I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the department of political science at the University of British Columbia. I specialize in contemporary political theory (specifically democratic theory), the history of western legal and political thought, comparative political theory and Canadian politics. In my research I examine the relationship between speech and action – word and deed – in democratic politics within and across cultures.
