In an attempt to scare the boys, they pretend to evoke the spirit of the troubled girl but when things start going terribly wrong they begin to realize that their actions have had serious consequences. Jasmine and Jolene have a fateful connection. That night as Jasmine's behavior becomes increasingly concerning, Jasmine's boyfriend Cameron and Skye discover that the kids have gone missing. After a gruesome and deadly incident, in which a blind man falls into the shaft and a security guard is decapitated, the police start an investigation. They are however not very successful. Mark is determined to find the cause. He is joined by a female reporter, Jennifer, who is looking for a juicy story. Together they try to unravel the secrets behind the mysterious behaviour of the elevator that seems to have a life of it's own. When things get worse and death toll rises, The Government, fearing terrorists are involved, seal off the building. What at first looked like a routine job turns into a horrifying nightmare in which Mark has to face an enemy whose blood thirst is only met by it's unpredictability. Plot: Re-issued in 1964 as "Trouble At Sixteen" by Cinema Associates as part of a double-bill with "Girls Town" (now called "The Innocent and the Damned" and a rather descriptive title considering the cast), this film takes place at an exclusive military academy on Sabre Island (played by Catalina Island) attended by rich young delinquents who think money puts them above the law. Enter Steve Conway there to investigate the death of his son, whom he has been told died in an accident. The Mick is quickly in five feet of trouble (over his eyebrows) when he is met with hostility by the school's commandant, Major Redfern Kelly and the latter's sweetheart-secretary Jennifer Evans; intimidated by the cadet drill instructor, Vince Perley and the P.E. instructor Hack Marlow; attempts are made on his life by a cadet trio known as "The Three Beasts", and he is trapped in a three-against-one fight with rifles, although memory fails as to just where Rooney came up with his rifle. Just to keep him tested there is a big-speedboat vs. small-motor boat (Rooney's craft of course) chase in shark-infested waters. That comes right after he makes a startling discovery when he talks to his son's former roommate Chip Hastings.

Jennifer Evans - Scattered (Official Video)
If I had hard heavy hands instead they’d work with me and be very sure of their grip, if I had those kind of hands I might misuse them
I got some advice from a strange one who sat, another not so surprising
They said ‘you like what you like even if you can’t prove it’
Takes only time and I cross the line I marked out
When you’re not here you’re here when I close my eyes
Like a blanket I wrap you around me all the time
I’m not leaning on you just for the comfort
And I feel scattered across some ice I should have danced on

Jennifer Evans - Men’s Sexual Health in Early Modern England
Speaker: Dr Jennifer Evans, Senior Lecturer in History, University of Hertfordshire
How did men cope with sexual health issues in early modern England? How did they feel when their bodies failed them?
This talk investigates how sexual, reproductive, and genitourinary conditions were understood. It tells the story of how men responded to bouts of ill health and reveals that physicians and surgeons had to vigorously encourage men to seek help. Men’s responses suggest that healers’ entreaties were not always successful and that male patients could be obstinate, unruly and disobedient.
