David Sonenberg is known for being the founder of the music management label DAS Communications. Sonenberg also dabbled in the film industry as the producer of the Academy Award winning film When We Were Kings.
Born and raised in New York[when?], Sonenberg received a degree in Theater and Political Science at Tufts University and a law degree at Harvard Law School. He joined the entertainment law firm of Weissberger & Frosch, which counted among its clients Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, John Gielgud, and Laurence Olivier. Sonenberg represented Broadway and Off Broadway musical productions, including Hair, Godspell, and Cabaret.
Sonenberg then established his own law firm and began DAS Communications Ltd., a full service management company located in New York and Los Angeles for artists in the entertainment and amusement industries. DAS’s first management project, Meat Loaf's Bat out of Hell, set an industry record for a debut album with worldwide record sales to date of more than 40 million. Sonenberg has stated that before representing Meat Loaf he thought managers were "lowlifes." Other clients of DAS Communications have included Jim Steinman, Jimmy Cliff, Southside Johnny, Jimmy Iovine, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Keith Thomas, The Spin Doctors, The Fugees, Joan Osborne, Spacehog, Lauryn Hill, The Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, Indiggo, Antonio Pontarelli and many others. To date, artists represented by DAS Communications have written, produced, and performed recordings with sales totaling in excess of 200 million records worldwide.

David (Hebrew: דָּוִד, דָּוִיד, Modern David Tiberian Dāwîḏ; ISO 259-3 Dawid; Strong's Daveed; beloved; Arabic: داوود or داود Dāwūd) was, according to the Hebrew Bible, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel and, according to the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke, an ancestor of Jesus. David is seen as a major Prophet in Islamic traditions. David is very important to Jewish, Christian and Islamic doctrine and culture. In Judaism, David, or David HaMelekh, is the King of Israel, and the Jewish people. Jewish tradition maintains that a direct descendant of David will be the Messiah. In Islam, he is known as Dawud, considered to be a prophet and the king of a nation. He is depicted as a righteous king, though not without faults, as well as an acclaimed warrior, musician, and poet, traditionally credited for composing many of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms.

Plot: "Meat Loaf" Aday is an overgrown Texas youngster, the son of a gentle woman dying of cancer and an alcoholic, abusive father. Tormented by his father and schoolmates over his size, he strikes out on his own after his mother's death, in an impossible task to prove himself to the world and to himself. A chance audition for a musical leads him to join forces with composer Jim Steinman, and together the two make music history with the operatic rock album "Bat Out of Hell." But the demons that drive Meat Loaf aren't assuaged by success, and eventually he must come to terms with them.

Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul are still in contract negotiations, but that may be about to change, according to the Los Angeles Times. Gregg Kofi Brown was executive producer of the 2003 Evening Standard cover-mount CD give away in memory of Damilola Taylor which featured the likes of Robbie Williams, Craig David, Gorillaz, Blue and Ms.Dynamite.
In April 1997, Gregg was invited by David Sonenberg (producer of Academy award winner "When We Were Kings") to document & film Lauryn Hill's (the Fugees) fact-finding mission in East Africa. This documentary was made to highlight the problems of the refugees in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania and sponsored by Lauryn's charity The Refugee Project. Gregg & Lauryn performed together several times during this trip and was encouraged by her to make this album.

Kesha shared her message to fans as the 2011 deposition came to light.
The edited video, published by TMZ and obtained from a Dr Luke source, shows Kesha answering questions about the abuse allegations, which came up when she and Dr Luke were being sued by her ex-manager David Sonenberg of DAS Communications.

Janet Sonenberg and Robert Bosnak have been working on the method Dreamwork for Actors with different companies all over the world since 1997. It originates from Robert Bosnak's work Embodied Imagination and Janet Sonenberg's wish to work on her students imagination at MIT, Massachusets Institute of Technology. Janet Sonenberg has written a book that describes their work on how they developed the method. In this clip Janet Sonenberg guides us into the first step of two in the method Dreamwork for Actors, the INCUBATION. The footage comes from a work done in Sweden in 2009 when the actors Anna Söderling, Erik Ståhlberg and Per Nordin worked on the method, when rehearsing the Norweigian playwright Jon Fosse's play Warm. By this point in the opera (late in the 2nd act), however, it has become apparent that Josh will never play in the white majors. It has just been announced that Jackie Robinson has been signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers' minor league team, and Josh stands alone on a ball field with beer cans scattered around him, a shadow of his former self, carrying on about imagined conversations with Joe DiMaggio.
