The Fate of Lee Khan (1973) with Angela Mao Ying, Li Hua Li, Roy Chiao. Plot: Angela Mao stars as a pre-Ming dynasty (or around that time) restaurant waitress. The restaurant seems to get one bad customer after another while something clandestine is going on with the restaurant. It's being used as communication post for the Chinese rebels. They use coins to indicate that one's an agent. Soon, Lee Khan the Mongol lord himself shows up at the restaurant. The production company says it's Golden Harvest, but it looks awfully low budget for a Golden Harvest production. Maybe there was a collaboration between Taiwan movie studios. The shooting style is not like that of Golden Harvest either. There's no dynamic close up shots during the fight scenes like you see in their production. Actors are a...
The Fate of Lee Khan (1973). Martial Arts movie starring Angela Mao, Roy Chiao, Li Li-Hua, Han Ying-Chieh. Directed by King Hu. Fight Choreography by Sammo Hung. The Fate of Lee Khan is to the Chinese martial arts movie what Once Upon a Time in the West is to the Italian Western: a brilliant anthology of its genre's theme and styles, yielding an exhilaratingly original vision. It's set in the Yuan Dynasty, when China was under Mongol rule, and centres on the efforts of a band of Chinese patriots (mostly women) to retrieve a map that has fallen into the hands of Mongol baron Lee Khan. A lighthearted exposition (especially witty in its handling of the sexual politics) leads up to a tense stalemate, with the patriots posing as manager and staff of an inn where their enemy is lodging, but una...
Frank Dux ( Played by Jean Claud Van Damme) pays his respects to Senzo Tanaka, his shidoshi, before leaving for Hong Kong to compete in the kumite. Tanaka tells Dux that he isn't obligated to compete. Dux replies, "To honor you, means everything to me." Roy Chiao the actor who plays Senzo Tanaka, a master of the art of ninjutsu and Dux's shidoshi, also played the head of the Shaolin Temple and Bruce Lee's sifu in Enter The Dragon, another classic martial arts movie. This is a great scene from a cult classic martial arts film released in 1988. Movies like this were a major catalyst for the development of the sports of mixed martial arts (MMA) and Vale Tudo, the modern incarnations of which began in the 90s in Brazil, Japan, and The United States. MMA later went mainstream in the 200...

Piel de ciudad,
Buscaré
Esquivar la soledad.
La gente va,
Y el ruido me distrae,
Me encontraré,
Otra vez,
Mil historias en un bar,
Y en el libro soy sólo una historia más.
Voy sin dirección,
Quiero dejarme ir,
Perder la razón,
Y en lo que ser,
Pues sólo existe el hoy.
Soy pasajero,
Yo voy donde quiero
Y no pueden detener mis pasos.
Soy un viajero,
Que salta sin miedo a caer,
Intentando encontrar su lugar.
Caminaré,
Sin pensar
Una calle y otra más.
Luces de neón me alumbran al pasar
Voy sin dirección,
Quiero dejarme ir,
Perder la razón,
Y en lo que sé,
Pues sólo existe el hoy.
Soy pasajero,
Yo voy donde quiero
Y no pueden detener mis pasos.
Soy un viajero,
Que salta sin miedo a caer,
Intentando encontrar su lugar. (uhh uhh)
Soy pasajero,
Yo voy donde quiero
Y no pueden detener mis pasos. (mis pasos)
Soy un viajero,
Que salta sin miedo a caer,
Intentando encontrar su lugar. (uhh ohh)
(Soy pasajero,

Y no pueden detener mis pasos!
