A cemetery is a spatially defined area where the remains of deceased people are buried or are otherwise interred. The term "cemetery" (from Greek κοιμητήριον: sleeping place) implies that the land is specifically designated as a burial ground. The intact or cremated remains of deceased people may be interred. The remains may be interred in a grave, commonly referred to as burial, or may be interred in a tomb, an "above-ground grave" (resembling a sarcophagus), a mausoleum, columbarium, or other edifice. In Western cultures, funeral ceremonies are often observed in cemeteries. These ceremonies or rites of passage differ according to cultural practices and religious beliefs. Modern cemeteries often include crematoria, and some grounds previously used for both, continue as crematoria as a principal use long after the interment areas have been filled.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines a cemetery as a "burial-ground generally; now esp. a large public park or ground laid out expressly for the interment of the dead, and not being the ‘yard’ of any church. (Cemetery c)" and specifies that the term "...originally applied to the Roman underground cemeteries or catacombs " Cemeteries are normally distinct from churchyards, which are typically consecrated according to one denomination and are attached directly to a single place of worship.

All lies these fucking wolves deny
Praying all because of fear
It's all because they want you to hear
Lies, sheep in wolves disguised
The dark before the dawn
It's the part of you she turned on
I don't believe in God
Like you believe in me
Sunlight to the sinners in this cemetery
I don't believe in love
Like you believe in me
Sunlight to the sinners in this cemetery
Life, the swelling race filled the sky
You brought hate pills and knives
And this is how the tale begins
It's your life, exist and wonder why
When only fails to work
It will only fail to work sometimes
I don't believe in God
Like you believe in me
Sunlight to the sinners in this cemetery
I don't believe in love
Like you believe in me
Sunlight to the sinners in this cemetery
I don't believe in God
Like you believe in me
Sunlight to the sinners in this cemetery
I don't believe in love
Like you believe in me
Sunlight to the sinners in this cemetery
I don't believe, I don't believe in love
I don't believe, I don't believe in God
I don't believe, I don't believe in love
I got a gal who lives on the wrong side of town
I know what I want and man you know, I sure know how
It's the other side another place
I like it there no accountin' for taste
I can't think of nothin' when I'm with her
But the rain and the wind and the cemetery dirt
Went down to the cemetery lookin' for love
Got there and my baby was buried
I had to dig her up
Went down to the cemetery lookin' for love
Got there and my baby was buried
I had to dig her up
18,000 miles across nowhere land
I'm scratchin' and I'm spittin', ain't nobody listenin'
Things are kind of gettin' out of hand
There's only one point that I'd like to make
These kinds of things deteriorate
Well, it's the gospel truth man
That she's embalmed in love juice
Went down to the cemetery lookin' for love
Got there and my baby was buried
I had to dig her up, yeah
Went down to the cemetery lookin' for love
Got there and my baby was buried
I had to dig her up
Went down to the cemetery lookin' for love
Got there and my baby was buried
I had to dig her up
Went down to the cemetery lookin' for love
Got there and my baby was buried
I had to dig her up
Went down to the cemetery
Went down to the cemetery
Went down to the cemetery
Went down to the cemetery
There's a cemetery deep below the sea.
There the space is reserved for fools like me.
I tried to kill myself at least a dozen times
But nothing seemed to turn out right.
Now I'd rather wait a half a century.
Soiling the bed, all belligerent and wrinkly.
Even when I go blind and lose my mind
And nothing seems to turn out right,
Something's got to turn out right.
If you want then when we die,
We'll ascend to someplace way up high.
At the gate they'll show you through.
If they ask me, I'm with you.
You're in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
That's where I think about you.
(You're in my body and that's where I think about you)
...in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
That's where...
There's no one who imagines like you,
So convinced there's somewhere that we got to,
Not a first-class trip to the abyss.
Tell me, do you still feel this?
Tell me, do you still feel this?
As I drown in lakes of fire,
I will call your name as I expire.
It's the last thing that I'll do.
I will tell them I'm with you.
You're in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
That's where I think about you.
(You're in my body and that's where I think about you)
...in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
That's where...
Falling asleep, asleep at the wheel.
As I approach that cliff, I'm starting to feel.
If you could wake me up with only your touch,
Then I could die with you and life would be enough
Falling asleep, asleep at the wheel.
As I approach that cliff, I'm starting to feel.
If you could wake me up with only your touch,
Then I could die with you and life would be enough
(Wake me up)
And I'll face the one who made
My disgusting heart from a lump of clay.
Should he ask what got me through;
If he asks me it was you.
You're in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
That's where I think about you.
(You're in my body and that's where I think about you)
...in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
That's where I think about you!
(You're in my body and that's where I think about you)
...in my body.
You're, you're in my body.
You're in my body.
Lost my baby in the Cemetery
Lost my baby in the Cemetery
Driving around with no place to go
How many times has this happened before
Feelings of madness feelings of pain
Don't think I'll ever be the same
Lost my baby in the Cemetery, lost my baby
in the Cemetery
In the graveyard I can't find her grave
Her name got wiped away
Polluted by progress stealing my dreams
Wiping clean my memories
Her epitaph got erased I can't find her resting place
Her name got wiped away, now I have no place to pray
Lost my baby in the Cemetery, lost my baby in the Cemetery
Acid rain wipes the names right off graves
Respect for the living Respect for the dead
Lost my baby in the Cemetery, lost my
baby in the Cemetery
Her epitaph got erased, I can't find her resting place
Her name got wiped away, now I have no place to pray
Lost my baby in the Cemetery, got no place to pray
Lost my baby in the Cemetery, her name got wiped away
Lost my baby in the Cemetery
An electric concrete fantasy where the billboards keep on warning me,
that if I don't keep moving, moving I'll get stuck in this place, where nobody gets out alive.
The dead all came out to play in this metropoloitian decay, a cemetarty called Los Angeles.
The sun holds no regrets, the natives sway under arrest as all the stars fall from the sky.
Now we've all sold our souls, we're just waiting for the show to begin here at the edge.
What the hell we doing here, we're everywhere
but no one's here, bodies in motion, desperate motion.
The angels have all gone insane I know I'll never be the same so let it ride, we're going for a ride.
