Alive! is an album by American jazz guitarist Grant Green featuring a performance recorded at the Cliche Lounge in Newark, New Jersey in 1970 and released on the Blue Note label. The album was Green's first official live recording. The CD reissue added three bonus tracks.
The Allmusic review by Steve Huey awarded the album 4 stars and stated "Alive! is the hardest funk LP Grant Green recorded during the later phase of his career... this is the most convincing and consistent Green had been as a funkster and, while nearly all of his albums from the early '70s feature at least some worthwhile material for acid jazz and beat-sampling junkies, Alive! is probably the best place to start".

Alive (Russian: Живой, Zhivoy) is a 2006 Russian film directed by Aleksandr Veledinsky.
As a young soldier Kir, returns to normal life after being injured in Chechnya, he is visited by the ghosts of two fallen comrades who console him over his emotional and physical trauma.
After an engagement in the Chechen War, the remains of a defeated regiment are retreating into the woods. Several soldiers carry their comrade, who has been wounded in the leg. Two intelligence officers decide to stay and sacrifice themselves to halt the advancing rebels. The main character, Kir, finds himself in a hospital, his leg amputated. He had gone to serve in Chechnya under contract in order to earn money to get married. But when he returned from the war, he realizes that he can not enjoy a normal life in peacetime. Part of his heart remained in the Caucasus mountains, together with his dead friends. He does not understand why he survived.
After leaving the hospital, Kir tries to get disability compensation, but an unscrupulous military official demands a percentage of his compensation. Kir agrees, gets the money and buys a sabre. He meets an official, who agrees to do everything for Kir and send him to the sanatorium for rehabilitation, but only for a bribe. Kir grabs his sword and kills the clerk. He comes home and the ghosts of two dead fellow officers appear to him. They try to help him to deal with the situation and answer the questions to which there are no answers. Kir only feels good with them, but they condemn his behavior and become his conscience.
Greatest is a 1990 compilation album by the rock group The Go-Go's from California, United States. The record, which represents the first best-of album by the Go-Go's, includes most of the hits and stand-out tracks from the band's first three studio albums, 1981 Beauty and the Beat, 1982 Vacation, and 1984 Talk Show, only omitting two minor hit singles, "He's So Strange" and "Yes or No".
The collection does not include any new songs, except for a re-recording of the 1960s cover version of "Cool Jerk" (the 'original' version of the cover was already on the Go-Go's second album, Vacation), which was also released as the one single from the compilation, reaching #60 in the UK Singles Chart, in 1991, this way becoming the second Go-Go's song to ever enter the British charts (the third and highest UK hit from the band would eventually be "The Whole World Lost Its Head", peaking at #29, from their second Greatest Hits album, 1994 Return to the Valley of The Go-Go's).
Greatest is a greatest hits compilation album released in 1998 by the band Duran Duran.
Greatest was an update of the 1989 tenth anniversary compilation album, Decade: Greatest Hits. The new release included songs from their eponymous debut album through 1997's Medazzaland. The album includes all 14 songs featured in Decade: Greatest Hits, plus "New Moon on Monday" and four singles from the '90s, however both "Save a Prayer" and "Rio" are presented in their shorter US versions in order to fit on a single CD whereas they appeared in their full versions on the former compilation. For some unknown reason, "Perfect Day" (from 1995 album, Thank You) wasn't added to the album. "My Own Way" and "Careless Memories" were originally going to be in the album but due to the favor of the later singles. ("Serious" and "Eletric Barbarella")
The album was released by EMI after parting ways with the band after the disastrous Medazzaland album release in 1997, and marked the first of many releases designed to capitalise on the band's extensive EMI-controlled back catalogue.
Man is an album from British musician Francis Dunnery, released in 2001. It saw Francis experimenting with new sounds, most notably programmed drum beats - a departure from what had been the norm in his studio work up to this point. Vocalist/keyboardist Erin Moran (of A Girl Called Eddy) features heavily on the album.

Oman (i/oʊˈmɑːn/ oh-MAAN; Arabic: عمان ʻUmān pronounced [ˈuːmaːn]), officially the Sultanate of Oman (Arabic: سلطنة عُمان Salṭanat ʻUmān), is an Arab country in the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Holding a strategically important position at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, the nation is bordered by the United Arab Emirates to the northwest, Saudi Arabia to the west, and Yemen to the southwest, and shares marine borders with Iran and Pakistan. The coast is formed by the Arabian Sea on the southeast and the Gulf of Oman on the northeast. The Madha and Musandam exclaves are surrounded by the UAE on their land borders, with the Strait of Hormuz (which it shares with Iran) and Gulf of Oman forming Musandam's coastal boundaries.
From the late 17th century, the Omani Sultanate was a powerful empire, vying with Portugal and Britain for influence in the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean. At its peak in the 19th century, Omani influence or control extended across the Strait of Hormuz to modern-day Iran and Pakistan, and as far south as Zanzibar (today part of Tanzania, also former capital). As its power declined in the 20th century, the sultanate came under the influence of the United Kingdom. Historically, Muscat was the principal trading port of the Persian Gulf region. Muscat was also among the most important trading ports of the Indian Ocean. Oman's official religion is Islam.

[VERSE 1: EST]
Landscapin, mentally shapin
Get the gist, don't miss what I'm sayin
Hilltop bringin in the bass drop
Soakin up saps like a household mop
Out to romp, stomp, so you're no comp
You try to rock, we bump, the whole house jump
Gotta bust a sucker or else it gets borin
Just like you people need your coffee in the mornin
And every word is honestly stated
You get it not synthetic or fabricated
Keep your eyes open, I got you on a scope
Know it like a poet cause I'm diddy-do-dope
Fly like a falcon, strong like a stallion
Now all I need is a gold medaillon
Providin small time suckers with info
EST's the unusual fellow
[DJ Woody Wood cuts up]
(Definitely the best thing that's happening)
[VERSE 2: EST]
Yes it's the ES, the man you can't understand
Much funky on your FM band
The brown-eyed bombshell rockin you well
Disignitin all bitin and frontin as well
We propel our records to sell
Like a speedy Lamborghini we're bound to excel
Given the chance to shake your pants is somethin that you'll never forget
I make you wake up in a cold sweat
Drippin with the fluid that wets you when you do it
Know this like Otis when your style is bogus
Love to party with a girlie with a dope body
Gotta bite my tongue, I'm so high-strung
ES the name, knockin boots is the game
If you ain't a queen I love ya just the same
My name is ESTizinizm, cold gettin bizinizm
Rallyin the funky dope razzamatizm
Hit you with the hardest, comin with the clarity
Skyin over suckers, defyin all laws of gravity
The style of my hair like a new wave afro
EST's the unusual fellow
(He's too good to be true)
[VERSE 3: EST]
With a ultra fresh topic for this here recital
With another one of those crazy fresh titles
It'll be shakin up and it'll be takin up
Space in the race cause the sinister'll crank it up
EST is the one that's so original
The boy so live should have his name on your cereal
Instead of Swatch you wear a sinister watch
Worn by the suckers who be swearin they clock
Cause ain't nobody takin my place, you know what I mean?
Instead of Guess you wear some ES jeans
Tight around your putang, so when you shake that thang
Everybody wants you shake it again
Feel it shuttin up in my bones
Magically moved by the microphone
At first I just twitch then I get that itch
And real quick you see me flickin up the on-switch
Sweatin like a dog in front of sell-out crowds
Dippin em all in the 3-D style
No matter how you hype up your twelve inch, they don't get it
They want my album, you gotta deal with it
You coulda had yours out but now I took ya
Still ain't got one out cause you're chasin funky hookers
And all the real slimmies jammin off my flow
EST's the unusual fellow
