Jeff Shapiro launched Real Urban Barbecue, located at 610
Central Avenue #177 in downtown Highland Park, in November of
2010, opened the doors of their second location in Vernon Hills at 1260
South Milwaukee Avenue in July
2012, and proudly opened for business in Oak Brook at 2119 Clearwater Drive off of
York and
22nd Street in

Shapiro has been winning trophies in the BBQ competition circuit for many years under the team name Dr. Deckle and Mr.
