East Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect who robbed the H&P; Deli multiple times in Richmond. Incident #1: On October 9, 2015, at 10:40 am, an employee, a 60 year-old male, and a witness, a 51 year-old male, were inside the the H&P; Deli located at 2400 East Allegheny Avenue when an unknown black male entered the bar. A short time later, when the suspect the employee were alone, the male pulled a handgun and pointed it a t the employee demanding money. After taking $400 he fled and was last seen south on Cedar Street. Incident #2: On October 17, 2015, at 7:36 am, an employee,a 60 year-old male, at H&P; Deli located at 2400 East Allegheny Avenue was working at the cashier when an unknown male entered the deli holding a jacket with what appeared to be a gun underneath it. The suspect approached the counter demanding money from the employee while threatening him. After the employee complied with the suspects demands giving him an unknown amount of money from the cash register he fled on foot and was last seen west on Allegheny Avenue. No injuries were reported during this incident. Suspect Description: Black male, 40 years-of-age, scruffy beard, dark complected, 5’9”, 180 lbs, wearing a black leather jacket, dark colored kit hat, blue jeans, and armed with a handgun.
