Tomorrow Chicago

An overnight in a small Texas town. My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures. In this video I leave my camp at Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma. I drive a few hours to a small town in Texas called Holliday. I find a place called Stonewall Jackson Camp #249 and decide to try to sleep there over night. I found this camp on https://freecampsites.net/ There was no information on the site so I thought I'd give it a try. A couple traveling in a small van showed up to camp there also so it gave me a little confidence. I though I might get a knock from the police when a car rolled in early morning but they drove off after a minute. Got a chance to fly the drone there. Thanks for watching!

Road Song
Road Song is the twentieth album by guitarist Wes Montgomery, released in 1968. It reached number one on the Billboard Jazz album chart and number 39 on the R&B chart. It also reached number 94 on the Billboard 200. It was his final recording before his death of a heart attack on June 15, 1968.
Reception
In his Allmusic review, music critic Scott Yanow wrote "The great guitarist sticks to simple melody statements (with a lot of octaves thrown in) while backed by Don Sebesky's unimaginative arrangements for an orchestra; commercially the combination was a big success… this strictly for-the-money effort can be safely passed by."

On the Road
On the Road is a novel by American writer Jack Kerouac, based on the travels of Kerouac and his friends across America. It is considered a defining work of the postwar Beat and Counterculture generations, with its protagonists living life against a backdrop of jazz, poetry, and drug use. The novel, published in 1957, is a roman à clef, with many key figures in the Beat movement, such as William S. Burroughs (Old Bull Lee), Allen Ginsberg (Carlo Marx) and Neal Cassady (Dean Moriarty) represented by characters in the book, including Kerouac himself as the narrator Sal Paradise.
The idea for On the Road, Kerouac's second novel, was formed during the late 1940s in a series of notebooks, and then typed out on a continuous reel of paper during three weeks in April 1951. It was first published by Viking Press in 1957. After several film proposals dating from 1957, the book was finally made into a film, On the Road (2012), produced by Francis Ford Coppola and directed by Walter Salles.

In this video I leave my camp at Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma. I drive a few hours to a small town in Texas called Holliday. I find a place called Stonewall Jackson Camp #249 and decide to try to sleep there over night. I found this camp on https://freecampsites.net/ There was no information on the site so I thought I'd give it a try. A couple traveling in a small van showed up to camp there also so it gave me a little confidence. I though I might get a knock from the police when a car rolled in early morning but they drove off after a minute. Got a chance to fly the drone there. Thanks for watching!

Although technically a new Bowie 'character', Aladdin Sane was essentially a development of Ziggy Stardust in his appearance and persona, as evidenced on the cover by Brian Duffy and in Bowie's live performances throughout 1973 that culminated in Ziggy's 'retirement' at the Hammersmith Odeon in July of that year. Moreover there was not the thematic flow on this album that was present on its predecessor. Bowie himself described Aladdin Sane as simply "Ziggy goes to America", most of the tracks being observations he composed on the road during his 1972 US tour—the reason for the place names following each song title on the original record sleeve. Biographer Christopher Sandford believed the album showed that Bowie "was simultaneously appalled and fixated by America".
His mixed feelings about the journey stemmed, in Bowie's words, from "wanting to be up on the stage performing my songs, but on the other hand not really wanting to be on those buses with all those strange people... So Aladdin Sane was split down the middle."This kind of "schizophrenia", as Bowie describes it, was conveyed on the cover by his makeup, where a lightning bolt represents the duality of mind, although he would later tell friends that the "lad insane" of the album's title track was inspired by his brother Terry, who had been diagnosed as a schizophrenic
