The Syrian army continues approach to the territories seized by terrorists, for the last days it completely exempted the small valley Kyn in 25 kilometers from the city of Idlib, the head of department gave on Saturday information of political department of the Syrian army the general Samir Suleiman.
"The small valley Kyn in the north of the province Hama is completely freed. Here about ten settlements is located, under our impact they are left by fighters" — he told journalists.
According to him, now military conduct cleaning and mine clearing of settlements of the valley. It didn't exclude that in some villages still there can be ambushes, snipers or fighters who lagged behind the main forces.
"In some cities, in particular Al-Bakhsa, the branched underpasses dug by fighters" are found — the general declared. In them fighters also still can disappear.
He noted that the fighters resisting to the Syrian army in this area treat the "Nusra Front" which is a local wing of the international terrorist Al-Qaeda organization.
The blows of the Russian aircraft which destroyed warehouses with the weapon and bases of fighters in the valley Kyn and in the large city of Dzhisr-esh-Shugur the being stronghold of fighters, seriously undermined their fighting capacity and made possible approach of the Syrian army, the general Suleiman noted. According to its data, fighters receded from the valley on the small ridge Dzhebel of an az-zaua who is cutting off the valley from the Province of Idlib. Now the Syrian artillery conducts attack of this ridge.
The valley Kyn about 300 square kilometers, is in the north of the Syrian province Hama, near border with Turkey and in 20 kilometers from the city of Idlib. Since 2011 Idlib and the province of the same name became one of places of the heaviest fighting between the Syrian army and fighters — it is considered that Idlib has a strategic importance, being near the Syrian-Turkish border and in 40 kilometers from "the economic capital" of Syria, the city of Aleppo. Several times I passed Idlib from hand to hand, and in March, 2014 it was again taken by joint groups of the Nusra Front and "The Islamic state". Now the Syrian army with assistance of aircraft of the Russian Federation hopes again to take under control Idlib and adjacent pieces of border with Turkey. Since September 30 Russia at the request of the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad started striking dot airstrikes to objects of "The Islamic state" in Syria. During this time Aerospace forces struck two hundred blows to terrorists, having killed about 300 fighters, training camp, points of command, warehouses of ammunition and other objects. Besides, 26 cruise missiles were launched by the ships of the Caspian flotilla which successfully struck objects of IS.
The General Staff of Russian Armed Forces reported that Islamic State terrorists sustain notable losses and change tactics, dispersing forces and taking cover in settlements. According to the Russian military, the purposes get out on the basis of intelligence information of Russia, Syria, Iraq and Iran, the high-precision arms are applied. The ambassador of Syria in Russia Riyad Haddad confirmed earlier that blows are struck to terrorist armed groups, but not to opposition or the civilian population. Besides, according to him, since the beginning of the operation Russian Federation in Syria about 40% of infrastructure of IS are destroyed.
On the eighth of October the chief of the General Staff of armed forces of Syria general Ali Abdullakh Ayub declared the beginning of large-scale approach of the Syrian army. According to him, blows of the Russian aircraft undermined fighting opportunities of the IS international terrorist group and other terrorist formations, as allowed Syrians to take the offensive for the purpose of destruction of terrorist groups and release of areas and settlements which suffered from terror and crimes. In days 8 settlements in the different regions of Syria were freed.

Jebel Toubkal is the highest peak in Morocco and the highest peak in all of Northern Africa, at 4,167m. We hiked independently from the small town of Imlil to the summit of Jebel Toubkal over two days in the High Atlas Mountains in challenging conditions.
On our first day hiking Jebel Toubkal, we had pretty good weather with just a few showers. The path was very straightforward to follow and we made it to the Jebel Toubkal Refuge in the late afternoon without issue. Walking through the valleys, passing waterfalls, taking in the stunning views, we shared the path with a few other hikers and mules carrying packs of supplies to the Jebel Toubka

A fertile plain beneath the mountains of Djebel Zerhoun surrounds Volubilis, the most important ancient Roman excavation site in Morocco. The former administration seat of the Roman African province of Mauretania Tingitana contained all the necessary attributes of a highly developed city. The ruins date back to the first and third centuries A.D., a golden time in this region. The production of oil and grain made the city prosper and during its golden years the city covered an area of around 40 hectares. The Roman settlement remained free from invasion for many years and was therefore able t

At just a few hours from the main European cities, Morocco has everything to overwhelm you with the amazing colors, smells and sounds of Islamic Africa. Imagine bustling souqs and spice markets, stunning mosques, white-washed sea side towns and medieval city centres. With panoramic views varying from snow-covered peaks in the High Atlas to the endless sand dunes of the Sahara, no-one ever has to be bored in this beautiful country.
Movie-famous Casablanca might be the most famous of Moroccan cities and is home to the huge Hassan II mosque, the second largest mosque in the world with only the Grand Mosque of Mecca surpassing it. Many travellers quickly leave this vibrant and modernist metropolis on a search for a more traditional Moroccan experience, but admiring the impressive colonial architecture, Hispano-Moorish and art-deco outlook of the city centre is actually time well spent. Marrakesh, known as the "Red City" and probably the most prominent former imperial capital, will leave you with memories to cherish for life. Spend your days wandering through the lively souqs, admiring the old gates and defensive walls, see the Saadian Tombs, the remnants of the El Badi Palace and visit the Koutoubia Mosque with its 12th century minaret. However, when evening falls make sure to head back to Jamaa el-Fnaa, the largest square in Africa, as it fills up with steam-producing food stalls. Indulge in the bustling activity there, listen to Arabic story tellers, watch magicians and Chleuh dancers. Fez, once Morocco's capital, is another gorgeous imperial city. Get lost in its lovely labyrinth of narrow Medieval streets, enjoy its huge medina, see the beautiful city gates, the ancient University of Al-Karaouine and the Bou Inania Madrasa. Also, make sure to visit a traditional leather tanning factory. The city of Meknes is often called the "Versailles of Morocco" for its beauty. Its lovely Spanish-Moorish style centre is surrounded by tall city walls with impressive gates and you'll be able to see the 17th century blend of European and Islamic cultures even today.
For a more laid-back experience of city life, catch a sea breeze at Asilah or lovely Essaouira. The blue-washed town of Chefchaouen is an old time travellers' favourite and a great starting point to explore the impressive High Atlas Mountains. Climb Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North-Africa, passing lovely adobe villages and exploring the gorgeous Ourika and Amizmiz valleys on the way. The stunning panoramic view from the top will make it worth every bit of your effort to get there. Other praised hiking routes lead through the beautiful Ameln Valley in the Anti-Atlas and the wooded Rif Mountains in the very north.
Hop on a camel back for a trip through the golden Sahara sand dunes at Erg Chebbi, near Merzouga. Spend the night in a desert tent, under the incredibly starred sky. The Sahara is also accessible near the town of Zagora; it's easier to get to from Marrakech but doesn't have the imposing dunes of Erg Chebbi. Somewhat less easy to reach but therefor also less crowded are the dunes of Erg Chigaga near M'hamid. On your way to the desert, make sure not to miss the stunning Todra gorge near Tinghir. The ancient fortified city of Aït-Benhaddou is another must-see sight. Although rainstorms damage the mud-brick kasbahs time and again, this mostly abandoned village remains an impressive sight and has been the decor for a range of movies, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

There are two types of Hammam (steam baths) across Morocco.
The first is the tourist hammam, where you can go and be pampered and scrubbed by an experienced staff member. As these are promoted only to tourists they are the more expensive option with pricing usually around DH 150 for a hammam. They can not be technically referred to as a proper hammam, but they are nonetheless enjoyable, especially for the timid. Your hotel can recommend a good one.
The second option is to visit a "popular" Hammam. Popular hammams are the places where the locals go. Ask the staff at your hotel where they would go.

Women are rarely to be seen in Yemen’s marketplaces and, when they are, they are hidden from male glances by a protective veil. Islam still plays an important role in the daily cultural life of the people, including the traditional market places that are almost exclusively a male domain. The Republic Of Yemen covers a large part of the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula and contains several fascinating historical sites. East of Sanaa on the ancient Frankincense route, is the town of Marib that was once the residence of the legendary Queen Of Saba and in the extreme north is the town of Sadah, a region known for its powerful tribes. In the centre of the Djebel Harraz is the picturesque mountain village of Manakhah. Due to its location it was once a strategic point on the ancient trading route between the sea and the highlands. The breathtaking architecture of its buildings still testifies to the former prosperity of a village that today is well known for its popular market. Al Hudaydah was once the most important Turkish harbour on the Red Sea. The city was a commercial rival of the British occupied city of Aden to the south which, during colonial times, was of great importance in securing a sea route to India. In addition to the recent modernisation of the harbour the fishing industry still plays an important role and the fertile coastal waters of the Red Sea still ensure a good catch. To the south of Al Hudaydah is the legendary old harbour of Al Mokha, the former centre of the country’s coffee trade from which the world renowned Mocha coffee derived its name. Despite their present poverty the people here are a proud race and the ancient name of the Yemen, Arabia Felix, or “Arabia The Content”, is still a thing of the present.

Walking through the valleys, passing waterfalls, taking in the stunning views, we shared the path with a few other hikers and mules carrying packs of supplies to the Jebel Toubkal Refuge where we would spend the night.
The weather in the High Atlas Mountains, and in particular on Jebel Toubkal itself, is very changeable and during the night the windows of the refuge were rattling violently due to the heavy wind and rain outside.
We had an early start the next morning and the weather hadn't eased off but we pushed on regardless. As we began our ascent, groups with guides were turning back but we decided to keep going. We had come this far and we were determined to reach the summit.
The conditions while hiking Jebel Toubkal were extreme. We had snow, hail, rain and very, very high winds. The only groups we heard of reaching the top at that point that day were two military groups from the UK, training in the High Atlas mountains.
Eventually, after braving the elements, we reached the summit of Jebel Toubkal and the highest point in North Africa. There were no views because of the brutal conditions but we were ecstatic to have made it! On the way down the rain stopped, the weather cleared and we had blue skies all the way back to Imlil looking back at the now clear summit of Jebel Toubkal.
It was a tough but incredibly rewarding climb and such a great personal achievement to hike North Africa's highest peak together and make it all the way to the summit despite the tough conditions. An amazing couple of days that will remain in our memories for a long time to come.

Travel video about destination Volubilis in Morocco.
The Roman settlement remained free from invasion for many years and was therefore able to develop without interruption from hostile forces. as Volubilis became the most important Roman trading centre and governmental seat in Morocco, an area devoted entirely to villas was developed to the North East of the Decumanus Maximus Road. The high standard of living enjoyed in those times is demonstrated by the richly detailed architecture of this area. An allegorical picture of the four seasons is a frequently recurring motif in the floor mosaics of the splendid villas that are located along the Decumanus Maximus Road. Another fine residence, the House Of Hercules, depicts the legendary deeds of this hero of antiquity. Even today, almost seventeen hundred years after the first impressive mosaics were laid within the villas, their colours are amazingly fresh and vibrant.

Morocco is a North African country that has a coastline on both the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It has borders with Western Sahara to the south, Algeria to the east and the Spanish North African territories of Ceuta and Melilla on the Mediterranean coast in the north. It is just across the Strait of Gibraltar from Gibraltar.

The Republic Of Yemen: there is almost no other country on Earth that possesses as many secrets and ancient legends as the Arabia Felix and the Bab Al Yemen, the gateway to the Yemen, is the entrance to the historic district of Sanaa, the Yemen’s capital city that it is believed to date back to the third century A.D.

We stayed one night before and one night afterwards at Dar Atlas Guesthouse (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g488109-d5035648-Reviews-Dar_Atlas-Imlil_Marrakech_Tensift_El_Haouz_Region.html) and couldn't recommend it more. Jamal is a local guide so he can answer any questions you have. He's also a great guy and he and his family took great care of us- really genuine, nice welcoming people

Travel video about destination Volubilis in Morocco.
