Because of constitutionally mandated term limits, Putin was ineligible to run for a third consecutive presidential term. After his successor Dmitry Medvedev won the 2008 presidential election, Putin was nominated by Medvedev to be Russia's Prime Minister; Putin took office on 8 May 2008 and a period of so-called "tandemocracy" followed. In September 2011, Putin and Medvedev agreed he should seek a third, non-consecutive term in the 2012 presidential election, which he won in the first round on 4 March 2012.

He casts a long shadow over globe. Russian leader Vladimir Putin has outlasted three American presidents and is on track to stay in power until 2024. His incursions in Georgia, the Crimea and Ukraine have rattled the West, while his crackdowns inside Russia have riled his democratic opponents.
But a joint investigation by the fifth estate and PBS’ Frontline reveals an even darker side to one of the most powerful leaders in the world: Allegations of criminal activity dating as far back as his early days as a top official in St. Petersburg; ties to organized crime and money-laundering activities; and a secret personal fortune said to be in the billions.
“Putin’s Long Shadow” also raises disturbing questions about the role the Russian security services played in four apartment building bombings in Moscow and other cities in 1999 that killed nearly 300 people – a tragedy Putin blamed on terrorists and used to cement his power.
Host Gillian Findlay talks to a senior police officer who tried to arrest Putin on corruption charges; an investigator who was jailed for asking too many questions about the apartment bombings; and Russian businessmen who detail the levels of corruption and collusion.

EXCLUSIVE NEWS Vladimir Putin exposes ISIS explains refugees and Syria - Vladimir Putin took part in the session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Collective Security in Dushanbe.
The heads of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan met in a narrow format, and then talks continued with the participation of delegations.
Special attention was paid to the problems of the summit to respond effectively to the most urgent military and political challenges, including the intensification of terrorist and extremist groups to destabilize the situation on the borders of the CSTO.
We discussed the situation in the zone of CSTO responsibility, pressing regional and international issues. It was stated the growth of threats facing the state - members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in various areas.
We support the Government of Syria in confronting terrorist aggression, provide and will provide him with the necessary military and technical assistance and urge us to join other countries.
People fleeing from Syria, first of all, by fighting against the atrocities of terrorists fleeing radicals. And if Russia does not support Syria, the situation in the country would be worse than in Libya, and the flow of refugees would be even greater.
The so-called Islamic State controls large areas. In their plans - Distribution activity in Europe, Russia, Asia. Basic common sense, responsible for global and regional security requires joint efforts of the international community against this threat.

Vladimir Putin came to power with the sponsorship of Boris Yeltsin: Yelstsin came to power with the sponsorship of the Russian Oligarchs.
For Millennium, the Cabal has been using the Heligian Dialectic.
The Hegelian Dialectic was the policies of George Hagel a German Philosopher.
All historical events emerge from a conflict between opposing forces.
The whole purpose of the dialectic is to control the masses like herding sheep.
Whenever people see a group or belief system as "evil" they instinctively move to the political opposite of what they identified as threatening.
Putin's role was to follow Yeltzins footsteps as the Heligian Dialect was already played out in bringing the two nations, the U.S and Russia together.
But something terrible has gone wrong for the Cabal and their world take over.

Presidents Obama and Putin share icy encounter over Syria
Sharp divisions over the civil war in Syria led to an icy encounter Monday between President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom U.S. officials view as a major hurdle in their drive to force Syrian President Bashar Assad from power.
The two leaders held their first face-to-face meeting in a year at the summit of the world's richest countries days after Obama deepened U.S. involvement in the Syrian conflict. Aides said the CIA would begin supplying arms and ammunition to some opposition forces in hopes of shifting the military balance away from Assad.

Vladimir Putin answered questions from Hubert Seipel of the German TV channel ARD. The interview was recorded on November 13 in Vladivostok.
HUBERT SEIPEL (retranslated from Russian): Good afternoon, Mr President.
You are the only Russian President who has ever given a speech at the Bundestag. This happened in 2001. Your speech was a success. You spoke about relations between Russia and Germany, building Europe in cooperation with Russia, but you also gave a warning. You said that the Cold War ideas had to be eradicated. You also noted that we share the same values, yet we do not trust each other.

Russian President Vladimir Putin trained his pugnacious rhetoric on President Barack Obama on Friday, answering an allegation that he has lied about Ukraine with the jab: "Who is he to judge?"
In an extensive interview with CNBC at an economic conference in St. Petersburg, the Russian leader insisted that he hopes for a peaceful outcome to the crisis in Ukraine and will support the presidential election there on Sunday.
He flashed anger when he was asked about the American president's claim that he has lied about Russia's role in stoking conflict in Ukraine.
"Who is he to judge?" Putin said, according to an interpreter. "Who is he to judge, seriously? If he wants to judge people, why doesn't he get a job in court somewhere?"
"I don't think he accused me," Putin went on. "It's his point of view. And I have my point of view when he comes to certain things."
Putin spoke two days before Ukraine holds its first presidential election since Russia seized its Crimean peninsula earlier this year, and since pro-Russian separatists began battling with security forces in east Ukraine.
The Russian leader acknowledged that U.S.-led sanctions have hurt Russia, but he said that Russian is not "trying to fence ourselves out from the world."
"You can't force people to like you, as we say in Russia," Putin said. "But we hope that common sense, good sense and national interest, will push our European and American partners to continue cooperation."
Asked about Edward Snowden, the former American government security contractor who has leaked details of National Security Agency spying programs, Putin suggested he wasn't Russia's problem. Russia has granted Snowden temporary asylum.
"He turned up on our territory because of nonprofessional actions of the Americans themselves, who tried to catch him," Putin said.
"I used to work for special services. Why did they scare the entire world? They downed the planes with presidents on board, and the plane with Snowden on board they could down anywhere."
The reference was not immediately clear. But last July, during a worldwide hunt for the fugitive Snowden, a plane carrying the president of Bolivia was forced to land after rumors circulated that Snowden was on board. He turned out not to be.
Snowden this week granted his first American television interview to Brian Williams, the anchor and managing editor of "NBC Nightly News." NBC will air that interview in an hour-long special Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
On the Ukraine election, Putin said that his country will "have respect for the choice that the Ukrainian people make."
The likely winner is Petro Poroshenko, a political pragmatist who may be able to work with both Russia and the West. The world is watching to see whether the separatists will disrupt the vote.
"Of course, we will cooperate with the newly elected head of state," Putin told CNBC.
"I'm not kidding, and I'm not being ironic," he added. "What we want for Ukraine is peace and calm. We want this country to recover from crisis."
He said that "we will watch very closely what will happen" and said, as he has before, that Viktor Yanukovych, the pro-Russian president of Ukraine who was overthrown in February, is still the legitimate president.
The United States and Europe have imposed sanctions on well-placed Russians to punish the country for intervening in Ukraine, and they have threatened sanctions against whole Russian industries if Russia disrupts the election.
"What happened now is chaos," Putin said of the instability in east Ukraine, which the West has accused him of stoking. "The country is sliding into chaos."
Putin conceded that the sanctions have hurt Russia. He suggested that the United States was trying to gain a competitive business advantage over Europe.
"The sanctions were imposed," he said. "Now they're trying to make us to blame for something else."

In comments to reporters, Obama and Putin expressed support for still-unscheduled Syrian peace negotiations in Geneva, but offered no sign of progress in ending a war that has killed at least 93,000 people. Russia, Syria's most powerful ally, has sent weapons to Assad's forces and is considering deliveries of sophisticated antiaircraft missile batteries.
Obama noted that he and Putin had "differing perspectives" on Syria but said they both sought to reduce the bloodshed and secure Assad's arsenal of chemical weapons. "We want to try to resolve the issue through political means if possible," he said.
"Of course our opinions don't coincide," Putin responded. But he said he hoped "to solve the situation peacefully" and said they "agreed to push the parties to the negotiations table."
Obama tried to lighten the mood by joking about their favorite sports. He cited Putin's expertise in judo and "my declining skills in basketball." Then he added, "And we both agree that as you get older, it takes more time to recover."
Putin cracked a brief smile before adding an awkward admission of the tension: "The president wants to relax me with his statement."
Obama arrived at the Lough Erne resort for the annual meeting of the Group of 8 industrialized nations a day after Putin had roundly denounced Western support for the Syrian rebels. After meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron in London, Putin described the anti-Assad forces as lawless thugs and cannibals.
"I believe one does not really need to support the people who not only kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines in front of the public gaze and cameras," Putin said, a reference to video posted online that appeared to show a rebel fighter cutting open the body of a loyalist soldier. "Are these the people you want to support?"
Even before that remark, Western officials had low hopes for a breakthrough at the G-8. The Russians have little incentive to push Assad into peace negotiations while his forces have the upper hand on the battlefield. Obama's reluctant and delayed decision to arm the rebels is viewed as an attempt to turn the tide in favor of the opposition and force the Syrian leader into talks.
The last time Obama and Putin met, at the G-20 summit a year ago in Los Cabos, Mexico, they barely made eye contact and seemed uncomfortable sitting next to each other. They were equally frosty Monday, sitting side by side in armchairs during their 12-minute meeting with reporters. Each looked straight ahead, unsmiling, as the other spoke, although Putin sometimes stared at the floor.
The White House offered another take on the rapport between the leaders. Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes called the two-hour meeting "businesslike."
Rhodes said the leaders spent about one-fifth of their time on Syria, and he tried to focus on areas of agreement. Putin and Obama agreed to a new version of the Cooperative Threat Reduction program, a post-Cold War nonproliferation program that secured or dismantled nuclear, biological and chemical weapons in former Soviet states.
And both expressed cautious optimism that the surprise election of Hassan Rowhani, a moderate cleric, as president of Iran may yield opportunities to defuse the international standoff over Tehran's nuclear development program.
Rhodes also acknowledged that the Russians were "more skeptical" of evidence that led the White House to declare last week that Assad's forces had used small amounts of sarin nerve gas in attacks that killed 100 to 150 people. The White House has not released the evidence or described how it was obtained, or by whom.
The impasse over Syria undermined Cameron's attempt to demonstrate loose camaraderie at the two-day G-8 meeting. The summit at this lush lakeshore golf haven was billed as a chance for world leaders to talk casually and privately -- away from protests and prying eyes -- about economic initiatives.

Full Exclusive Interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin's ARD German TV about Ukraine (English)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o4GkiEoovw
Why were you being a little pessimistic back then?
VLADIMIR PUTIN: First of all, I gave no warnings or admonitions and I was not being pessimistic. I was just trying to analyse the preceding period in the development of the situation in the world and in Europe after the collapse of the Soviet Union. I also took the liberty of predicting the situation based on different development scenarios.
Naturally, it reflected the situation as we see it, through the prism, as diplomats would put it, from Russia’s point of view, but still, I think it was a rather objective analysis.
I reiterate: there was no pessimism whatsoever. None. On the contrary, I was trying to make my speech sound optimistic. I assumed that having acknowledged all the problems of the past, we must move towards a much more comfortable and mutually advantageous relationship-building process in the future.

Greetings from the people of America on your visit to our shores, we extend our best wishes to you and your family. We also hope that your schedule will permit you to get out and meet some real Americans. You would be amazed at how different we are from those ‘officials’ you have undoubtedly met from the current American administration. The reason for this is quite simple; we were born and brought up in this country, many of them were not.
We understand our American heritage and have been brought up with it our whole lives. Many of those in ‘official’ positions have

The Rise of Putin and The Fall of The Russian-Jewish Oligarchs (1/2)
(README)
This documentary outlines the rise and fall of the Russian-Jewish oligarchs after the fall of the Soviet Union. The reason why this period in history is important is because it delivered to us and into the political arena, Vladimir Putin, the now Russian President, and the antidote to President Obama who's serving on behalf of Zionist Jewry and their total control of the United States of America. Had this not taken place, the world we live in would now have been very different with possibly more wars and conflicts and we would be further in the grip of International Jewry.
President Vladimir Putin is truly remarkable because he, and he alone, thwarted Zionist Jewry and the U.S. puppet president Obama in their attempt to overthrow the Syrian government thus changing the geopolitical climate in the Middle East in favor of Israel, as was Iraq, and allowing for a future invasion of Iran.
One need only to look at the countries and presidents the U.S. boycotts and criticizes to figure out who Zionist Jewry are targeting and then everything will fall into place.
Putin has been compared to Hitler for a variety of reasons, one because he won't allow the West to meddle in Russian affairs and try to change the political and social climate through "democratic revolutions" or challenging authority through "human right campaigns" aimed at legalizing homosexual Gay Pride parades which outrage the people, but mostly because he revived his country out of the rubble that Jewish Bolshevism created, which even Putin himself admits was Jewish:
course the Jews, as usual, claim Putin perpetuates this as an "anti-semitic lie":
what happened to the Jewish oligarchs after Putin became president? Berezovsky was exiled and allegedly committed suicide, Khodorkovsky rots in prison at this very moment, others fled to Israel or the West, but people like Abramovich stayed and were most likely forced to pledge allegiance, not to International Jewry, but to Russia as loyal law-abiding citizens.
And as for the Jewish community in Russia, at some point in time it was made clear to them that there would be no conspiring with their tribal brethren in the West to meddle with the affairs in Russia and they had to declare their allegiance to the country as well as is suggested by this article:
can only look to the future with hope and keep our eyes and ears open and most importantly, inform people on what's happening and why it's happening, and one day we'll also be ab

An open letter to President Putin, from the American People
To: Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin
From: The American People
Greetings from the people of America on your visit to our shores, we extend our best wishes to you and your family.
Many of those in ‘official’ positions have not or they have conveniently forgotten where they came from, so that they might embrace an ‘internationalist’ outlook. But the American people are waking up to this sad state of our leadership, quickly. We are sometimes slow to react, always wanting to give people a chance to ‘do better’; very much like a sleeping tiger. But you need look no further than the recent announcement that the Speaker of the House of Representatives is stepping down, to see how quickly we can pounce.
Be assured, Mr Putin, that this is just the beginning of the American people ‘cleaning’ up our political house. But a word of caution, please do NOT see this as an opportunity to make mischief while we round up these dilettantes and sycophants. That would not be advised, as this will be a quick process and we will remember which nations gave us the time we needed to ‘clean things up’ and those who did not. After all, once we rid ourselves of these pretenders, America can get back to the way we were, before they stole our future away from us.
In fact we ask you to remember another time in our history, when we needed to do a little ‘clean up’ and your country came to our aid. It was during the War Between the States, when off-shore interests tried to split our country into small pieces. Some of your naval fleet was stationed off San Francisco to help safeguard shipments of California gold headed back east. Your help was welcomed then and your restraint now will also be welcomed.
We hope that under new, American leadership our two countries can return to the goodwill we shared after defeating Nazism in WWII. That mutual respect continued until the day they took President John F. Kennedy from us. We have never truly healed from that tragedy, nor the other murders of our leaders that followed in the next five years. One outcome of our house cleaning might very well be naming and charging those responsible for those crimes against America.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and may God bless our two countries and help us live together in peace.
Very Truly Yours,
The American People
