Tanner Gray is shocked to learn after the death of his ex-wife Andrea that he has a 25 year-old daughter, Cyd. He and his wife had met on a cruise over 25 years ago where they both worked as dance instructors. They fell in love and married but while Andrea wanted to settle down in her small hometown and take over her parents dance studio Tanner came from a small town and wanted to travel before settling down. He went off on his own but when he was finally ready to come home, Andrea told him not to bother and they hadn't spoken since. Now, Cyd is under pressure to sell the studio to a land developer but Andrea always left Tanner's name on the deed so he would have to agree to any sale. He only has Cyd's best interests at heart but as he gets to know her, he doesn't think selling is the right thing to do.

Centers on Missy's adopted daughter Belinda Tyler as she follows her dream. Belinda nurses her back to health and helps her regain the use of her arm again. Belinda also meets the nephew of their deceased neighbor. Drew comes to town to get his uncle's farm in shape to sell. After that he intends on returning to New York to join his father's law practice. He has no desire to stay in this small, unsophisticated town. But after meeting Belinda he has second thoughts. Belinda also feels something for Drew, but she is conflicted because she wants to be a doctor. Even though the norm of the time is for a woman to get married and have children, Belinda wants more. She has a calling and a great mind for medicine.

September 26th, 2015 Dearest Prime Minister Harper, As that American model flashes her eyelashes at you, I see you trying to cut costs by closing prisons, double-bunking inmates and restricting their wages, especially before this election. But did you know this increases violence and contagious diseases to both prisoners and guards – boosting long-run costs? Offenders need to learn how to become good citizens to avoid returning to prison.[1] And those new prisons you’re planning to build after the election, modelled on the US system? They actually perpetuate the old slavery system. Corporate stockholders have encouraged this cheap labour force at home, so they don’t have to set up factories in third world countries. So they’re lobbying for longer sentences for smaller offences. Like the American fellow who stole one car and three bikes and was sent to one of the 20 new federal prisons for three, 25-year prison terms.[2] In the US federal penitentiaries, prisoners earn up to $1.25/hour.[3] But private prisons pay inmates only 17 to 50 cents/ hour. They’ve provided a new economic boom. Prisoners process McDonald’s and Wendy’s beef patties. Walmart pays prisoners to clean barcodes off products for re-selling, while Starbucks pays them to package holiday coffees. Prisoners work for Sprint and Verizon telecommunication call centres, while JC Penney and Kmart pay prisoners to sew jeans.[4] Thank you for helping our Canadian prisoners’ innocent families by paying our misguided souls at least five times as much for their labour.[5] In your “tough on crime agenda”[6], please don’t be wooed by the surface smile of that US lover. Even though she forms only 5% of the world’s population, she sequesters 25% of the world’s prison population behind her bars – and keeps them incarcerated longer.[7] Let’s be a model for turning prisoners around, instead of continuing the bullying – and building their cycle of abuse. Our best American friends are looking to other world models. Like Iceland, where violent crime is practically non-existent.[8] Or like Bhutan, which has the highest Gross National Happiness index in the world.[9] Just as you’d like to learn and move forward, to be forgiven for whatever mistakes you may have made, please consider how best to re-educate prisoners, for our long-term economic and social gain. The “prime minister’s questions” session will give many Britons their first extended look at the veteran left-winger who became the Labour Party leader Saturday after a months-long campaign Jeremy Corbyn will sing the national anthem at the next official engagement he attends, a Labour spokesman has said. The clarification came after Mr Corbyn said he would “show my respect in the proper way” at future events when grilled on his position. It came after five of Mr Corbyn’s own shadow cabinet ministers attacked his refusal to sing the national anthem at a memorial service on Tuesday. The new Labour leader was seen remaining silent at the Battle of Britain memorial service in St Paul’s Cathedral as other leading politicians sung God Save The Queen. A Labour spokesman on Tuesday night said Mr Corbyn had maintained a “respectful silence” for those that had died at the battle. But there was outcry from former generals, veterans and Labour MPs who thought it was the wrong decision. Speaking on Wednesday before his first Prime Minister’s Questions, Mr Corbyn said: “I was at the Battle of Britain memorial yesterday. I was there out of respect for that amazing moment in British history. “I was also thinking about my family, my mum and dad who were there at that time in London and who worked as air raid wardens during the Blitz. I was thinking about them. It was a respectful ceremony, and I stood in respect throughout it. "I am going to be at many events and I will take part fully in those events. I don't see a problem about this. I was there and I will show my respect in the proper way at all future events. The proper way is to take a full part in it and I will take a full part." A Labour spokesman later confirmed that Mr Corbyn’s comments meant that he would sing the national anthem at future events Jeremy Corbyn posed the questions of ordinary people to David Cameron in today's Prime Minister's Questions. One about the housing crisis came from a woman called Marie, who LBC have revealed is one of their listeners who regularly phones in from her home in Putney. They spoke to her and this is what she said about having her question asked by Mr Corbyn: She was delighted that Mr Corbyn had left the Tories looking like "unhappy bunnies" by asking ordinary people's questions. Marie said that the Tories revelled in “short, sort of little sarcastic comments, quips and shouting”, adding: “I think he’ll pull another rabbit out of the hat and that’s the point - to keep them guessing. “What made me laugh was what [David Cameron] said about the economy and keeping wages down in order to keep jobs but they’ve all just had a £10,000 raise, haven’t they? All those people that look very self-satisfied sitting there. What does that do to the economy? What do ordinary people think about that? “All I’ll say to people is if you don’t care about politics start thinking about what it actually means for you. Start listening to this and thinking they’re self-satisfied people sit there every week and make these decisions about your lives.” New Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn lived up to his campaign pledge of "a new kind of politics" by crowd-sourcing his first appearance at Prime Minister's Questions in the House of Commons. Appearing opposite David Cameron for the first time at the despatch box, the Islington North MP told the Prime Minister that many voters had told him PMQs - and Parliament more generally - was "out of touch and too theatrical". He said an appeal to the public to tell Labour they would like to ask the PM had produced 40,000 responses, from which he had selected six to fill the questions traditionally given to the leader of the opposition during the 30-minute session.

Mac Minister feels like the legal system has been against him from day one and says "they f**ked up in the worst kind of way" with his case. While speaking to VladTV he states that they needed either DNA evidence, a weapon, or an eyewitness testimony to rightly convict him, to which he says "in my case they don't have none of the three." Instead, Minister says his own attorney turned on and testified against him, as well as an FBI informant by the name of Antoine whom he'd never met that "goes around the country testifying for the feds." After hearing his story, Mac hopes rappers will stop glamorizing prison life, and even has a message for the kids who look up to them: "Prison is for suckers...Just know one thing for sure: when you come to the penitentiary, they gon' strip you naked and look in your booty. If you want a motherf***er looking in your booty, [then] bring your 'ol tough a*s on to the penitentiary." Mac, who still refuses to this day to get stripped and checked, has been under 24-hour lockdown several times for what he calls "not compromising my integrity." Minister even shared stories of seeing several spirits at times of inmates who committed suicide or were killed by their corrections officers. Mac, who at times "would see some sh*t walk by" and then get up to check it out only to not find anyone around, consulted with another inmate who told him "there's some spirits around this b*tch." Today, he won't even let an officer handcuff him if he feels bad vibes, unwilling to end up another slain inmate. The rest of the interview includes Mac Minister speaking about his "no snitching" policy, as well as actor Mike Epps giving him money while in prison. "The comedian is the realest motherf***er," he says with a more positive tone. Minister is currently trying to raise $50,000 for his appeal, and gave out his contact information if anyone wishes to help him "win and get home" or simply wants to include him on their track. Stating that he has various "intros and outros" available, he ends by saying "help me help you. Let me talk this sh*t so we could spread this game." Listen above for more.
