Ein kleines Video über Torsten Frings, dem Team-Captain von Werder Bremen, der aufgrund seiner überragenden Rückrunde maßgeblichen Anteil an der großartigen und erfolgreichen Aufholjagd von Werder Bremen hatte.
Dieses Video zeigt all die Stärken, die Torsten Frings auszeichnet, ein Captain, der immer 110% gibt, Verantwortung übernimmt und in den entscheidenen Situationen die Nerven behält. So verwandelte er in 2009/2010 wettbewerbsübergreifend 8 von 8 Elfmeter und schoss in der Bundesliga mit 6 Toren als defensiver Mittelfeldspieler mehr Tore, als die Stürmer Lukas Podolski und Miroslav Klose zusammen.
Zum Thema Nationalmannschaft und Frings möchte ich nochmal an das Halbfinale 2006 gegen Italien erinnern und fragen: Welcher Spieler wurde dort von den Deutschen am meissten vermisst? Soviel zum Thema: "....haben in der Vergangenheit viel für die Nationalmannschaft geleistet...."
Laut Löw passe Frings auch nicht mehr ins Konzept der offensiven, spielstarken Nationalelf, er sei zu alt und langsam.... dass Frings dabei seit Jahren in der offensiv- und spielstärksten Bundesligamannschaft spielt, scheint Löw wohl "übersehen" zu haben.
Löw seine Erfolge haben ihm Recht gegeben, trotzdem hat er sich in dieser Personalie geradezu lächerlich verhalten, daher darf er am Ende des Videos zurecht baden gehen. :)

Torsten Frings (born 22 November 1976 in Würselen) is a German football midfielder who plays for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer and is known for his explosive, powerful shot.
His professional career began at third division Alemannia Aachen before a move to Werder Bremen in 1996–97, helping the Weserstadion outfit to a German Cup final defeat of Bayern Munich in 1999 and tallying more than 160 Bundesliga appearances and 15 goals over six seasons.
In 2002, a number of Europe's leading clubs were on Frings's trail prior to the World Cup but he opted for a four-year deal with Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of €10 million, penning the contract two games into the competition. A regular in his first term at the Westfalenstadion, Frings also played 12 times in the UEFA Champions League, scoring home and away against Lokomotiv Moscow.
Frings's 2003–04 season only began on 30 January when he played against Schalke 04, his first game since damaging his knee against VfL Bochum in July. He took over from Tomáš Rosický in the playmaking role and scored four times in 16 games before signing a three-year contract with Dortmund's rivals, Bayern Munich.

Ein kleines Video über Torsten Frings, dem Team-Captain von Werder Bremen, der aufgrund seiner überragenden Rückrunde maßgeblichen Anteil an der großartigen und erfolgreichen Aufholjagd von Werder Bremen hatte.
Dieses Video zeigt all die Stärken, die Torsten Frings auszeichnet, ein Captain, der immer 110% gibt, Verantwortung übernimmt und in den entscheidenen Situationen die Nerven behält. So verwandelte er in 2009/2010 wettbewerbsübergreifend 8 von 8 Elfmeter und schoss in der Bundesliga mit 6 Toren als defensiver Mittelfeldspieler mehr Tore, als die Stürmer Lukas Podolski und Miroslav Klose zusammen.
Zum Thema Nationalmannschaft und Frings möchte ich nochmal an das Halbfinale 2006 gegen Italien erinnern und fragen: Welcher Spieler wurde dort von den Deutschen am meissten vermisst? Soviel zum Thema: "....haben in der Vergangenheit viel für die Nationalmannschaft geleistet...."
Laut Löw passe Frings auch nicht mehr ins Konzept der offensiven, spielstarken Nationalelf, er sei zu alt und langsam.... dass Frings dabei seit Jahren in der offensiv- und spielstärksten Bundesligamannschaft spielt, scheint Löw wohl "übersehen" zu haben.
Löw seine Erfolge haben ihm Recht gegeben, trotzdem hat er sich in dieser Personalie geradezu lächerlich verhalten, daher darf er am Ende des Videos zurecht baden gehen. :)
