Rory John Delap (pronounced /dəˈlæp/; born 6 July 1976) is an English born Irish footballer who plays for Stoke City. He has played eleven times for the Republic of Ireland national football team.
Delap started his career at Carlisle United and impressed enough to earn a move to Premiership side Derby County in 1998. He joined Southampton, spending five years on the south coast, before moving back to the north east at Sunderland. He did not spend long on Wearside, joining Stoke City on loan in October 2006. In just his second match for Stoke, against his parent club Sunderland, Delap suffered a broken leg. Despite this, Delap signed a contract at Stoke in January 2007. He went on to become a vital member of the squad and his long throw-ins have helped Stoke to gain promotion to the Premier League and consolidate in the league.
A midfielder by trade, he is renowned for his long throw-in ability. Between the touchlines, he is famed for his fitness and work rate, giving him a valuable role in breaking up opposition play. Delap was a talented javelin thrower in his youth, and was touted to represent Ireland in the Olympics after his throw-ins shot to prominence following Stoke's promotion to the Premier League.

Dean Windass (born 1 April 1969) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Scarborough Athletic. He is best known for his spells at Bradford City and contributing to his hometown team Hull City's promotion to the Premier League in 2008.
Windass started his footballing career as a trainee at his hometown club, Hull City, and signed his first professional contract there. He scored 64 goals in 205 games for Hull, and, when he left, he brought the club a record transfer fee at the time, going on to play in the top divisions in both English and Scottish football. Later in his career, he returned to Hull City, and scored the only goal of the 2008 Football League Championship playoff final to take them to the top flight for the first time in their history.
Windass also had two spells at Bradford City, where he became the club's third-highest scorer of all time. He has also played for Aberdeen, Oxford United, Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, and Oldham Athletic. He is seen as a controversial player, once being sent off three times in a game for Aberdeen, as well as grabbing another opponent's testicles in a match at Bradford City.
Steven McManaman (born 11 February 1972) is a retired English footballer who played as a midfielder, winger and playmaker. Having spent his playing career at two of European football's most successful clubs of the 20th century,Liverpool and Real Madrid, as well as a spell at Manchester City, McManaman is the most decorated English footballer to have played at any foreign club in terms of trophies won overseas.
McManaman was the first British player to win the UEFA Champions League title twice, and was also the first English footballer to win the Champions League with a non-English club. In 2008, he was ranked third in a Top 10 of greatest British footballers to play overseas, just behind Kevin Keegan and John Charles.
He is also notable for a contractual saga in the late 1990s, that resulted in his football transfer becoming one of the most controversial and high profile Bosman ruling related transfers of all time, with the deal resulting in McManaman once becoming the highest paid British player in history, for the years 1999 through 2001.
Robert William "Robbie" Savage (born 18 October 1974) is a football pundit and former Welsh professional footballer who played predominantly as a midfielder. During his career he captained Derby County, and also played for the Welsh national team. He now presents 606 on BBC Radio Five Live on Sunday evenings alongside Mark 'Chappers' Chapman. He appeared on series 9 of Strictly Come Dancing.
He gained notoriety for his playing style. In 2008, the Daily Mail labelled him as the dirtiest player in Premier League history, based on numbers of yellow cards received, though he has since been surpassed as the player with the most Premier League yellow cards by Lee Bowyer.
Savage was born in Wrexham in October 1974 to Colin and Valerie Savage. He attended Ysgol Bryn Alyn in Gwersyllt, until he completed his GCSE studies in July 1991. On leaving school, Savage joined Manchester United as an apprentice.
Savage is married to Sarah. The couple have two sons. His father was diagnosed with Pick's disease, a dementia-type illness, when he was in his mid-50s, and died in 2012.
