There are 21 tracks in this album, Two of them "Lets Face The Music an Dance" and "Stars Fell On Alabama' , which are considered Alternate Takes, sound different. Lets is same song but different but Stars is a completely different tune by Louis Armstrong an Louie Prima, Ole Rockinchair. I didn't know until it (The Album) was done. No harm, no foul, it's good. Antia O'Day sang a lot with Gene Krupa. She made a lot of solo albums also. For those of you concerned with her Bio, Look at Wiki.

Portland-based indie legends Portugal. The Man are currently in the country for a string of free, yes free, shows presented by Corona Extra. It’s not just in capital cities either — the indie rockers have been making their way through regional towns too and they couldn’t be happier about the opportunity to see even more of the country. “They asked us to come here and play 25 free shows, at small bars kind of outside big cities which is very rare for us, to get out and see those kind of things. So we said hell yeah, pretty fast,” explain the band. While they’re on the road showcasing tunes from their Danger Mouse-helmed seventh studio album, Evil Friends, as well as hits from their rich back catalogue, the band say they’ve also been in and out of the studio working on a follow-up, this time with another super-producer in their company. “We’ve been in the studio with Mike D, from the Beastie Boys and just kind of recording whatever we want,” the explain. “Danger Mouse does whatever he wants, Mike D does whatever he wants. We just kind of like, piggyback.” “We haven’t talked to the label about it or anything, we’ve just been in the studio,” they add, confirming that while there’s no official release date yet, the absence of outside pressure means things are looking good.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says he has now found a position for Juan Mata in his team, and describes the Spaniard's brace in the 2-1 win at Liverpool as "marvellous". Mata slotted home to put United ahead in the first half at Anfield, and after Liverpool had substitute Steven Gerrard sent off in the second half, Mata doubled the visitors' lead with a stunning scissor kick. Daniel Sturridge pulled a goal back for the home side. Man United have won away at Anfield 11 times, more than any other team in Premier League history. CLEVELAND - After going missing more than 10 years ago, Amanda Berry shouted to a man from a Seymour Avenue house on Monday. Charles Ramsey and Angel Cordero broke down the door and freed Berry, who was 16 when she disappeared in 2003. Subscribe to VICE News here: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-VICE-News At his compound on the outskirts of Port of Spain, the man responsible for the only attempted militant Islamic overthrow of a Western government is smiling. "I've been charged with treason, I've been charged with sedition, with murder, conspiracy to murder, [stockpiling] guns...." Abu Bakr, the fiery 73-year-old leader of Jamaat al Muslimeen, rattles off the many accusations that the government of Trinidad and Tobago has leveled against him. "Nothing has stuck, because it's fabricated," he continues. "They list all the charges in a book, and they just throw the book at me.... That's not prosecution, that's persecution!" Bakr has mellowed a bit in his old age, but he still relishes the opportunity to serve as a thorn in the side of the government with whom he has clashed for decades. Depending on which local you ask, "The Jamaat" is either a jihadi group, a vast criminal organization, an invaluable community resource providing jobs and social services to Trinidad's disadvantaged, or a combination of all three. But everyone agrees that the coup that Bakr led in 1990 — which held the state hostage for six days, unleashed widespread looting and chaos, and resulted in 24 deaths and the shooting of the prime minister — changed the country forever. Man who shot Usama bin Laden speaks out in exclusive Fox News interview How Robert O'Neill prepared for the bin Laden raid The former Navy SEAL who shot and killed Usama bin Laden told Fox News’ Peter Doocy in an exclusive interview that the elite team who took out the terrorist believed that it was “going to be a one-way mission," but it would be "worth it to kill him." In part one of “The Man Who Killed Usama bin Laden," Rob O’Neill described how he went from a kid growing up in Butte, Montana to become the highly-trained SEAL who pulled the trigger in the famous mission at bin Laden's compound in Pakistan in 2011. O'Neill, who rose up in the ranks to become a member of the Navy's elite SEAL Team 6, had previously been a part of missions such as the rescue of the crew of the Maersk Alabama from Somali pirates, which was depicted in the movie "Captain Phillips." He described to Doocy how he discovered he was embarking on the mission to kill bin Laden. They told us a couple of things like we’re going to read you in eventually and here’s whose going to be there…and they said a few names that didn’t make sense,” O’Neill said. “A few of us were talking a couple days later about this person, this person why would they be there… It’s bin Laden…they found him…we’re going to go get him.” O’Neill said he and the other SEALs did not think they would survive the mission. “The more we trained on it, the more we realized…this is going to be a one-way mission,” he said. “We’re going to go and we’re not going to come back. We’re going to die when the house blows up. We’re going to die when he blows up. Or we are going to be there too long and we’ll get arrested by the Pakistanis and we’re going to spend the rest of our short lives in Pakistan prison.” Despite the risks, O'Neill said he did not hope that President Obama would choose another tactic to take out bin Laden, and he even pushed to become a part of the group that landed on the roof of the compound. He said that the soldiers felt that the mission would be worth sacrificing their own lives, saying "we are going to die eventually, this is a good way to go and it's worth it to kill him. He's going to die with us." To be part of something so historic, you can't ask for more...we wanted it bad," he said. "It's it. It doesn’t get any better. This is it this is why we're here. We are at war because of this guy and now we are going to go get him." O'Neill said he believes he was "definitely" the last person bin Laden saw before he died, and he has thought about the mission every day in the years since it happened. "I’m still trying to figure out if it’s the best thing I’ve ever done or the worst thing I’ve ever done," he said. Jazz on a Summer's Day (1960) is a documentary film set at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island, co-filmed and co-directed by commercial and fashion photographer Bert Stern and director Aram Avakian, who also edited the movie. It was written by Albert D'Annibale and Arnold Perl. The Columbia Records jazz producer, George Avakian, was the musical director of the film. The film mixes images of water and the city with the performers and audience at the festival. It also features scenes of the 1958 America's Cup yacht races. The film is largely without dialog or narration (except for periodic announcements by emcee Willis Conover). The film features performances by Jimmy Giuffre, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Stitt, Anita O'Day, Dinah Washington, Gerry Mulligan, Chuck Berry, Louis Armstrong, and Jack Teagarden. Also appearing are Buck Clayton, Jo Jones, Armando Peraza, and Eli's Chosen Six, the Yale College student ensemble that included trombonist Roswell Rudd, shown driving around Newport in a convertible jalopy, playing Dixieland. Many performances ran so long that the last act, Mahalia Jackson, did not appear on stage until after midnight, performing The Lord's Prayer. In 1999, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

The Examiner 2015-04-09"The Man" is a slang phrase that may refer to the government or to some other authority in a position of power. In addition to this derogatory connotation, it may also serve as a term of respect and praise.
The phrase "the Man is keeping me down" is commonly used to describe oppression. The phrase "stick it to the Man" encourages resistance to authority, and essentially means "fight back" or "resist", either openly or via sabotage.
The earliest recorded use[citation needed] of the term "the Man" in the American sense dates back to a letter written by a young Alexander Hamilton in September 1772, when he was 15. In a letter to his father James Hamilton, published in the Royal Dutch-American Gazette, he described the response of the Dutch governor of St. Croix to a hurricane that raked that island on August 31, 1772. "Our General has issued several very salutary and humane regulations and both in his publick and private measures, has shewn himself the Man." [dubious – discuss] In the Southern U.S. states, the phrase came to be applied to any man or any group in a position of authority, or to authority in the abstract. From about the 1950s the phrase was also an underworld code word for police, the warden of a prison or other law enforcement or penal authorities.
What's your story, morning glory
What makes you look so blue
The way that you've been acting
I don't know what to do
For I love you, sure as one and one make two
What's your story, morning glory
Got a feeling there's a lot you're concealing
So, won't you let me know your point of view
What is your story, morning glory
You've got me worried too
The postman came this morning
And left a note for you
Did you read it, then you know that I love you
What's your story, morning glory
Give your answer to this patient romancer
Oh, won't you tell me that you love me too
The night is young, the skies are clear
And if you want to go walkin', dear
It's delightful, it's delicious, it's de-lovely
I understand the reason why
You're sentimental, 'cause so am I
It's delightful, it's delicious, it's de-lovely
You can tell at a glance what a swell night this is for romance
You can hear, dear Mother Nature murmuring low "Let yourself go"
So please be sweet, my chickadee
And when I kiss ya, just say to me
"It's delightful, it's delicious, it's delectable, it's delirious,
It's dilemma, it's de limit, it's deluxe, it's de-lovely"
You can tell at a glance what a swell night this is for romance
You can hear dear Mother Nature murmuring low "Let yourself go"
So please be sweet, my chickadee
And when I kiss ya, just say to me
"It's delightful, it's delicious, it's delectable, it's delirious,
It's dilemma, it's de limit, it's deluxe, it's de-lovely"
Skylark
Have you anything to say to me
Won't you tell me where my love can be
Is there a meadow in the mist
Where someone's waiting to be kissed
Oh skylark
Have you seen a valley green with spring
Where my heart can go a-journeying
Over the shadows and the rain
To a blossom-covered lane
And in your lonely flight
Haven't you heard the music in the night
Wonderful music
Faint as a will o' the wisp
Crazy as a loon
Sad as a gypsy serenading the moon
Oh skylark
I don't know if you can find these things
But my heart is riding on your wings
So if you see them anywhere
Won't you lead me there
Oh skylark
Won't you lead me there
I cover the waterfront,
I'm watching the sea,,
Will the one I love,
Be coming back to me?
I cover the waterfront,
In search of my love,
And I'm covered by,
A starless sky above.
(chorus)
Here am I,
Patiently waiting,
Hoping and longing,
Oh! How I yearn!
Where are you?
Are you forgetting?
Do you remember?
Will you return?
I cover the waterfront,
I'm watching the sea,
For the one I love,
Must come back to me.
(end song with repeat of chorus & last verse)
I walk with my baby
And I know in nothing flat
She's got something mellow
Lots of fellows whistle at
When we go for a walk
I know soon as we're out
With no shadow of doubt
She's got lots to be proud of.
I'm hip, I'm lucky to have
Someone so endowed;
A girl half as lovely would made
Lots of fellows proud
I love all of her charms
But one's really a ball:
I love those shiny stockings most of all
The evening breeze caressed the trees tenderly
The trembling trees embraced the breeze tenderly
Then you and I came wandering by
And lost in a sigh were we
The shore was kissed by sea and mist tenderly
I can't forget how two hearts met breathlessly
Your arms opened wide and closed me inside
You took my lips, you took my love so tenderly
how strange it was, how sweet and strange
there was never a dream to compare
with that hazy, crazy, night we met
when a nightingale sang in berkeley square
this heart of mine beat loud and fast
like a merry-go-round in a fair
for we were dancing cheek to cheek
and a nightingale sang in berkeley square
when dawn came stealing up all gold and blue
to interrupt our rendezvous
i still remember how you smiled and said
"was that a dream or was it true?"
our homeward step was just as light
as the tap-dancing feet of astaire
and like an echo far away
a nightingale sang in berkeley square
when dawn came stealing up all gold and blue
to interrupt our rendezvous
i still remember how you smiled and said
"was that a dream or was it true?"
the streets of town were paved with stars
it was such a romantic affair
and as we kissed and said goodnight
a nightingale sang in berkeley square
i know cause i was there
that night in berkeley square
NO GAL MADE HAS GOT A SHADE
ON SWEET GEORGIA BROWN,
TWO LEFT FEET, OH, SO NEAT,
HAS SWEET GEORGIA BROWN!
THEY ALL SIGH, AND WANT TO DIE,
FOR SWEET GEORGIA BROWN!
I'LL TELL YOU JUST WHY,
YOU KNOW I DON'T LIE, NOT MUCH:
IT'S BEEN SAID SHE KNOCKS 'EM DEAD,
WHEN SHE LANDS IN TOWN!
SINCE SHE CAME, WHY IT'S A SHAME,
HOW SHE COOLS THEM DOWN!
FELLAS SHE CAN'T GET
MUST BE FELLAS SHE AIN'T MET!
GEORGIA CLAIMED HER, GEORGIA NAMED HER,
SWEET GEORGIA BROWN!
NO GAL MADE HAS GOT A SHADE
ON SWEET GEORGIA BROWN,
TWO LEFT FEET, OH, SO NEAT,
HAS SWEET GEORGIA BROWN!
THEY ALL SIGH, AND WANT TO DIE,
FOR SWEET GEORGIA BROWN!
I'LL TELL YOU JUST WHY,
YOU KNOW I DON'T LIE; NOT MUCH:
ALL THOSE GIFTS THOSE COURTERS GIVE,
TO SWEET GEORGIA BROWN,
THEY BUY CLOTHES AT FASHION SHOWS,
WITH ONE DOLLAR DOWN,
OH, BOY! TIP YOUR HAT!
OH, JOY! SHE'S THE CAT!
WHO'S THAT, MISTER? 'TAIN'T A SISTER!
SWEET GEORGIA BROWN!
When sunny gets blue
Her eyes get gray and cloudy
Then the rain begins to fall
Pitter patter, pitter patter
Love is gone so what can matter?
No sweet lover man comes to call
When sunny gets blue
She breathes a sigh of sadness
Like the wind that stirs the trees
Wind that sets the leaves swaying like
Some violins playing
Weird and haunting melodies
People used to love
To see her smile, hear her laugh
That's how she got her name
Since that sad affair, she's lost her smile
Changed her style
Somehow she's not, not the same
But memories will fade
And pretty dreams will arise up
Where her other dreams fell through
Hurry, hurry, hurry new love here
To kiss away each lonely tear
And hold her near when sunny gets blue
When sunny gets blue
Easy come, easy go, that's the way,
If love must have it's day, then
As it came, let it go.
No, no remorse, no regrets
We should part exactly as we met
Just easy come, easy go.
We never dream of romantic dangers
But now that it ends, let's be friends
And not two strangers
Easy come, easy go, here we are,
So darling au revoir
It's easy come, easy go.
Some day, when I'm awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow just thinking of you...
And the way you look tonight.
Yes you're lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me but to love you,
And the way you look tonight.
With each word your tenderness grows,
Tearing my fear apart...
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose,
It touches my foolish heart.
Lovely ... Never, ever change.
Keep that breathless charm.
Won't you please arrange it ?
'Cause I love you ... Just the way you look tonight.
Mm, Mm, Mm, Mm,
Just the way you look to-night.
Is you is or is you ain't my baby
Well, the way you're acting lately, well it makes me doubt
You were still my baby, baby
But it seems like my flame in your heart, well it's just gone out
A man is a creature
That has always been strange
Just when you're sure of one
You'll find that he's gone and made a change
Is you is or is you ain't my baby
Well, maybe my baby found somebody new
Or is my baby still my baby too
You'd be so nice to come home to
You'd be so nice by the fire
While the breeze on high sang a lullaby
You'd be all that I could desire
Under stars chilled by the winter
Under an August moon burnin' above
You'd be so nice, you'd be paradise
To come home to and love
You'd be so nice to come home to
You'd be awful nice by the fire
While the breeze up on high sang a lullaby
You'd be all that I could desire
Under stars chilled by the winter
Under an August moon burnin' up there above
You'd be so nice, just like paradise
To come home to and love
Thanks for the memory
Of candlelight and wine, castles on the Rhine
The Parthenon and moments on the Hudson River Line
How lovely it was!
Thanks for the memory
Of rainy afternoons, swingy Harlem tunes
And motor trips and burning lips and burning toast and prunes
How lovely it was!
Many's the time that we feasted
And many's the time that we fasted
Oh, well, it was swell while it lasted
We did have fun and no harm done
And thanks for the memory
Of sunburns at the shore, nights in Singapore
You might have been a headache but you never were a bore
So thank you so much.
Thanks for the memory
Of sentimental verse, nothing in my purse
And chuckles when the preacher said "For better or for worse"
How lovely it was
Thanks for the memory
Of lingerie with lace, Pilsner by the case
And how I jumped the day you trumped my one-and-only ace
How lovely it was!
We said goodbye with a highball
Then I got as "high" as a steeple
But we were intelligent people
No tears, no fuss, Hooray! For us
So, thanks for the memory
And strictly entre-nous, darling how are you?
And how are all the little dreams that never did come true?
Aw'flly glad I met you, cheerio, and toodle-oo
And thank you so much
Rules of the road
Anita O'Day
So these are the ropes,
The tricks of the trade,
The rules of the road.
Youre one of the dopes
For whom they were made,
The rules of the road.
You follow that kiss and recklessly miss
A bend of the road,
Then suddenly this--
The end of the road.
So love is a hoax,
A glittering stream
Of little white lies.
But these are the jokes,
And what if they bring
The tears to your eyes?
Well, love often shows a funny return.
The brighter it glows,
The longer you burn.
And lord only knows
Love has little concern for the fools of the road.
But thats how it goes,
You live and you learn,
The rules of the road.
But thats how it goes,
You live and you learn,
The rules of the road.
And everyone knows that thats how it goes,
The rules of the road.
I've got you under my skin.
I've got you deep in the heart of me.
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me.
I've got you under my skin.
I'd tried so not to give in.
I said to myself: this affair never will go so well.
But why should I try to resist when, baby, I know so well
I've got you under my skin?
I'd sacrifice anything come what might
For the sake of havin' you near
In spite of a warnin' voice that comes in the night
And repeats, repeats in my ear:
Don't you know, little fool, you never can win?
Use your mentality, wake up to reality.
But each time that I do just the thought of you
Makes me stop before I begin
'Cause I've got you under my skin.
[Musical interlude]
I would sacrifice anything come what might
For the sake of havin' you near
In spite of the warning voice that comes in the night
And repeats - how it yells in my ear:
Don't you know, little fool, you never can win?
Why not use your mentality - step up, wake up to reality?
But each time I do just the thought of you
Makes me stop just before I begin
'Cause I've got you under my skin.
Yes, I've got you under my skin.
Shaking the blues away, unhappy news away
If you are blue, it's easy to
Shake off your cares and troubles
Telling the blues to go, they may refuse to go
But as a rule, they'll go if you'll
Shake them away
Do like the voodoos do, list'ning to a voodoo melody
They shake their bodies so, to and fro
With every shake, a lucky break
Proving that there's a way to chase your cares away
If you would lose your weary blues
Shake 'em away
You’re my funny valentine
Sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable
Unphotographable
Yet you’re my favorite work of art
Is your figure less than greek
Is your mouth a little weak
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?
But don’t change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine stay
Each day is valentine’s day!
From this moment on,
You for me dear,
Only two for tea dear,
From this moment on,
From this happy day,
No more blue songs,
Only hoop-de-doo songs,
From this moment on
You've got the love I need so much
Got the skin I love to touch
Got the arms to hold me tight
Got the sweet lips to kiss me goodnight
From this moment on
You and I babe
We'll be ridin' high babe
Every care is gone
From this moment on.
You've got the love I need so much
Got the skin I love to touch
Got the arms to hold me tight
Got the sweet lips to kiss me goodnight
From this moment on
You and I babe
We'll be ridin' high babe
Every care is gone
From this moment,
From this moment,
This very moment,
This moment on.
He would spend it on the ponies
He would spend it on the girls
Buy his mother gin and roses
For her poor old henna'd curls
And when his wife said "Hey now!
What did you get for me?"
He socked her in the choppers
Such a sweet, sweet guy was he!
And her tears flowed like wine
Yes, her tears flowed like wine
She's a real sad tomato
She's a busted Valentine
Knows her mama done told her
That her man is darned unkind
How he loved the old race horses
He would bet them every day
One day he caught a winner
And the cabbage wasn't hay!
He indulged in fancy spending
Ordered rings, cars and furs
But alas, alack
Like a stab in the back
She found out they were not hers!
And her tears flowed like wine
Yes, her tears flowed like wine
She's a real sad tomato
She's a busted Valentine
Knows her mama done told her
That her man is darned unkind
He got mixed up with a Maisie
He got mixed up with a Flo
So Flo shoved him in the river
He'll not get mixed up no more!
His wife then draped herself in black
That showed her figure fine
Then she cussed him out
The two-faced guy
No insurance could she find!
And her tears flowed like wine
Yes, her tears flowed like wine
She's a real sad tomato
She's a busted Valentine
Knows her mama done told her
That her man is darned unkind!
I hear music
Mighty fine music
The murmur of a morning breeze up there
The rattle of the milkman on the stair
Sure that's music
Mighty fine music
The singing of a sparrow in the sky
The perking of the coffee right near by
There's my favourite melody
You, my angel, phoning me
I hear music
Mighty fine music
And anytime I think my world is wrong
I get me out of bed and sing this song
(Musical Interlude)
