Italy is the only Western country that has take one of the most courageous steps other countries around the world dream of doing, but fear to act because of political correctness. Italy is the only Western country besides the Vatican that does not not recognize Islam as a religion in its territory. This is a step Italy has taken due to the fact that Islam is not compatible with its way of life, Muslim immigrants themselves are making it impossible for the Italian authorities to recognize the so called religion of peace as one of the religions of the country. Islam's view on polygamy, child marriages, honor killings, women's rights, gay rights, minority rights and other universal rights many of us take for granted makes it even more convincing for Italy passed legislation denying Islam's religious tax status. Italy has not failed Muslims; Muslims have failed Italy, just like they failed their other host countries.
Italy has banned Islam's religious tax status, why can't we?

Artist Genre : Progressive/Power Metal
Lyrical themes: Fantasy, Life
Years active: 1991-2002
Release Title : A New Religion? (1998)
File Type : 320 kb/s mp3
Side note: Athena is the goddess of wisdom in Greek mythology.
This time Fabio Lione is Athena’s vocalist and he sure did bring some influences from his other bands. The new age feel of Inside, the Moon are gone and have been replaced with neo-classical elements and keyboard effects from Labyrinth. The pure prog has turned into a mixture of power and prog metal. Parts remind of Rhapsody, others of Stratovarius. On the first Rhapsody album (that was recorded one year before A New Religion) Fabio sounded just like the stereotype of an Italian singer. He didn’t exactly lack power, but didn’t have it either. He sung with a conspicuously annoying accent, ended up sounding a little bit whiny. Here, he doesn’t. I haven’t heard all his albums, but this sure is one of his better vocal performances. Accent is gone, power has arrived. He switches between the high-pitched kind of vocals and lower ones, always with emotion, always with a beautiful freshness. On a few songs he experiments with a more yelled way to sing which I’ve heard a few finding annoying. Though it isn’t as good as the rest, and he ends up sounding like a very weak version of Lordi’s vocalist, I haven’t really got a problem with that.
The music is melodic as one could expect with a drummer who seems to love his double bass. Even so, he’s quite reasonable. The bass is strange. It’s not the ordinary string picking here, no, instead is the guy playing independently, like a darker guitar with other notes. This leads to some occasional very interesting parts. The keyboards are always present – but in the background, just adding atmosphere, flavour to the compositions. Very minimalistically implemented, far from striking. It takes a few listens to even notice it’s there. Even if it’s the vocals that are the most prominent parts of Athena’s music, the guitars aren’t far behind. They are crunchy, they are melodic, and they are heavy. There is riffing, there are leads. But there are no solos. Athena doesn’t need them; their sound pictures are fulfilled even without them, no need for flashiness here. The members accompany each other in a very nice way, but yet something’s missing. I keep telling me that this is better than most prog I’ve heard, better than a lot of power metal. But it’s not enough. Where’s that spark named kick-ass? A New Religion is great for prog fans, but doesn’t stand out enough for the rest of us. For us, it’s just very good.

As legend has it, Rome, Italy, was founded by the twin brothers, Romulus and Remus, in 700 B.C. The former Caput Mundi, or Capital of the World, sits beneath Palatine Hill, where the ruins of its original incarnation are open for exploration.
No Rome tour is complete without stopping by the remains of the Temple of Saturn and Arch of Septimus, both located in the Roman Forum. Get in touch with your inner gladiator and stop by the Colosseum, a relic of Roman bloodsports and perhaps the most recognizable element of the city.
Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure you’ll return to Rome one day; don’t toss in two coins unless you’re ready to fall in love with a Roman. Continue your Rome sightseeing in St. Peter’s Square, home of St. Peter’s Basilica. The world’s largest church, designed by Michelangelo, is both a remarkable structure and a tribute to faith. You can look down from the famous dome to the Holy Square, which is usually filled with the faithful looking to obtain a blessing from the Pope. After this, it’s just a few steps to restaurants filled with Italian food. Forget coming back to Rome – you’ll never want to leave.

Travel video about destination Roma in Italy.
Roma Aeterna, eternal city and ancient centre of the world.
The Piazza Navona is situated in one of the Italian capital's most beautiful squares in a city that has always been a dream destination for travelers from all over the world. Three large fountains adorn the large oval square that was built above the ruins of a Domitian stadium that dates back to the 3rd century A.D.
The Romans had a special regard for fountains, the most famous of which is the Fontana Di Trevi. It was designed by Nicolo Salvi for the façade of the Palazzo Poli.
The Via Appia Antica was the most important street in ancient Rome. It connected the southern area with the main city and even today, one can walk over its ancient cobblestones.
Pope Gregory XIII had the Palazzo Del Quirinale built as his summer residence but it was not long after that the Italian monarchs acquired it as their Renaissance palace. Today it is the residence of Italy's President and the daily changing of the guards ceremony is still a popular attraction.
The 17th century St. Peter's Square is the most beautiful square in the world and is situated in the centre of the Vatican, an autonomous Church State in the heart of Rome that also contains the imposing and breathtaking Petersdom, the largest Christian church in the world.
The allure of this city lies in its combination of chaos and joie de vivre, elegance and creativity. Rome is a complete work of art!

Come join me on my trip to the beautiful city of Venice in Italy, which is considered t be one of the greatest tourist attractions in the world.
Veneice is a city in the north eastern part of the italian country right at the Adriatic within the province of Venetia and is often called La Serenissima.
The city counts 270.884 inhabitants, with only 62.000 people living in the historic centre, called centro storico and 30.000 more on other island in the lagoon. There are more than 100 islands in the lagoon of Venice.
The republic of Venice has been an important political and economic power in europa for about 1000 years, but lost its independence in 1897, when Napoleon set foot on the well known St. Mark's Square and forced the supreme authority to surrender.
Today the leading branch it tourism. In 2006 over 14.000.000 people visited the city to witness magnificent sights like the St. Mark's Basilica, the Campanile or the beautiful Rialto Bridge.

when I first saw the "Under the tucsan Sun trailer" I knew that I need to discover Toscana or Tuscany as the Italian folk says (Travel Channel Tuscany)... today after visiting Rome, Bologna, Genova, Sardinia, Florence, Verona, Venezia, Firenze, Pisa, Siena, Livorno, Padova, Viareggio, Lucca, Volterra, Chianti Barberino val de Elsa and San Gimignano ...so I decided to create this travel guide video for you! And I'm pretty excited to guide you through one of the most beautiful countries of Europe. In this video I introduce you Tuscany in Italy-The Charmed Land and the Dolce Vita Under the Tuscan Sun.
To sum up here are 10 things you should do in Tuscany:
1: sleep in a typical Tuscan Villa or Middle age like castle in Tuscany like "Villa Pitiana"
2: visit traditional italian cities like "Barberino val de Elsa" and enjoy the dolce vita
3: enjoy the view: like me in San Gimignano, Italy's Towering Hill Town
4: breath in the culture, make a guided tour in Florence (Firenze) and explore the Galleria dell Academia, make a walk on Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, check out the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the Baptistery, or discover the view from thr Campanile - Bell Tower. There are so many tourist attractions in Florence...you won't believe your eyes when crossing the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Oh and make sure to visit Boboli Garden and Pitti Palace formal seat of the Medici family. I fall in love with it as you can see in my video
5-6: Taste Tuscany: discover the Tuscan kitchen and delicious italian gastronomy. Tuscany Food and Wine Tours are famous...you should try tuscan receipts and attend a vine testing on the Tuscan hills..
7: Italy is the home of fast sport cars, like Maranello :Ferrari. My boyfriend chose to make a Lamborghini gallardo e-gear test.
8: Visit Pisa and take a photo holding the Pisa tower (Torre di Pisa)
9: Beach is waiting! If you are in Italy make sure to take some days to relax on the beach. We spent some time in Viareggio
10: realize that you need to come back to learn more about the 100 faces of Italy

The gritty maze of the medieval city that makes up the core of Genoa is both beauty and the beast. The grandeur and heritage of this once great trading city lives side by side with modern vice and decrepitude. The odious smelling alleys give way to modern and chic restaurants and shops. Genoa is one of the most difficult of cities to describe and is very different from more generally travelled Italian cities like Rome, Florence or Venice.

Take a tour of Top 10 Travel Attractions of Rome, Italy - part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
Hey, this is your travel host, Naomi. I would like to show you the top 10 attractions of Rome.
Number 10: Trastevere, a perfect opportunity to get away from tourists. If you want to experience the local Roman day to day life, you will find it in the distinct Trastevere neighborhood.
Number 9: Mausoleum of Hadrian. Constructed by the Roman emperor Hadrian for himself, the building has served many functions.
Number 8: Roman Forum, among the most significant ruins in Rome today. During the time of the Roman Empire this was a bustling city center with markets, banks and government buildings.
Number 7: Spanish Steps, probably the most important steps in the world. They draw visitors from all over.
Number 6: Piazza Navona, this is a large and popular square. About 1900 years ago this was the site of a stadium which was later converted into a piazza.
Number 5: Piazza del Popolo, another historic and lively piazza of Rome. It is surrounded by beautiful structures. In Italian, Piazza del Popolo literally means people's square.
Number 4: Trevi Fountain, a grand fountain in the heart of Rome. You will not find a more gorgeous fountain anywhere else.
Number 3: Pantheon. Constructed nearly 2,000 years ago, Pantheon is one of the most well-known historical buildings of Rome. You will find it to be remarkably preserved.
Number 2: Vatican. It has been the home of the Pope for hundreds of years. Even though it is situated within Rome, Vatican is an independent country, in fact, the smallest in the world.
Number 1: Colosseum. No visit to Rome is complete without a visit to the Colosseum, the site for the gladiator fights. It is perhaps the most important symbol of the mighty Roman Empire.
Keep watching our travel series. Ciao.

Travel video about destination Napoli.
Napoli is the capital of Campania in southern Italy where hustle and bustle combines with serenity and joie de vivre. The Centro Storico Monumentale is located around the harbour and the Piazza Del Plebiscito embodies both grandeur and vastness, in contrast to the narrow confines of the old town. Close to the harbour is the mighty Castel Nuovo, its graceful entrance arch seemingly hemmed-in by two awkward-looking towers. Its construction began during the reign of Charles The First but Alfons Of Aragon subsequently had the castle completely rebuilt. From the centre of the town a small causeway leads to the tiny island of Borgo Santa Lucia. The island is dominated by a building which in ancient times was the residence of Lucullus, namely the Castel Dell´Ovo, the oldest fortress in Naples. The Via Partenope, with its magnificent buildings and luxury hotels on the coast near Santa Lucia, developed by land reclamation in the nineteenth century. A walk along the Caracciolo coastal road towards Mergellina passes the Parco Communale with palm trees, sculptures and fountains. Measuring four square kilometres, Procida is the smallest island off Naples, densely populated and with a long history and the picturesque Marina Grande at the Cattolocio Ferry Port typifies relaxed island life. Ischia, the island of Titan Tiphoios, is the largest of the three islands in the Gulf Of Naples, each one now being a very popular tourist destination. "A piece of heaven that fell to Earth”, that is how the Neapolitans rightly refer to their beautiful city and its surroundings.

In Heresy, Culture, and Religion in Early Modern Italy leading scholars from Italy and the United States offer a fresh and nuanced image of the religious reform movements on the Italian peninsula in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. United in their conviction that religious ideas can only be fully understood in relation to the particular social, cultural, and political contexts in which they develop, these scholars explore a wide range of protagonists from popes, bishops, and inquisitors to humanists and merchants, to artists, jewelers, and nuns. What emerges is a story of negotiations, mediations, compromises, and of shifting boundaries between heresy and orthodoxy. This book is essential reading for all students of the history of Christianity in early modern Europe.

Fascism was the first and prime instance of a modern political religion. Rereading signs, symbols, cults, and myths, Italy's leading scholar of Fascism offers a new history of Italian nationalism as a civic religion, albeit in its extreme form, and of Italian Fascism as a vital catalyst for contemporary mass politics. Emilio Gentile decodes Italy culturally, going beyond political and social dimensions that explain Italy's Fascist past in terms of class, or the cynicism of its leaders, or modernizing and expansionist ambitions. By looking back at the Risorgimento's civic and moral renewal of the Italians as a free people educated in the faith and worship of a "national religion," at the jarring countereffects of the secularized nation-state not trusting mass political mobilization, and at Fascism's retrieval of history from Rome, the French Revolution, and Romanticism, Gentile reconstructs the cultural configurations of a sacred politics. He shows how Mussolini used the concept of propaganda as a project in civic pedagogy, and how the Fascists thus cultivated a new consciousness that filled the void left by the decline of traditional religion. Fascism mobilized the masses through spectacle and public ceremony in an effort to conquer and shape the mentality and customs of a still emerging nation.

ITALY: ROME: FORUM ON HOMOSEXUALITY & RELIGION

Jacques Gaillot, a French bishop who was stripped of his diocese by Pope John Paul II five years ago for challenging the Catholic church's stand on homosexuality and priestly celibacy, criticised the Vatican on Monday for opposing this week's Gay Pride events in Rome.
The bishop came to Rome to participate in a forum on homosexuality and religion but he decided to honour Vatican wishes asking him not to take part.
Although he did not take an active role in the conference, he did take advantage of the opportunity to publicly express his disappointment that the Vatican has opposed Gay Pride events in Rome during this Holy Jubilee Year.
While confirming that he had turned down the invitation to the forum, in line with the Pope's wishes, Gaillot was still keen to express opinions which will not please the Vatican.
He said the Vatican's attempts to persuade the city of Rome to cancel Gay Pride events for 2000 had convinced he had to travel to Italy to show his support for the gay community.
SOUNDBITE: (French)
"I came to Rome because I was invited and since they (the gay community) had problems with the Vatican and with the city council, I really couldn't refuse. I came for them."
SUPERCAPTION: Bishop Jacques Gaillot
He said it was a shame that the Vatican was trying to keep the homosexual community away from Rome in this symbolic year.
SOUNDBITE: (French)
"I think it was a good idea for them to come to Rome for the Jubilee and I think the Vatican should have hosted in a friendly way those that were not invited."
SUPERCAPTION: Bishop Jacques Gaillot
The Pope asked Bishop Gaillot not to attend Monday's conference.
A request he has complied with - but turned to his advantage.
SOUNDBITE: (French)
"I was surprised, I wasn't expecting this intervention by the Pope, but I obeyed because it's important to me to be in communion with the Pope. I think the Pope helped me out. He made the event. Many journalists are now interested in what happened. So thank-you to the Pope."
SUPERCAPTION: Bishop Jacques Gaillot
Gaillot also criticised the Vatican's position on homosexuality, a position that teaches that homosexual acts are sinful.
And he has his own ideas about why the Church takes such a firm stand on the issue.
SOUNDBITE: (French)
"The Church is scared of homosexuality because it touches sexuality. It's easier to talk about the unemployed, about foreigners. Homosexuality comes to interrogate it's own equality (the Church's)."
SUPERCAPTION: Bishop Jacques Gaillot
Franco Grillini, Honorary President of the Italian gays' association Arcigay, who was present at the forum on homosexuality and religion, also criticised the Vatican's position.
SOUNDBITE: (Italian)
"The Catholic Church is not united. The male autocracy that governs the Vatican is creating enormous disapproval, first of all inside the Church and especially between the Church and Catholic people."
SUPERCAPTION Franco Grillini, Honorary President of Arcigay
He said the Catholic Church was woefully behind the times and out of step with modern culture.
SOUNDBITE: (Italian)
"Firstly, the Catholic Church still lives in a medieval culture. It wasn't able to open itself to modernity and to understand the issues of modernity. Homosexuality is a modern issue, homosexual couples and homosexual love have become a mass issue especially in the past 30 years. All this found the Church completely unprepared. Secondly, the ecclesiastical culture of this Pope in particular is entirely based on sexual morality."

Gay Pride week began on Saturday and runs through July 8, when a march is scheduled through Rome.

Encircled by a 2-mile border with Italy the city covers just over 100 acres, making it one-eighth the size of New York's Central Park.

POPE FRANCIS to RESIGN in 2016 ? Part of a Hidden Agenda?
Last week I went to visit two of my most trusted sources in the Vatican, one a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre and the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Sylvester Pope, the other, a clergy member of the Vatican Secretariat of States, the oldest dicastery in the Roman Curia, which is the central papal governing bureaucracy of the Roman Catholic Church. In two separate meetings the present situation of the Church was discussed, as well as the ongoing Synod of Bishops which will terminate on the 24th of October 2015.
The information that surfaced during these meetings was shocking to say the least. Two separate reliable sources within the Vatican stated that Pope Francis will resign next year.
This will occur during his pastoral visit to his nation of Argentina, and the two neighboring countries of Chile and Uruguay, in the period of time that coincides with the bicentennial of the 1816 Argentine Declaration of Independence.
The date was selected with care to avoid interference, as the Argentinian government desires this event to transpire after the 2015 presidential elections.
It has been speculated that the Pope would potentially canonize Jose Gabriel del Rosario Brochero during this visit to Argentina, never imagining this to be the moment that Pope Francis has chosen with his fellow Jesuits to end his papacy.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio wishes to retire in Argentina, not the Vatican, after completing his service as a Jesuit and Pope to the New World Order.
He has successfully promoted Agenda 2030 (carbon taxes etc), the breakdown of family values, as well as the sanctity of the Cross. He has supported growing Mexican immigration; as it makes Catholicism stronger in the US, the European refugee crisis; which is instrumental in destroying the birthplace of Christian civilization, ready to be replaced by Crislam and a One World Religion. A job well done for this puppet of the New World Order.
Pope Francis warned bishops and cardinals of the Catholic Church, to avoid being taken in by “the hermuneutic of conspiracy,” confirming the growing fear of the Church towards the spread of truth in the information age.
The dark secrets of the Vatican are being exposed more and more, and Pope Francis is getting nervous. Pope catholic religion god news italy "new world order" media entertainment u.s. "united states" america usa theory 2015 2016 leadership leader humanity church life elite agenda meeting history historic change future Rome speech book author society social "social media" truth "breaking news" event events "leo zagami" europe european wealth wealthy politics support "elite nwo agenda" bilderberg 2016 alex jones infowars rant crazy underground bunkers gerald celente lindsey williams david icke conspiracy theory illuminati secrets hidden secret society jesuit
In fact, the last few days of the Synod, Pope Francis was questioned by influential conservative Bishops for his recent visit to the US. In their eyes it was a complete failure that alienated traditional Catholics in favor of a highly questionable liberal communistic approach that of course was crafted to comply with the New Word Order agenda.
On top of all this, there has been an unprecedented move, orchestrated by the Vatican gay lobby in open partnership with various LGBT Christian Activists to actually Lobby Bishops during the Synod, with the agenda of opening up the Church to the gay reality present in the clergy.
Two conferences were arranged in Rome for this purpose by various Jesuits, one took place Friday, October 2nd, at the Angelicum, the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, the other on October 3rd, at the Centro Pellegrini “Santa Teresa Couderc,” in Via Vincenzo Ambrosio with the title, “Ways of Love.” It became not only the foundation meeting for the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics, but also the place chosen for the “Coming out” stunt of Father Charamsa, arranged by the famous homosexual spin doctor, Emilio Sturla Turno, who is said to be sentimentally involved with a Israeli intelligence asset, demonstrating the many hidden interests involved in this operation.
It was during the “Ways of Love” conference in front of a crowd of around 80 people that Bishop José Raúl Vera Lopez, of Saltillo, Mexico, a liberal Dominican, seated next to the Jesuits: Pedro Labrin from Chile, and Pino Piva from Italy, made the astonishing statement: “The gays are the saviours of the Church.”

The Vatican City is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome. Encircled by a 2-mile border with Italy the city covers just over 100 acres, making it one-eighth the size of New York's Central Park. Vatican City is governed as an absolute monarchy with the Pope as its head. And is one of the most sacred places in Christendom. The Vatican mints its own Euros, prints its own stamps, issues passports and license plates, operates media outlets and has its own flag and anthem. The Vatican also has its own bank.
The Vatican bank serves thousands of Catholic charities, religious orders and dioceses around the world, in addition to roughly 500 people living in the tiny city-state. It has some 33,400 accounts and about $8 billion in assets. Yet the Vatican bank's murky finances, which has been suspected for years of being a channel for the laundering of mob profits, perhaps has a skeleton in the closet. In this movie we look into financial scandals that have always plagued the Bank of Vatican.

Liberal democracy is a form of government in which representative democracy operates under the principles of liberalism, i.e. protecting the rights of the individual, which are generally enshrined in law. It is characterised by fair, free, and competitive elections between multiple distinct political parties, a separation of powers into different branches of government, the rule of law in everyday life as part of an open society, and the equal protection of human rights, civil rights, civil liberties, and political freedoms for all persons. To define the system in practice, liberal democracies often draw upon a constitution, either formally written or uncodified, to delineate the powers of government and enshrine the social contract. After a period of sustained expansion throughout the 20th century, liberal democracy became the predominant political system in the world.
A liberal democracy may take various constitutional forms: it may be a constitutional republic, such as France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, or the United States, or a constitutional monarchy, such as Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada, or the United Kingdom. It may have a presidential system (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the United States), a semi-presidential system (France), or a parliamentary system (Australia, Canada, India, Pakistan, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom).

Gold resists attacks by individual acids, but it can be dissolved by aqua regia (nitro-hydrochloric acid), so named because it dissolves gold. Gold also dissolves in alkaline solutions of cyanide, which have been used in mining. It dissolves in mercury, forming amalgam alloys; it is insoluble in nitric acid, which dissolves silver and base metals, a property that has long been used to confirm the presence of gold in items, giving rise to the term acid test.
This metal has been a valuable and highly sought-after precious metal for coinage, jewelry, and other arts since long before the beginning of recorded history. In the past, the Gold standard has been implemented as a monetary policy, but it was widely supplanted by fiat currency starting in the 1930s. The last gold certificate and gold coin currencies were issued in the U.S. in 1932. In Europe, most countries left the gold standard with the start of World War I in 1914 and, with huge war debts, did not return to gold as a medium of exchange. The value of gold is rooted in its medium rarity, easily handling, easy smelting, non-corrosiveness, distinct color and non-reactiveness to other elements; qualities most other metals lack.

The economic history of the United Kingdom deals with the economic history of Britain after 1700.[1]
Britain led the industrial revolution and dominated the European and world economy during the 19th century. It was the major innovator in machinery such as steam engines (for pumps, factories, railway locomotives and steamships), textile equipment, and tool-making. It invented the railway system and built much of the equipment used by other nations. As well it was a leader in international and domestic banking, entrepreneurship, and trade. It built a global British Empire. After 1840 it abandoned mercantilism and practised "free trade," with no tariffs or quotas or restrictions. The powerful Royal Navy protected its global holdings, while its legal system provided a system for resolving disputes inexpensively.
Between 1870 and 2000, economic output per head of population in Britain rose by 500 per cent, generating a significant rise in living standards. However, from the late 19th century onwards Britain experienced a relative economic decline as other nations such as the United States and Germany caught up. In 1870, Britain's output per head was the second highest in the world after Australia. By 1914, it was fourth highest. In 1950, British output per head was still 30 per cent ahead of the six founder members of the EEC, but within 50 years it had been overtaken by many European and several Asian countries.
