Plot
The mailmen, Sime, is one of the favorite people of a small town, on an island in the middle of the sea. Sime is very intelligent and the locals have high regards for him because he is unusually well versed in all the events and destinies in the small town. He knows the weather forecast, what winds will blow, what the sermon on the Sunday mass will be. For all the locals Sime is an untouchable genius. However, unlike the locals, the viewers soon find out that the Sime's ingenuity is based on his reading of the mail. Fascinated by other people's destinies, Sime has perfected a way for opening letters and keeping complete records on the people living on the island. He keeps a precise track of who gets what kinds of letters, and that gives him insight into discrete and private affairs of people. One day a beautiful woman named Dea moves into town, and all the men try and court her. However, Dea is keeping some kind of a secret and she completely ignores all their attempts, also charming attempts by the mailman Sime. Suddenly, by chain of events, she completely by accident finds out about the mailman's "hobby" i.e. that he reads other people's mails. At that time she herself starts receiving letters from a mysterious Klara who she starts an intensive correspondence with. The mailman, naturally, reads Dea's mails and he's putting the "puzzle" of her life together. He plans a courtship based on the things he finds out about her. He likes Dea very much so he gives his best to win her over (naturally, he does it by using privileged information he acquires by reading her letters). After a short time Dea "falls" for his charms and everything seems idyllic. However with time, town's people turn against Sime claiming that Dea "stole him away". Sime is not concerned about it because the more time he spends with Dea the more he likes her. However what is Dea really like?

In 1922 New York City, Millie Dillmount and Miss Dorothy Brown are just two of the girls living at the Priscilla Hotel for Single Young Ladies run by Mrs. Meers. Orphaned, Miss Dorothy, just recently arrived, is a naive, old-fashioned girl from a seemingly privileged background who has aspirations to be a stage actress. From more modest means, Millie, in New York for three months, used to be old fashioned, but now has a new modern sensibility and look to match, complete with bobbed hair and dresses with hemlines above the knee. Included in this new modern sensibility is Millie's goal of getting a job as a stenographer, with a quick promotion to being her wealthy boss' "Mrs.". Love is not to factor into the equation. She believes she's found the right employer in the form of chisel-jawed Trevor Graydon of the Sincere Trust Insurance Company. Millie's pursuit of Mr. Graydon is despite the fact that Mr. Graydon sees her as one of the boys, he has old fashioned sensibilities, and Millie herself has a mutual attraction to another boy named Jimmy Smith. Although she likes Jimmy, Millie feels that Jimmy, as a paper clip salesman with an overwhelming happy-go-lucky attitude, is not driven enough to be husband material. That doesn't stop Jimmy's pursuit of Millie. In her association with Jimmy, Millie meets flamboyant wealthy Renaissance woman Muzzy Van Hossmere. Jimmy's father once worked as Muzzy's gardener. Originally from humble means much like Millie, Muzzy tries to convince Millie that true love will lead to happiness, as that is what happened when she met the now deceased Mr. Van Hossmere who she had no idea was rich. In other goings-on among this new circle of friends, Miss Dorothy leaves New York without a word to anyone except Mrs. Meers. Thinking this situation rather odd, Millie connects Miss Dorothy's leaving with that of other girls previously living at the Priscilla Hotel. With Mr. Graydon's help, Jimmy and Millie try to find out what happened to Miss Dorothy.

Chinese Tea Eggs Recipe: What you need: 6 - 12 Eggs 6 Cups of water 2 tsp of salt 2 Star Anise 1 stick of Cinnamon 2 bags of red/black tea 1 bag of Woolong tea 1 cup of soy sauce 4 cloves of garlic (optional) 2 tsp of Cumin powder (optional) 1 tbs cayenne pepper (optional) Directions: Cook the eggs buy bringing them to boil then boil for additional 5 min. Take out eggs and put in cold water to cool for 1 min Crack all the egg shells gently Put eggs into pot with all ingredients and water Bring to boil on medium heat for 20 min Turn off heat and let eggs cool in broth for 20 min Turn heat on low and simmer eggs for 1 hour Turn off heat and let eggs sit in broth and cool for at least 1 hour before eating. For best tasting eggs, let eggs sit in broth overnight. When storing the eggs, keep them in the broth. Add the lemon zest and tea bags to hot water and stir. Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and the zest and allow the tea to cool completely. For sweetened iced tea, add hot water to honey and stir until the honey is completely dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool completely. In a pitcher combine ice and lemon slices. Add tea and honey mixture and stir thoroughly. Enjoy!
