CCU Supports Striking Canadian Blood Services Workers of NSUPE Local 19 on PEI

27th Annual CCU Convention Begins October 25 in Vancouver
The 27th Annual CCU Convention and Labour School is taking place from October 24 to 27 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Convention allows members from across the country to come together, learn from experts in the fields of union organizing and administration, and debate proposals on CCU policies and future activities. Conventions are the central democratic institution of the CCU.
Documentary – 47 minutes
The documentary also focuses on the struggles of labour activists inside the CCU, its proud history, its work with social justice activists in Canada and around the globe, and the new economic challenges of wage stagnation and growing inequality.
The documentary will be submitted to over 50 film and documentary festivals in Canada and around the world in 2014 and 2015, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto Hot Docs Festival.
