Movie Synopsis
Kaptaan Singh is a lawyer, but not by choice. He was forced into law by his long family lineage of lawyers. Hence when he is constantly failing in winning cases, it comes as less of a surprise but also with each failure the growing resentment from his father is becoming difficult to handle for Kaptaan. Kaptaan is faced with a dual rewarding opportunity of not only getting married to his childhood sweetheart but also to move to US and handle his uncle’s law firm but only on the condition that he wins one case and prove his worth to his father who is a retired lawyer and uncle who is a Judge. This case also, which comes as more of procedure goes on to change Kaptaan’s life and his perspective to law and its usage.

Movie Synopsis
Kaptaan Singh is a lawyer, but not by choice. He was forced into law by his long family lineage of lawyers. Hence when he is constantly failing in winning cases, it comes as less of a surprise but also with each failure the growing resentment from his father is becoming difficult to handle for Kaptaan. Kaptaan is faced with a dual rewarding opportunity of not only getting married to his childhood sweetheart but also to move to US and handle his uncle’s law firm but only on the condition that he wins one case and prove his worth to his father who is a retired lawyer and uncle who is a Judge. This case also, which comes as more of procedure goes on to change Kaptaan’s life and his perspective to law and its usage.
It’s a coming of age story full of humour and life changing events , emotions and drama. Kaptaan finds his true calling, his destiny on the path he was taking to avoid it.

Sanskrit Hari (Devanagari: हरि) is in origin a colour term for yellowish hues, including yellow, golden, yellowish-brown or reddish brown, fallow or khaki, pale yellow, greenish or green-yellow. It has important symbolism in the Rigveda and hence in Hinduism; in Rigvedic symbolism, it unites the colours of Soma, the Sun, and bay horses under a single term.
The word Hari is widely used in later Sanskrit and Prakrit literature, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Sikh religions. It appears as 650th name of Vishnu in the Vishnu sahasranama of the Mahabharata and hence rose to special importance in Hindu Vaishnavism.
Etymology
The Sanskrit word is cognate with Avestan zari, with the same meaning (zari has (dubiously) been identified as the first part of the name of Zarathustra). The English words gold and yellow (from Germanic gulþan, gelwaz) as well as Latin helvus "light-yellow" are from the same Indo-European root, reconstructed as *ǵʰelH-. In Greek Hari means grace or kindness. Some words in non-Indo-European languages which fell under Hindu dominance during the medieval period also have loanwords derived from the Sanskrit term, including the word for "day" in Malay and Indonesian, and the word for "king" in Tagalog.

Gippy Grewal (born in Koom Kalan village near Ludhiana) is an Indian singer and film actor. He is known for his Punjabi songs. His single "Phulkari" broke many records in Punjab. He made his acting debut in the 2010 movie, Mel Karade Rabba, and which he followed with Carry On Jatta, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Bhaji in Problem and Jatt James Bond Actor Award" in 2011 for his performance in the 2011 film Jihne Mera Dil Luteya. He received the "PIFAA best actor award" in 2012 along with Diljit Dosanjh and received "PTC Best actor Award" in 2015 for Jatt James Bond along with Diljit Dosanjh
Music career
Grewal made his debut with the album Chakkh Lai was produced by Aman Hayer. He followed with the albums Nasha, Phulkari, Phulkari 2 Just Hits and Gangster. His 2012 song "Angreji Beat", featured in the Bollywood film Cocktail. The video for his 2013 single "Hello Hello" was shot in Las Vegas, Nevada. He performed at the Sandwell and Birmingham Mela in 2014.

He was forced into law by his long family lineage of lawyers. Hence when he is constantly failing in winning cases, it comes as less of a surprise but also with each failure the growing resentment from his father is becoming difficult to handle for Kaptaan. Kaptaan is faced with a dual rewarding opportunity of not only getting married to his childhood sweetheart but also to move to US and handle his uncle’s law firm but only on the condition that he wins one case and prove his worth to his father who is a retired lawyer and uncle who is a Judge. This case also, which comes as more of procedure goes on to change Kaptaan’s life and his perspective to law and its usage. It’s a coming of age story full of humour and life changing events , emotions and drama. Kaptaan finds his true calling, his destiny on the path he was taking to avoid it. Movie Synopsis
Kaptaan Singh is a lawyer, but not by choice. He was forced into law by his long family lineage of lawyers. Hence when he is constantly failing in winning cases, it comes as less of a surprise but also with each failure the growing resentment from his father is becoming difficult to handle for Kaptaan. Kaptaan is faced with a dual rewarding opportunity of not only getting married to his childhood sweetheart but also to move to US and handle his uncle’s law firm but only on the condition that he wins one case and prove his worth to his father who is a retired lawyer and uncle who is a Judge. This case also, which comes as more of procedure goes on to change Kaptaan’s life and his perspective to law and its usage.

Movie Synopsis
Kaptaan Singh is a lawyer, but not by choice. He was forced into law by his long family lineage of lawyers. Hence when he is constantly failing in winning cases, it comes as less of a surprise but also with each failure the growing resentment from his father is becoming difficult to handle for Kaptaan. Kaptaan is faced with a dual rewarding opportunity of not only getting married to his childhood sweetheart but also to move to US and handle his uncle’s law firm but only on the condition that he wins one case and prove his worth to his father who is a retired lawyer and uncle who is a Judge. This case also, which comes as more of procedure goes on to change Kaptaan’s life and his perspective to law and its usage.
It’s a coming of age story full of humour and life changing events , emotions and drama. Kaptaan finds his true calling, his destiny on the path he was taking to avoid it.

Movie Synopsis
Kaptaan Singh is a lawyer, but not by choice. He was forced into law by his long family lineage of lawyers. Hence when he is constantly failing in winning cases, it comes as less of a surprise but also with each failure the growing resentment from his father is becoming difficult to handle for Kaptaan. Kaptaan is faced with a dual rewarding opportunity of not only getting married to his childhood sweetheart but also to move to US and handle his uncle’s law firm but only on the condition that he wins one case and prove his worth to his father who is a retired lawyer and uncle who is a Judge. This case also, which comes as more of procedure goes on to change Kaptaan’s life and his perspective to law and its usage.
It’s a coming of age story full of humour and life changing events , emotions and drama. Kaptaan finds his true calling, his destiny on the path he was taking to avoid it.
