.
American socialites were originally listed in the Social Register, a list of the names and addresses of the "preferred social contacts" of the prominent families in the 19th century. In 1886, Louis Keller started to consolidate these lists and package them for sale.
Radric Davis (born February 2, 1980), better known by his stage name Gucci Mane, is an American rapper. He debuted in 2005 with Trap House and followed with albums such as Hard to Kill in 2006, Trap-A-Thon and Back to the Trap House in 2007. In 2009, his second studio album The State vs. Radric Davis was released, and The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted was released in 2010, and is his highest charting album so far. Gucci Mane has released many other mixtapes and independent albums as well.
While serving a six-month jail term for assault in late 2005, Davis was charged with murder, though the charges were later dropped due to a lack of evidence. In 2009, he served a year-long county jail sentence for violating probation for his 2005 aggravated assault conviction.
Davis was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and later moved with his single mother to Atlanta. He enjoyed writing poetry as a child, and began rapping at age 14.
In 2005, Davis released his independent debut album entitled Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. Disputes over the rights to this single caused a rift between the two artists. Hard to Kill followed in 2006. Hard To Kill included the hit single "Freaky Gurl". The song peaked at number 12 on the Hot Rap Tracks, number 19 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and at number 62 on the Hot 100.
Boys Noize is the stage name of Alexander Ridha, a German electronic music producer and DJ. It is similar to the name of Ridha's label, Boysnoize Records, which he established in 2005. Ridha has remixed a number of other artists work, including Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode.
Ridha (born in 1982, Hamburg) started producing and DJing at early age, period in which he supported Felix Da Housecat and DJ Hell. Today, Ridha himself is known as one of the most valuable electronic artists, awarded with the Independent Music Award in 2010 as well as 3 years in a row Best Electronic Artist on Beatport. His music is known to merge various styles and having a unique and innovative sound, with influences of hip-hop and disco roots as well as heavy noise and electro sounds. His DJ sets are equally praised and have gained worldwide recognition for the mixing and visuals.
Ridha released his early work on labels such as International Deejay Gigolos Records, Kitsuné Music and Turbo Recordings. In order to retain full artistic freedom however, he established his imprint Boysnoize Records in 2005. Both of his LPs "OI OI OI" and its successor "POWER" were recorded under this label, as well as the singles "Don't Believe The Hype", "&Down" and "Jeffer" as well as "Transmition"
Plot
The story is minimal; love lost, love regained, love destroyed. Our characters are Caleb and Rin. Caleb lives comfortably in his upper/middle class lifestyle as a columnist and blogger. Rin is a prominent student filmmaker in the gay community at his college. Their lives intertwine when Caleb's wife is killed in an accidental hit and run, and Caleb's only memory of the accident is a bumper sticker of a one legged bird. The two develop a relationship that opens up Caleb's world to a new meaning of love, but transcends into dangerous and destructive when he begins to suspect Rin had something to do with his accident. The film is told in four intertwining storylines, shot in four different film styles respectively; Melodrama, French New Wave, Mumblecore (or 'Indie'), and Documentary which will actually feature real interviews from notable members of Minnesota's GLBT community. FAUX takes place during America's current perceptions of sexuality; specifically, the gay rights movement. It will center on Minneapolis's own GLBT community, and shall offer insight as well as provoke thought. But as this is the focal point, it will also embody a broader philosophy, disseminating ideologies of narrative time and history, as well as cultural concepts of sexuality and 'humanism' in the modern American capital. The film aims to approach sexuality in cinema from a typically untouched agenda. This isn't a movie about gays, straights, blacks, whites, bad guys or good guys; this is a movie about people; this is a movie about human beings.
The economy of cinema. The economy of sexuality. The economy of life.

[first lines]::Constance: My mom told me that my dad was doing an assignment in like, um, Rwanda - I don't know, some place like that - and he accidentally stood on a landmine. She said the first he he thought was, I can't photograph this, it's under my foot. So he took out a pencil and paper and made notes about it and all. You know, to have in case you had to write an essay on it or something. And then he counted to three, and jumped off. And the mine never went off. He told my mom not to tell me about it, because it would make me land up in a shrink's office or something. [grinning] I can just see him do it. He's just so weird. I mean, you've just got to accept that about him.
Man in the Park: [in broken English] Do not worry, sweetheart, your mother and father, they have a little fight. Is no problem. Is, uh... I tell you, is like puss in a pimple. It must come out. [gesturing at Hank & Erin] It come out. Is puss. It's good.
[last lines]::Constance: So I finally met her, and I'm sorry but, all I could think of was, like - what type of fish live in that river?

Plot
A young Russian boy, Thomas Minton, travels to New York as a passenger on a Russian freighter. Close to Ellis Island he gets off and thus starts his journey to America the same way as all immigrants in former times. Thomas is searching for the family of one of his ancestors, who had emigrated decades ago, but once sent a letter home together with a sample of his new profession: 3D-Photography. The boy follows his relative's traces by counter-checking the old 3D-Photographs of New York (using an antique viewer) with the same places and how they look today. This way, the audience gets to see the Big Apple in former times as well as today.

Suffer my last days
Do I really gotta talk aloud?
Smiling between beats
you know you really hurt me now
you know I wanna please you
and socialize
you know I wanna see you
you socialite
Look at the first man
you ever really cared about
with someone you can't stand
you know you've got to get him out
you know I wanna please you
and socialize
you know I wanna see you
you socialite
Suffer the last stand
And light another cigarette
Laughing beneath me
You know you just got what you get
you know I wanna please you
and socialize
you know I wanna see you
you socialite
To talk about the things of no interest
Actin' like you know my business
Walkin' like you got golden charisma child...
Propin' hard so the things that you mention
Fall in line with your false intention
Hype the ones you know can get you real far
I don't want your company, I don't want your money
I don't want a thing from you, nothin' you can give me
I don't want your sympathy,you can't fool me sucker
I am out for blood
Social socialite, tell me what you want from life
Social socialite, I ain't no socilite
Social socialite, I know what you're tryin' to be
Social socialite, I ain't no socialite
Lookin' good so they all pey attention
Ain't no harm just as long as you're mentioned
Decked to kill like style reinvented child
Stay away from old friends who may need you
Cause down and out friends you can't be seen with
It's tough enough to move up one more notch
I don't want your conversation, I don't want your party
I would stand for alienation before I'd see me that way
Cause I got heart and soul from mamma and daddy
gave me pride
Truth I cannot hide
Social socialite, tell me what you want from life
Social socialite, I ain't no socilite
Social socialite, you can't get up next to me
Social socialite, I know I ain't no socialite
Social socialite, tell me what you want from life
Social socialite, I ain't no socilite
Social socialite, suger, what you tryin' to be?
