The Wings of Tatev Aerial Tramway was built as part of the Tatev Revival Project. The length of the aerial line broke the world record, and its construction was also completed in a record-breaking timeframe of ten months. The project was designed and implemented by Doppelmayr/Garaventa, an Austrian-Swiss company that is a world leader in aerial tramway design. A cable car ride to the Monastery takes just 12 minutes. By land it would take 40 minutes along the steep, winding road through the Vorotan River Gorge. As one tramway cabin reaches the Tatev Terminal, the other arrives at the Halidzor Terminal. Each cabin holds 25 passengers and a tram driver, and each hour 200 passengers ride this unique tramway. Three massive supports divide the ropeway into four sections, with the longest at 2.7 kilometers. From this section, passengers can enjoy a magnificent view as they approach the Monastery.

Это тестовые прыжки к бейсфестивалю который состоится в июне 2016года на канатной дороге крылья Татева в Армении. Высота экзита 350 метров. Травяная площадка приземления находится непосредственно под экзитом. После прыжка путь наверх занимает 10минут пешком и10минут на машине. Татев древний христианский монастырь и является одной из главных туристических достопримечательностей Армении. Вокруг него много недорогих гостиниц и кафе. Перед кабинкой канатной дороги есть паркинг и огромные газоны для укладки. Мы приглашаем бейсеров со всего мира принять участие а этом мероприятии. Увидимся в июне)

The Monastery of Tatev (Armenian: Տաթև) is a 9th century Armenian monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southern Armenia. The term "Tatev" usually refers to the monastery. It stands on a plateau on the edge of the deep gorge of the Orotan (Vorotan) River. It became the bishopric seat of Syunik and played a significant role in the history of the region as a centre for economic, political, spiritual and cultural activity.
In the 14th and 15th centuries Tatev Monastery hosted one of the most important Armenian medieval universities which contributed to the education of science, religion and philosophy; reproduction of books and development of miniature painting. Scholars of Tatev University contributed to the preservation of Armenian culture and creed during one of its most turbulent periods in its history.
According to tradition, Tatev Monastery is named after Eustateus, a disciple of St. Thaddeus the Apostle, who preached and was martyred in this region. His name has evolved to Tatev.

The Wings of Tatev Aerial Tramway was built as part of the Tatev Revival Project. The length of the aerial line broke the world record, and its construction was also completed in a record-breaking timeframe of ten months. The project was designed and implemented by Doppelmayr/Garaventa, an Austrian-Swiss company that is a world leader in aerial tramway design. A cable car ride to the Monastery takes just 12 minutes. By land it would take 40 minutes along the steep, winding road through the Vorotan River Gorge. As one tramway cabin reaches the Tatev Terminal, the other arrives at the Halidzor Terminal. Each cabin holds 25 passengers and a tram driver, and each hour 200 passengers ride this unique tramway. Это тестовые прыжки к бейсфестивалю который состоится в июне 2016года на канатной дороге крылья Татева в Армении. Высота экзита 350 метров. Травяная площадка приземления находится непосредственно под экзитом. После прыжка путь наверх занимает 10минут пешком и10минут на машине. Татев древний христианский монастырь и является одной из главных туристических достопримечательностей Армении. Вокруг него много недорогих гостиниц и кафе. Перед кабинкой канатной дороги есть паркинг и огромные газоны для укладки. Мы приглашаем бейсеров со всего мира принять участие а этом мероприятии. Увидимся в июне)
