Customer services entail provider customers with relevant answers and solutions to any questions or queries they might have regarding products. Customer services also extend to after-sales service, meaning that customers should be able to return any malfunctioning goods to be repaired or replaced in good time. Good customer services lead to excellent customer perception of a particular business. This in turn will lead to higher profits over time as customers will keep coming back and they will bring in others.

Responsibilities & Skills

Typical responsibilities of customer services employees include the following:
- Determining customer requirements
- Solving of all customer queries within an agreed turnaround time
- Keeping record of all customer queries for training purposes
- Education of customers on all aspects of products and services that the company has to offer
- Identifying and following up on all prospect leads
- Adhering to company policies at all times

Required Qualifications

• Matric Certificate
• No formal qualification is required as on-the-job training is usually provided
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience as a consultant
• Excellent communication skills
• Own transport and valid driver's license
