Thinkers are Thankers and Thankers are Voters
On the heels of “another Thanksgiving dinner that couldn’t be beat”, I’ve been thinking about how thankful we all should be that we live in a country blessed by God with so many rich natural resources, so many gifted human resources and so many opportunities for citizens to express themselves—through writing, art, music, entrepreneurship and business development, etc.

Conscience Legislation
Our Canadian Constitution should protect the right of Canadians to freedom of conscience. Governments violate this principle when they force Canadians to perform acts that violate their consciences. The CHP has policies to protect Canadians from being forced to defile their consciences.
Democracy and our Constitution
Our Constitution has become a tool in the hands of groups seeking special status. The strident voices that seek to diminish our heritage are heard and responded to by judges who have stepped beyond their role of administering the law. CHP Canada refuses to kowtow to those who weaken our cultural heritage.
Protect Victims of Crime
Treating violent criminals as ”victims of the system” rather than as responsible adults who have made bad choices, further violates the real victims—innocent Canadians who have suffered violence at their hands. CHP Canada’s criminal justice policy focuses on restitution and restoration in the case of property crimes and public safety in the case of violent or aggressive crime.
