Beyond is a 2000 album by jazz saxophonist Joshua Redman released through Warner Bros. Records.
On Beyond, Joshua Redman unveils ten originals that are both compelling in their complexity (including odd time signatures and polymetric structures) and alluring in their unadorned beauty (from catchy grooves to indelible melodies). His quartet delivers upbeat tunes that burst with dynamics, gently swinging numbers with reflective interludes, and lyrical gems teeming with passion.
"Just as always, the music here is performed with honest expression," Redman notes. "I'm not deliberately trying to write material that's difficult to play.... There's a balance between complexity and simplicity, between formal sophistication and emotional directness."
Beyond is the eighth studio album by the alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr. It was their first LP in a decade after 1997's Hand It Over, and the first album by the original lineup since 1988's Bug. The band planned a full world tour in 2007 to support the album. The band played "Almost Ready" on the Late Show with David Letterman to support their album.
It debuted at #69 on the Billboard 200.
"Almost Ready" was used on the Major League Baseball 2K8 and Skate 3 soundtracks, and "Pick Me Up" is downloadable content for the Rock Band series.
The songs "Almost Ready" and "Crumble" were used in Alien Workshop's skateboarding film Mind Field.
A music video was made for "Been There All the Time", featuring Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore and his daughter, Coco. It was directed by Matt Dillon.
All songs written by J Mascis except as noted.

Beyond is a Canadian paranormal documentary television series produced by Renegade Motion Pictures. It began airing in January 2005 and is currently in its second run. Robin Poitras was the hostess in seasons one and two, and Alannah Myles took on the role for seasons three and four.
The show used to air on Space Saturdays at 5 p.m. EST and again on Sundays 8 a.m. EST. Episodes are available on Hulu, Amazon Video, YouTube on Demand, and various other digital platforms across the internet.
Steven Rumbelow has written and directed the series as a continuation of a 90 minute documentary called Ghosts. He brings an academic perspective on the paranormal, from life after death to the power of thought.
The show uses interviews from well respected academics such as physicists to practitioners such as shamans. There are eye witness accounts as well for things like orbs, ghosts, evps, alternative healing, etc.
Every season of Beyond has a main theme and the last episode of each season is a conclusions episode where they summarize the season and have a round table discussion, which includes the experts and practitioners from the season.

Kiss is the ninth studio album of German band Bad Boys Blue. It was released on September 27, 1993 by Coconut Records. One single was also released. John McInerney performed "Kiss You All Over, Baby" which before had been sung by Trevor Taylor. The song "Save Your Love" from the previous album was performed here as "Aguarda Tu Amorin" in Spanish. The song "Kisses And Tears" is taken from the second album.
This record was the last with Trevor Bannister. In 1993, Bad Boys Blue toured around Africa with singer Owen Standing who never was an official band member.
CKIS-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 92.5 FM in Toronto, Ontario. The station broadcasts a Top 40 (CHR) format branded as KiSS 92.5. The station is one of two CHR-pop stations licensed to the city of Toronto (the other being CKFM) as well as the first CHR-pop station owned by Rogers since CHTT-FM in Victoria shifted from top 40 to hot AC in July 2003.
CKIS's studios are located at the Rogers Building at Bloor and Jarvis in the northeastern corner of downtown Toronto, while its transmitter is located atop First Canadian Place.
On August 8, 1990, Rawlco Communications was awarded a licence from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) for a new FM radio station. The format chosen to air on the frequency was country music that would target an audience ranging from 25–54 years of age. Rawlco planned on changing frequencies for the station to 99.1 FM, which was formerly the home of CKO-FM-1, but cancelled the plan after the CRTC denied this, and gave 99.1 to CBLA. On January 26, 1993 at 1 PM, singer Anne Murray pressed the button to launch the station, with the CISS-FM call letters and "92.5 CISS-FM" (pronounced "Kiss FM") branding. The station's licensing by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission had been controversial, because the CRTC had passed over an application by Milestone Radio for an urban music station, which would have been a new format in the Toronto market, in favour of Rawlco's application. Milestone's second attempt at an urban station was also passed over in favour of CBLA; the company finally won a licence on its third attempt, and launched CFXJ-FM in 2001. The station's transmitter was located atop First Canadian Place.
