A carpenter (builder) is a skilled craftsperson who works with timber to construct, install and maintain buildings, furniture, and other objects. The work, known as carpentry, may involve manual labor and work outdoors.
Carpentry skill is gained through experience and study. In some countries (such as the United States), there are no formal training requirements other than in trade unions, and the trade can be easy to enter. In other countries (such as Germany, Japan and Canada) there are strict standards.
The word "carpenter" is the English rendering of the Old French word carpentier (become charpentier) which is derived from the Latin carpentrius [artifex], "(maker) of a carriage. The Middle English and Scots word (in the sense of "builder") was wright (from the Old English wryhta), which could be used in compound forms such as wheelwright or boatwright. In British slang, a carpenter is sometimes referred to as a "chippy".
Carpentry in the United States is almost always done by men. With 98.5% of carpenters being male, it was the fourth most male-dominated occupation in the country in 1999.
Robert Anthony Plant, CBE (born 20 August 1948) is an English singer and songwriter best known as the vocalist and lyricist of the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin. He has also had a successful solo career. In 2007, Plant released Raising Sand, an album produced by T-Bone Burnett with American bluegrass soprano Alison Krauss, which won the 2009 Grammy Award for Album of the Year at the 51st Grammy Awards.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Plant is regarded as one of the most significant singers in the history of rock music, and has influenced contemporaries and later singers such as Freddie Mercury and Axl Rose. In 2006, heavy metal magazine Hit Parader named Plant the "Greatest Metal Vocalist of All-Time". In 2009, Plant was voted "the greatest voice in rock" in a poll conducted by Planet Rock. In 2011, a Rolling Stone readers' pick placed Plant in first place of the magazine's "Best Lead Singers of All Time".
Plant was born in the Black Country town of West Bromwich (then in Staffordshire now in West Midlands) to parents Robert C. who worked as a civil engineer and Annie C. (Cain) Plant, but grew up in Kidderminster, in Worcestershire. Plant gained an interest in singing and rock and roll music at an early age.

The purported purpose of this film is to show how women in former communist Europe are exploited in the sex industry by rich tourists. Sometimes you meet a person who changes your life forever - he's just walked into a room full of them!
Alone they were lost. Together they were magical
When Chasing Your Dreams... It Helps To Be A Little Crazy!
Roy: We're going to do "Cosi Fan Tutte", the opera.::Doug: What, Little Richard wrote an opera? Tutti Fruiti the opera?::Roy: It's an opera by Mozart, you low life.
Roy: Couldn't direct a nymphomaniac to a stag night.
Cherry: This is just another battle of the sexes.::Roy: Oh, I suppose so... If you could describe the Crusades as a sightseeing lark on the way to Jerusalem!::Doug: Oh, please, someone give him some lithium!
Cherry: [to Doug] Go burn a cat.::[she exits]::Lewis: Why are they always saying that?::Doug: That's what I did.::Lewis: Burned a cat?::Doug: No, CATS. See mum had five cats, and me and mum we'd been having some... differences. So one night I rounded 'em up, put 'em in a cage, doused 'em with petrol and put a match to 'em!::[Lewis chuckles, thinking it's a joke. Doug grins and laughs]::Doug: Heh-heh! Funny, eh?::[He sits next to Lewis]::Doug: Then, I opened up the cage door and I let 'em run loose. Welllll, what a racket. They were runnin' round the backyard, burnin' and howlin'.::[He gives a psychotic little laugh]::Doug: No such thing as grace under pressure for a burning cat, lemme tell ya. Then, me mum came outside to see what was happenin'? Darn near freaked out she did. See, I figured I'd wait a couple of hours till the cats were dead and mum was feeling a bit sorry for herself, and I'd go up to the front door and I'd knock on it and I'd say, "Hi, Mum! I'm here to talk about our unresolved conflicts."::Doug: But oh no, One of those FUCKING cats ran into the house; a couple of minutes the whole bloody house was on fire. Within half an hour there was no front door to knock on.::Doug: Yeah, if it wasn't for that damn cat, I wouldn't be in here.
Cherry: Will outsiders see the show?::Lewis: Don't know.::Cherry: If it's a real large role, I'll invite my dad. He'll be surprised to see me out of water. [Lewis just looks at her]::Cherry: My dad was a great duck hunter. But we were very poor and couldn't afford a dog, so... He used to get me to point and fetch the ducks. [pause] Those lakes can get pretty cold when you're swimmin' in 'em with a dead duck in your mouth. [Lewis gapes]::Cherry: Haa! Just pullin' your leg!
Roy: I know you can take criticism Jerry, because you must get a lot of it!

Chief Magistrate: [to Liliom] The memory of you makes them much happier than you could ever make them.
Julie: It's possible for someone to beat you, and beat you, and beat you, and it not hurt at all.
Chief Magistrate: Women like Julie are endlessly faithful. It's touching. It's mysterious.
Louise: [to Liliom] Go away, you crazy man!
Liliom: [speaking about Louise] I wanted to make her laugh, and she wouldn't laugh! I wanted to make her like me, and she wouldn't like me! Oh, I've failed!
Julie: [to Marie, who is engaged to Wolf] Have you ever experienced passionate love with Wolf?
Marie: He takes my arm... and we walk around swinging our arms up and down, up and down, like this. That's passionate love.
Liliom: Aren't you afraid of me... that I'll take your money away from you?::Julie: Oh, I haven't got any. But if I did, I'd give it all to you.
Liliom: [speaking about the bad-tempered Mme. Muscat] I ain't never beat up a woman yet... well, almost never.
Liliom: [to Julie] I beat you, not because I was mad at you, but because I couldn't bear to see you cry. But I'm not asking forgiveness. I don't do that, I don't. I'll have to go on the train alone.
I’ve seen it all, criss crossed five thousand miles
past rocky tips and sandy shores
I’ve lost some friends, but I bounced back again
from frozen wrecks on icy roads
And my friends all say I’ve lost another year
that it’s time to give it up and face my fears
But it’s not about the fun, it’s being proud of what
I’ve done
about having all the guts to do it here
I’ve seen it all, lived life on borrowed time
Past city blocks and gravel roads
I lost some friends, dropped out been on the mend
I climbed right back from no control
But I don’t know how much more that I can take
before my body gives and starts to break
But it’s not about the fun, it’s being proud of what
I’ve done
about having all the guts to do it here
Well I had it down, fought hard and now I’m found
but I’m wearing thin out on the road
And I’ve done the rounds, met girls in northern towns
but these days I’d rather sleep alone
But I don’t know how much more that I can take
before my body gives and starts to break
But it’s not about the fun, it’s being proud of what
I’ve done
about having all the guts to do it here
We don’t need another sad song
There’s blood in my mouth but I’ll just stand and smile
I’ve walked these lonely streets for miles
Well I’ve faced hard times but I’m still standing tall
I’ve climbed right back from every fall
You can’t take what I say
Twist and turn it around
You can’t keep a good man down
There’s no use complaining on how I live my life
I’ve stood my ground both day and night
You can’t take what I say
Twist and turn it around
You can’t keep a good man down
I will rise, I will rise up
I will rise, I will rise up
You can’t take what I say
Twist and turn it around
You know, I'll find a way
To leave behind the traffic and long workday
You know, the world won't wait
It's up to us to make a mark and seal our fate
You know, that times have changed
Kids leaving farms for paychecks and holidays
I said hey
You're a long way
From your home
In the country
You know, I'll find a way
To leave behind the bridges and cityscapes
You know, the world won't wait
It's up to us to start the life that we create
You know, the times have changed
We're planting crops of virtue for brighter days
I said hey
You're a long way
From your home
In the country
It's over, it's over with
We're moving on, we’re moving on
I’m packing up all our shit
We’re heading home, we’re heading home
We’re headed home, we’re headed home
I said hey
You're a long way
From your home
In the country
I said hey
You're a long way
From your friends
And your family
There’s a bonfire up by the county road
And where we’ll end up no one knows
And I heard there’s a bash up by Sally’s street
Let’s pick Betty up we can dance to the beat
We go crazy in spring, we go wild in the fall
Let’s go shimmy and shake at the old Legion hall
It’s been a long hard day, time to live it up our own way
Here’s to a long hard night, dance til daylight
It don’t matter what the old folks say
Ten of us boys pile into a car,
We head out in search of some girls and a bar
There’s an old town hall up on the main street,
There’ll be doo wop girls with heels on their feet
We can ask ‘em to dance, we can feed ‘em a line,
We can shimmy and shake til that jukebox dies
It’s been a long hard day, time to live it up our own way
Here’s to a long hard night, dance til daylight
It don’t matter what the old folks say
We go all the way, we get crazy at the end of the day
It’s a long hard day, time to live it up our own way
Here’s to a long hard night, dance til daylight
I faced the lion of the thoughts in my head
And the shark of my fear til the water was red
I tried to salvage what was left of my friends
But couldn’t stand for all their modern day trends
I fought a battle of a thousand to one
Saw bodies fall through the smoke of my gun
But I left them all to face the rain
But I left them all to face the rain
I headed east towards the wheat and the rye
Past johnny law and his all seeing eye
I wouldn’t have it, try to lock me away
They shot me down on a dark day in May
But I left them all to face the rain
You said everything, you said everything's fine
(No, it's not, No it's not)
It's been fucked for a long, long time
(Ever since a father left)
They'll build towers up on our home
(No they’re not, no they’re not)
Take the land and then steal its soul
(No you won’t, no you won’t)
I just can't stay and wait
I told you I'm sorry
Six shots might save the day
I told you I'm sorry
It’s the heart, the heart of our family name
(Ever since we were kids)
Dark green fields built by a summer rain
(With cedar trees that touch the sky)
Don't set foot on the soil of our home
(No they’re not, no they’re not)
Cut down trees or defy what you're told
(No you won’t, no you won’t)
I can't just stay and wait
I told you I'm sorry
Six shots might save the day
I told you I'm sorry
There's no words left to say
I told you I'm sorry
On that cold day in May
I told you I'm sorry
You said everything, you said everything's fine
(No, it's not, No it's not)
There's no words left to say
I told you I'm sorry
I can't just sit and wait
I told you I'm sorry
On that cold day in May
I told you I'm sorry
Six shots might save the day

Oh Joan did you know that I love you still?
that’d I’d give up my whole life so you wouldn’t have to
take those pills
Oh Joan if I had just the chance to say
that’d I’d give up my whole life just to be with you for
one more day
Oh Joan how I wish you’d see, but you’re here alone in
this sterile home
and you can’t even recognize me
And I know it’s so hard to get through this
And I know it’s so hard to get through these days
Through the fever and the fits, we find solace in the
summer sun’s rays
I know you’re too far gone
And I know it’s so hard to get through this
And I know it’s so hard to get through these days
Oh Joan if I had just the chance to say
that’d I’d give up my whole life so it wouldn’t have to
I put my heart in everything, so put your soul in
everything
I’m not sure I can bear the sting, without you in the
world
You left me here to hold this ring, to find the good in
everything
Every single day, why you got to throw it all away?
Every single day, why you got to throw us all away?
You say you don’t know, how can you not know?
Waiting for the grass to grow, watched water never
boils
I’m tired of this one man show, fighting for the things
I know
Every single day, why you got to throw it all away?
Every single day, I try and find the perfect words to
Every single day, why you got to throw us all away?
You know it’s not the same thing, you know it’s not the
same
You know I’m not the same
Don’t believe everything you’re told,
A girl like you needs to break the mould
Quit thinking it’s our time to fold,
You’ve got nothing to live for the cold
I put my heart in everything,
So put your soul in everything
You say you don’t know, how can you not know?
All away
Well in times like this I swear
You’re a midas king and everything turns gold
Help me get through, get through all this shit
Through the headaches and heartaches, headaches and
heartaches
And we don’t know which way to go
I’m staring at the window for you to come home
Cause the day it overwhelms me more than I’ve ever
known
But I soldier on, I soldier on
Will you help me out?
And throughout this whole affair
I’ve lost everything and anyone you told
Help me forge through, forge through all this shit
Through the headaches and heartaches, headaches and
heartaches
But we still don’t know which way to go
I’m staring at the window for you to come home
And the nights they overwhelm me more than I’ve ever
known
But we soldier on, we soldier on
Will you help me out?
You always stay the same
You always said that I always stay the same
You might be right, it could be
Just save yourself, if I can’t help
You might be right, with all the shit you take
Just save yourself, if I can’t help
You know that I have found it
with everything you gave to me
You might be right, it could be
Just save yourself, if I can’t help
You might be right, with all the shit you take
Just save yourself, if I can’t help
Though I can help
You will be
You will be saved
You might be right, it could be
Just save yourself, if I can’t help
You might be right, with all the shit you take
Just save yourself, if I can’t help
Well I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling so good
I’m sure that your folks would help out if they could
I know everybody was sorry to see you go
You followed the lights of the big city dream
And it lead you down paths you couldn’t have seen
Now you’re spending your days down at the sally ann
You got fed up with the town,
Same people and places always around
You never had it so good
Well it seems a bit like you’re wearing down
No people to talk to, no jobs to be found
Sounds like some things in you might have changed
We all mess up once just don’t do it again
Go back on your word then turn on your friends
But I know everybody wish you could make it home
You got fed up with the town,
Same people and places always around
You never had it so good
There’s no heart to be found,
Just the grime and the smoke to help wear a man down
You never had it so good
Well I’m wearing down like the heels on the soles of my
shoes
worn from city streets and the smog in the afternoon
We can tear it down, we can tear it down whoa
back to soil and to seed, back to people you want to kno
This time it’s time to separate, time to separate
Well I’m standing tall fighting hard for the life we knew
but as time goes on find there’s less and there’s less I
can do
We can turn it ‘round, we can turn it ‘round whoa
rebuild our town cause it won’t fall down with a place
for some grass to grow
C’mon, it’s time to separate, time to separate
You won’t go, so let’s go
We reap and sow for the things we know,
A simple life that make take some strife
This time it’s time to separate, time to separate
We can turn it ‘round, we can turn it ‘round
I never believed in what the old folks say
It’s worth waiting for something that’s been long gone
In twenty four hours I’ll be on a plane
Praying to God I make it home again
With a stammer and strength I need to face the light of
I’ll lie right in your arms and wait
Until the suns up, until the suns up
I’m gonna lie here in your arms and wait
Until the suns up, until the suns up
It’s only a day before I leave the state
I’ve been dreaming of nightfall with no dawn
And all I can hear is what the papers say
The march of the drums well dressed privates play
And the sound of our horns to tell the world we’ve lost
our way
I’ll lie right in your arms and wait
Until the suns up, until the suns up
I’m gonna lie here in your arms and wait
Until the suns up, until the suns up
I never believed in what the old folks say
It’s worth waiting for something that’s been long gone
It’s only a day before I leave the state
And you don’t have to say those mean things
when you curse me out on the end of the telephone
Now I’m staring at my shoes going all the way home
cause I’m breaking down and the cracks well they start to
show
Raise your glass and toast to the man that I was
Things you think you know
Things you think you know
Well you don’t have to go your own way
you can stay right here with my heart beating next to you
I’ll be up all night loving all those things you do
and I’m getting old and the scars well they start to show
Raise your glass and drink to the man that I was
Things you think you know
Things you think you know
Oh, I’m sorry I let you go
Sorry I let you go
Sorry I let you
You don’t have to go,
Please don’t go
And you don’t have to say those mean things
I’ve faced traffic fines and tons of highway lines
Been through bar room fights and chased by flashing
lights
Another two bit town but I’ll just hang around
You said life on the road has made our love run cold
I don’t know if you’re alive or dead
I’m home
I’m home
I’m home
Finally off the road
I rack up lonely nights with girls and neon lights
Stare at endless sky and watch the miles tick by
Some old man at the bar he swears you won’t get far
I’ll spend an hour on the phone but still I’m all alone
I don’t know if you’re alive or dead
I’m home
I’m home
I’m home
Finally off the road
You said the world won’t wait for you.
Tell me everything that you know
I’ll just lie right down you can take me
Faced the battles for all this time
And it won’t be, it won’t the same
No it won’t be the same once you’ve found out everything
I’ve done wrong
Tell me everything that you know
About life and love
It’s a long road
I’ve wandered for all this time
You won’t listen
Tell me everything that’s been said
All the thoughts in your head
Is it courage that makes you so goddamn strong?
Will I find my own way?
Will we find our own way?
You won’t listen
Tell me everything that you know
I’ll stand my ground
Face the demons that have haunted me all this time
And it won’t be, it won’t the same
No it won’t be the same once you’ve found out everything
I’ve done wrong
You don’t care what I’ve got to say, cause baby you don’t
feel that way
I stumble in but out of sight, it’s just another Friday
night
You’ve seen it all before, me passed out at your front
door
I’m slurring words just trying to say
You won’t see me around, here no more
Oh darlin’, Oh darlin’
You say that’s how it’s going to be, but I’m too blind to
Just let me stay for one more night
You’ve thrown me out before, tossed my shit from the
third floor
So I’m moving on to better days
You won’t see me around, here no more
Oh darlin’, Oh darlin’
If you break my heart I won’t show my face around
If you break my heart I won’t show my face around this
town
There’s no time to wait,
you packed shit up and you sealed my fate
I guess things are going to change,
there’s nothing left for me to rearrange.
I hope that you’re able to find yourself soon,
just a plate and a spoon in an empty room
It’s not hard to see, you fared better than me
Everything
You’ve taken it all away.
When I leave in the morning and I’m locking the door
I can see all the neighbours they stare at the floor
Our friends they seem busy well they never call
And I haven’t seen you since that trip in the fall
Did I mention the condo it’s still up for sale
Just piled up with flyers and old junk mail
Not so hard to see, you fared better than me
Everything
You’ve taken it all away
Do you think you’ll be gone long?
Everything is in our way
We’ll just sail away, it’s ok
The bank and bills can wait
I see the sun there’s brighter days ahead
A red setting sun to brighter skies ahead
Don’t go, say you won’t be leaving
Hell no, it’s time to start believing
You just need to say that you’ll stay
I’ll flush the booze away
I see the stars there’s brighter nights ahead
The light of the moon to light our lives ahead
Don’t go, say you won’t be leaving
Hell no, it’s time to start believing
It’s time to start believing
It won’t be long, Just wait and see
Til I am gone, To where I want to be
Well these times are tough and I’ve had enough
I yearn for days of much simpler ways
I searched for truth, it lead me to you
I want a different life, let’s leave this place behind
It won’t be long
Just wait and see
We can find our way to a brighter day now
I’ve been around through ups and downs
I’m leaving bills for much greener hills
Tell work I’m gone and keep marching on
I want a different life, to leave this whole world behind
It won’t be long, Just wait and see
We can find our way to a brighter day now
Til I am gone, To where I want to be
We can find our way to a brighter day now
Go Your Own Way
I want a different life, let’s leave this place behind
We want a different life, to leave this whole world
behind
It won’t be long, Just wait and see
We can find our way to a brighter day now
Til I am gone, To where I want to be
We can find our way to a brighter day now
You can’t go, you can’t go, you’re all that I know
You can’t go, you can’t go, you’re all that I know
Don’t go, don’t go, you’re all that I know
Let us now praise a carpenter and the things that he made
And the way that he lived by the tools of his trade
I can still hear his hammer singing ten penny time
Working by the hour till the day he died
Oh he was tough as a crowbar quick as a chisel
Fair as a plane and true as a level
He was straight as a chalkline and right as a rule
He was square with the world he took good care of his tools
[ guitar ]
Oh he worked his hands in wood from the crib to the coffin
With a care and a love you don't see too often
He built boats out of wood big boats working in a shipyard
Mansions on the hill and a birdhouse in the backyard
He was tough as a crowbar...
[ steel - guitar ]
He said anything that's worth cuttin' down a tree for
Is worth doin' right don't the Lord love a two by four
Well they asked him how to do some he'd say just like Noah built the ark
You got to hold your mouth right son and never miss your mark
