Here is a tutorial on how to make baby food! Specifically apples and pears. In this video i used 10 organic red delicious apples, 9 organic pears, a food processor, steamer, mixing bowl, spatula, apple peeler, water, quart sized ziplocks, and vinegar. One thing i didn't mention in the video is storage, i out the ziplock bags in the freezer and they are good for 3-4 months :-)

Apples and Bananas
"Apples and Bananas" or "Oopples and Boo-noo-noos" is a traditionalNorth American children's song that plays with the vowels of words. The first verse usually begins unaltered:
I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas.
I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas.
The following verses replace most or all vowels with one given vowel sound, usually each of the long vowels sounds of ⟨a⟩ (/eɪ/), ⟨e⟩ (/iː/), ⟨i⟩ (/aɪ/), ⟨o⟩ (/oʊ/), and ⟨u⟩ (/uː/), although potentially any English vowel can be used. For example:
Raffi, a Canadian musician, released a version of the song on his album One Light, One Sun (1985). Raffi's version only changed the vowels in "eat", "apples", and the last 2 syllables of "bananas". The song was described as one of several "old favorites" by the Ottawa Citizen in 1984.

Nursery rhyme
A nursery rhyme is a traditional poem or song for young children in Britain and many other countries, but usage only dates from the late 18th /early 19th century. In North America the term Mother Goose Rhymes, introduced in the mid-18th century, is still often used.
History
Lullabies
The oldest children's songs of which we have records are lullabies, intended to help a child sleep. Lullabies can be found in every human culture. The English term lullaby is thought to come from "lu, lu" or "la la" sound made by mothers or nurses to calm children, and "by by" or "bye bye", either another lulling sound, or a term for good night. Until the modern era lullabies were usually only recorded incidentally in written sources. The Roman nurses' lullaby, "Lalla, Lalla, Lalla, aut dormi, aut lacta", is recorded in a scholium on Persius and may be the oldest to survive.
Many medieval English verses associated with the birth of Jesus take the form of a lullaby, including "Lullay, my liking, my dere son, my sweting" and may be versions of contemporary lullabies. However, most of those used today date from the 17th century. For example, a well known lullaby such as "Rock-a-bye, baby on a tree top", cannot be found in records until the late-18th century when it was printed by John Newbery (c. 1765).

Teddy bear
A teddy bear is a soft toy in the form of a bear. Developed apparently simultaneously by toymakers Morris Michtom in the US and Richard Steiff in Germany in the early years of the 20th century, and named after President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, the teddy bear became an iconic children's toy, celebrated in story, song, and film. Since the creation of the first teddy bears which sought to imitate the form of real bear cubs, "teddies" have greatly varied in form, style and material. They have become collector's items, with older and rarer "teddies" appearing at public auctions. Teddy bears are among the most popular gifts for children and are often given to adults to signify love, congratulations, or sympathy.
History
The name teddy bear comes from former United States President Theodore Roosevelt, who was commonly known as "Teddy" (though he loathed being referred to as such). The name originated from an incident on a bear hunting trip in Mississippi in November 1902, to which Roosevelt was invited by Mississippi Governor Andrew H. Longino. There were several other hunters competing, and most of them had already killed an animal. A suite of Roosevelt's attendants, led by Holt Collier, cornered, clubbed, and tied an American black bear to a willow tree after a long exhausting chase with hounds. They called Roosevelt to the site and suggested that he should shoot it. He refused to shoot the bear himself, deeming this unsportsmanlike, but instructed that the bear be killed to put it out of its misery, and it became the topic of a political cartoon by Clifford Berryman in The Washington Post on November 16, 1902. While the initial cartoon of an adult black bear lassoed by a handler and a disgusted Roosevelt had symbolic overtones, later issues of that and other Berryman cartoons made the bear smaller and cuter.

Here is a tutorial on how to make baby food! Specifically apples and pears. In this video i used 10 organic red delicious apples, 9 organic pears, a food processor, steamer, mixing bowl, spatula, apple peeler, water, quart sized ziplocks, and vinegar. One thing i didn't mention in the video is storage, i out the ziplock bags in the freezer and they are good for 3-4 months :-)

Carol Symphony (complete) - Victor Hely-Hutchinson (1901-1947)
Irishman, Victor Hely-Hutchinson is best known for his Carol Symphony, from which the third movement was used for the title music of the 1943 Children's Hour and 1984 BBC children's television adaptation of John Masefield's The Box of Delights, in particular the variation on the theme of The First Nowell. The other two sessions were with Fritz Perls (Gestalt), and Albert Ellis (Rational Emotive). Harpist (and tenor!) Osian Ellis joins forces with cellist David Ffrangcon Thomas to perform these fourteen Welsh folk songs. This recording was the first album issued on the Delysé label. "Victor Hely-Hutchinson's "A Carol Symphony" is one of six works I always listen to at Christmastime. The others include RVW's Hodie, Finzi's In Terra Pax, JSB's Christmas Oratorio and Benjamin Britten's A Boy was Born.
"A Carol Symphony" is really more a sequence of 'preludes' rather than movements in a classical or traditional sense. Some critics have worried about its internal cohesion, but typically most have been impressed by the unity of the work considering the small number of carols that the composer used.
Each movement is based on a single carol, with allusions to others, although the scherzo and the finale do have additional material. The entire work was designed to be played without a break; although there are short pauses between the movements in the recordings".

I took these photographs in York, York Minster (cathedral); various places in the Peak District National Park, including a few pictures of this year's C. S. Lewis "Narnia" theme for Christmas at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, England.
The final slide is a photograph of "The Wilton Diptych" (c. 1395--1399) a small portable diptych of two hinged panels painted on both sides (tempera on oak) now in the National Gallery, London. It is an extremely rare survival of a late Medieval religious panel painting from England. The diptych was painted for King Richard II of England who is depicted kneeling before the Virgin and Child in what is known as a donor portrait. Irishman, Victor Hely-Hutchinson is best known for his Carol Symphony, from which the third movement was used for the title music of the 1943 Children's Hour and 1984 BBC children's television adaptation of John Masefield's The Box of Delights, in particular the variation on the theme of The First Nowell. Hely-Hutchinson is also well known for his settings of various nursery rhymes and children's poems. His setting of Old Mother Hubbard is composed in the manner of Handel. His song setting of Edward Lear's The Owl and the Pussycat was notably recorded by Elton Hayes and featured on the BBC's Children's Favourites radio show (courtesy of Wikipedia).

"Victor Hely-Hutchinson's "A Carol Symphony" is one of six works I always listen to at Christmastime. The others include RVW's Hodie, Finzi's In Terra Pax, JSB's Christmas Oratorio and Benjamin Britten's A Boy was Born.
"A Carol Symphony" is really more a sequence of 'preludes' rather than movements in a classical or traditional sense. Some critics have worried about its internal cohesion, but typically most have been impressed by the unity of the work considering the small number of carols that the composer used.
Each movement is based on a single carol, with allusions to others, although the scherzo and the finale do have additional material. The entire work was designed to be played without a break; although there are short pauses between the movements in the recordings".

I took these photographs in York, York Minster (cathedral); various places in the Peak District National Park, including a few pictures of this year's C. S. Lewis "Narnia" theme for Christmas at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, England.
The final slide is a photograph of "The Wilton Diptych" (c. 1395--1399) a small portable diptych of two hinged panels painted on both sides (tempera on oak) now in the National Gallery, London. It is an extremely rare survival of a late Medieval religious panel painting from England. The diptych was painted for King Richard II of England who is depicted kneeling before the Virgin and Child in what is known as a donor portrait. Isabella Wallich, niece of the legendary HMV Artistic Director Fred Gaisberg, established the label. She became well-known for her work in promoting the careers of Geraint Evans, Janet Baker, guitarist John Williams, among others.

"A Ceremony of Carols" Op. 28, is a choral piece by Benjamin Britten, scored for three-part treble chorus, solo voices, and harp. Written for Christmas, it consists of eleven movements, with text from "The English Galaxy of Shorter Poems", edited by Gerald Bullett; it is in Middle English.
To my ears, this is a marvellous performance under choirmaster and conductor George Guest at St. John's College, Cambridge, recorded in 1965. Marisa Robles' harp playing here is a delight.
