Soon, Adam Lang gets embroiled in a major scandal with international ramifications that reveals how far he was ready to go in order to nurture UK's "special relationship" with the USA. But before this controversy has started, before even he has closed the deal with the publisher, the ghost-writer gets unmistakable signs that the turgid draft he is tasked to put into shape inexplicably constitutes highly sensitive material.

US Secretary of State John Kerry's speech at Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2015 in India
Terming it as a perfect time to tap "incredible possibilities" between India and the US, Secretary of State John Kerry today said programmes like 'Make in India' can be a win-win situation for the entire planet.
Showering fulsome praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit here, Kerry also said he has been very much impressed with his 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' campaign and suggested emulating this "pretty good slogan" at the global as well as at Indo-US levels.
He also referred to Modi's journey "from a young man who sold tea right by the rail road here in Gujarat to the PM's residence on the Race Course Road", while talking about changing political and economic situation in India.
"We join with you celebrating extraordinary new chapter of India that is being written today," he said at the biennial global business summit inaugurated this morning by Modi.
On ties between the two countries, Kerry said, "The moment has never been more right to tap the incredible possibilities between India and the US." He added that the economic partnership is already getting stronger by the day.
"I was very taken during PM Modi's campaign 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas', participation of all for development of all.
That sounds like a pretty good slogan for all of us to adopt, and if we adopt it we can get the job done."
"We will turn Modi's 'Make in India' initiative a win-win opportunity for the planet as a whole," he said.
Kerry also said that President Barack Obama was "very excited" to be the first US President to be the chief guest at India's Republic Day celebrations later this month.
"And he will the first sitting US President to visit India twice while in office," Kerry said.
Referring to the terror attack in Paris last week, Kerry said no act of terror will ever stop "the march of freedom" and the entire world is with the people of France, not just in "anger and outrage" but in "solidarity and commitment" to the cause of confronting extremism. .
Annual trade between goods and services between US and India has grown nearly five-fold since 2000. Bilateral FDI now stands at nearly USD 30 billion, Kerry said.
"...I want to ensure that our economic relationship grows stronger in every respect. We share PM Modi's goal of increasing our countries annual trade five-fold in years ahead and we want to expand our commercial ties ...we can take this relationship to the new heights that we envision," he said.
India and the US have a common responsibility, together with other country partners, to prove that democracies can deliver for their citizens, he said.
Flagging concerns over climate change, Kerry said it was affecting crop production, economy and raising cost of doing business.
"...belive me if it continues down the current trend line we will see climate refugees, fighting each other for water and seeking food and new opportunities," he said.
Stressing sustained energy policy to fight climate change, he said India government has now committed to greatly expanding wind resources, make agricultural systems more resilient and increase its national solar mission five-fold.
"Together we can create an environment where all companies play a leading role in bringing cutting edge technology, equipment and capital know-how not just to India, but countless countries that need this growth and development," he said.

Iran's FM Zarif, US Secretary of State Kerry discuss final deal
Negotiations between Iran and the P-five-plus-one group of countries over a final deal on Iran's nuclear energy program continue in Vienna.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry have discussed the remaining differences over the text of the deal in a meeting. After the talks, Kerry said difficult issues still remained unresolved. Earlier today, Kerry also held a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. On Friday, Foreign Minister Zarif said that Iran knows no deadlines over the agreement. He said reaching what he described as a good deal is possible provided the P5+1 shows a strong political will.''

While his visit was seen as a preamble to president Barack Obama's trip in July 2015, Kenya was seeking to make some ground through it to bolster relations between Washington and Nairobi.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says Syria's President Bashar al-Assad has to step down
Book of Revelation 14:9-12
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

President Park meets visiting U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry
박 대통령, 케리 미 국
We start with at Korea′s top office where President Park Geun-hye has been holding talks with visiting U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
Meeting for the first time in more than a year, the president and the U.S. official are known to have reaffirmed Seoul and Washington′s alliance.
They are likely to have discussed the security situation surrounding the Korean peninsula, especially after North Korea′s recent test launch of a ballistic missile from a submarine.
Multilateral efforts to denuclearize the North and the regime′s human rights abuses are other likely topics on the table.
President Park, who visits Washington in mid-June, is expected to have brought up her upcoming trip.
It′s also likely she talked about ways to improve Korea′s ties with Japan, strained due to Tokyo′s continued attempts to whitewash history.
The U.S. has been stressing the need to bolster security cooperation among the three countries in addressing North Korean threats.
