Handlung:
Black Bill ist ein geheimnisvoller Rächer, der singend durch die Prärie reitet und für die Rechte von Unschuldigen kämpft. Niemand ahnt, dass es sich dabei um Freddy handelt, dessen Eltern einst von Desperados getötet wurden. Freddy alias Black Bill macht sich nach vielen Jahren auf den Weg zur Ranch des alten Ted Daniels, auf der er nach dem Tod seiner Eltern aufgewachsen ist. Aber Ted, der von einer sagenhaften Goldader weiss, wurde von Banditen verschleppt. Black Bill begibt sich in die berüchtigte Goldgräberstadt Moon Valley, um die skrupellosen Verbrecher zur Strecke zu bringen. Freddy ahnt nicht, dass auch Teds Tochter Anita, die er zuletzt im Kindesalter sah, dorthin geritten ist.
Als Anita von der Schwester des Sheriffs erfährt, dass dieser stets betrunken ist, wird sie kurzerhand Hilfssheriff von Moon Valley und nennt sich Betty Wilson. Unterdessen macht Freddy, der sich wiederum als John Burns ausgibt, Bekanntschaft mit einem gewissen Steve Perkins, der wie ein Despot über die Stadt herrscht. Dessen Verlobte Olivia weiss erst seit kurzem, dass Perkins auch Chef der berüchtigten Moon-Valley-Bande ist, die Ted Daniels im Keller des Saloons festgesetzt hat. Die Ganoven ahnen zunächst nicht, dass sich der Plan zur Goldader in Daniels’ Taschenuhr befindet, die ihm ein Bandenmitglied abgenommen hat.
Durch mehrere Zufälle gelangt Anita in den Besitz der Taschenuhr und verdächtigt den vermeintlichen John Burns, am Überfall auf die Ranch beteiligt gewesen zu sein. Olivia kommt dahinter, dass es sich bei Burns um Black Bill handelt und verrät diesem, dass Perkins der Kopf der Verbrecherbande ist. Am nächsten Tag lässt Freddy das Gerücht verbreiten, dass er mit Olivia die Stadt verlassen will. Er stellt Perkins eine Falle und es kommt zu einer dramatischen Verfolgungsjagd. Während einer Schiesserei taucht unerwartet Anita auf. Diese hält Freddy noch immer für den vermeintlichen Verbrecher John Burns und lässt ihn verhaften. Erst im Gefängnis von Moon Valley kommen Anita und Freddy hinter ihre wahre Identität. Am Ende gelingt es Freddy alias Black Bill, Ted zu befreien und Steve Perkins endgültig zur Strecke zu bringen.

Partizanski komesar Vjeko (Boris Buzančić) poslan je na dužnost u jedno srpsko selo u nizinskoj Hrvatskoj. Zadatak mu je dovesti u red seosku partizansku četu na čelu sa zapovjednikom Garom (Pavle Vuisić), koja svoje snage uporno troši na zavadu sa susjednim selom koje drže ustaše. Ne bi li primirio napetosti, Vjeko pokušava u četu uključiti Mehu Sulića (Ivica Vidović), zarobljenika iz susjednog sela. U njegovom ga planu podržava jedino partizan Kubura (Boris Dvornik).

Dej filmu sa odohráva počas 2. svetovej vojny v horách Juhoslávie (Bosna a Hercegovina) v januári 1943, kedy sa nemecké velenie rozhodlo zničiť odpor juhoslovanskej partizánskej armády, ktorej velil maršal a neskorší komunistický prezident Juhoslávie Josip Broz Tito. Nemci spolu s Talianmi a so srbskými žandármi zahájili operáciu Weiss, ktorá sa začala 20. januára 1943. Partizáni museli predovšetkým s nemeckou armádou vybojovať boje pri meste Bihać a na rieke Neretva, kde Nemcov, Talianov a srbských žandárov porazili.

Vohu Manah
Vohu Manah is the Avestan language term for a Zoroastrian concept, generally translated as "Good Purpose" or "Good Mind" (cognate with Sanskrit vasu manas), referring to the good moral state of mind that enables an individual to accomplish his duties. Its Middle Persian equivalent, as attested in the Pahlavi script texts of Zoroastrian tradition, is Wahman, which is a borrowing of the Avestan language expression and has the same meaning, and which continues in New Persian as Bahman and variants. Manah is cognate with the Sanskrit word Manas suggesting some commonality between the ideas of the Gathas and those of the rig veda.
In the Gathas, the oldest texts of the Avesta and considered to be composed by Zoroaster himself, the term 'Vohu Manah' is not unambiguously used as a proper name and frequently occurs without the "Good" (Vohu-) prefix.
In the post-Gathic texts that expound the principles of Zoroastrian cosmogony, Vohu Manah is an Amesha Spenta, one of six "divine sparks" of Ahura Mazda that each represent one facet of creation. In the case of Vohu Manah, all animal creation with a particular stress on cattle. Vohu Manah is of neuter gender in Avestan grammar but in Zoroastrian tradition is considered masculine.

Boris Dvornik
Boris Dvornik (16 April 1939 – 24 March 2008) was a Croatian actor.
Born in Split to the family of a carpenter, Boris Dvornik discovered acting talent at an early age, while performing in children's plays. After studying to become an electrician, he began to pursue a full-time acting career. He studied at the National Acting School in Novi Sad, Serbia and later enrolled at the Drama Arts Academy of the University of Zagreb.
As a freshman, he was cast in the starring role of the 1960 Holocaust drama The Ninth Circle. A year later, he showed his versatility by appearing in the popular comedy Martin in the Clouds. This established Boris Dvornik as a big star of former Yugoslav cinema, comparable to Ljubiša Samardžić, Milena Dravić and Velimir "Bata" Živojinović (with whom he later developed a close friendship).
The zenith of Dvornik's popularity came in the 1970s with the role of Roko Prč in the cult series Naše malo misto. In the 1980s, after receiving acclaim as of one of the most renowned and prolific actors of the former Yugoslavia, Boris Dvornik mostly worked with the Croatian National Theatre in his native city of Split.

Dej filmu sa odohráva počas 2. svetovej vojny v horách Juhoslávie (Bosna a Hercegovina) v januári 1943, kedy sa nemecké velenie rozhodlo zničiť odpor juhoslovanskej partizánskej armády, ktorej velil maršal a neskorší komunistický prezident Juhoslávie Josip Broz Tito. Nemci spolu s Talianmi a so srbskými žandármi zahájili operáciu Weiss, ktorá sa začala 20. januára 1943. Partizáni museli predovšetkým s nemeckou armádou vybojovať boje pri meste Bihać a na rieke Neretva, kde Nemcov, Talianov a srbských žandárov porazili. Handlung:
Black Bill ist ein geheimnisvoller Rächer, der singend durch die Prärie reitet und für die Rechte von Unschuldigen kämpft. Niemand ahnt, dass es sich dabei um Freddy handelt, dessen Eltern einst von Desperados getötet wurden. Freddy alias Black Bill macht sich nach vielen Jahren auf den Weg zur Ranch des alten Ted Daniels, auf der er nach dem Tod seiner Eltern aufgewachsen ist. Aber Ted, der von einer sagenhaften Goldader weiss, wurde von Banditen verschleppt. Black Bill begibt sich in die berüchtigte Goldgräberstadt Moon Valley, um die skrupellosen Verbrecher zur Strecke zu bringen. Freddy ahnt nicht, dass auch Teds Tochter Anita, die er zuletzt im Kindesalter sah, dorthin geritten ist.
Als Anita von der Schwester des Sheriffs erfährt, dass dieser stets betrunken ist, wird sie kurzerhand Hilfssheriff von Moon Valley und nennt sich Betty Wilson. Unterdessen macht Freddy, der sich wiederum als John Burns ausgibt, Bekanntschaft mit einem gewissen Steve Perkins, der wie ein Despot über die Stadt herrscht. Dessen Verlobte Olivia weiss erst seit kurzem, dass Perkins auch Chef der berüchtigten Moon-Valley-Bande ist, die Ted Daniels im Keller des Saloons festgesetzt hat. Die Ganoven ahnen zunächst nicht, dass sich der Plan zur Goldader in Daniels’ Taschenuhr befindet, die ihm ein Bandenmitglied abgenommen hat.
Durch mehrere Zufälle gelangt Anita in den Besitz der Taschenuhr und verdächtigt den vermeintlichen John Burns, am Überfall auf die Ranch beteiligt gewesen zu sein. Olivia kommt dahinter, dass es sich bei Burns um Black Bill handelt und verrät diesem, dass Perkins der Kopf der Verbrecherbande ist. Am nächsten Tag lässt Freddy das Gerücht verbreiten, dass er mit Olivia die Stadt verlassen will. Er stellt Perkins eine Falle und es kommt zu einer dramatischen Verfolgungsjagd. Während einer Schiesserei taucht unerwartet Anita auf. Diese hält Freddy noch immer für den vermeintlichen Verbrecher John Burns und lässt ihn verhaften. Erst im Gefängnis von Moon Valley kommen Anita und Freddy hinter ihre wahre Identität. Am Ende gelingt es Freddy alias Black Bill, Ted zu befreien und Steve Perkins endgültig zur Strecke zu bringen.

Handlung:
Black Bill ist ein geheimnisvoller Rächer, der singend durch die Prärie reitet und für die Rechte von Unschuldigen kämpft. Niemand ahnt, dass es sich dabei um Freddy handelt, dessen Eltern einst von Desperados getötet wurden. Freddy alias Black Bill macht sich nach vielen Jahren auf den Weg zur Ranch des alten Ted Daniels, auf der er nach dem Tod seiner Eltern aufgewachsen ist. Aber Ted, der von einer sagenhaften Goldader weiss, wurde von Banditen verschleppt. Black Bill begibt sich in die berüchtigte Goldgräberstadt Moon Valley, um die skrupellosen Verbrecher zur Strecke zu bringen. Freddy ahnt nicht, dass auch Teds Tochter Anita, die er zuletzt im Kindesalter sah, dorthin geritten ist.
Als Anita von der Schwester des Sheriffs erfährt, dass dieser stets betrunken ist, wird sie kurzerhand Hilfssheriff von Moon Valley und nennt sich Betty Wilson. Unterdessen macht Freddy, der sich wiederum als John Burns ausgibt, Bekanntschaft mit einem gewissen Steve Perkins, der wie ein Despot über die Stadt herrscht. Dessen Verlobte Olivia weiss erst seit kurzem, dass Perkins auch Chef der berüchtigten Moon-Valley-Bande ist, die Ted Daniels im Keller des Saloons festgesetzt hat. Die Ganoven ahnen zunächst nicht, dass sich der Plan zur Goldader in Daniels’ Taschenuhr befindet, die ihm ein Bandenmitglied abgenommen hat.
Durch mehrere Zufälle gelangt Anita in den Besitz der Taschenuhr und verdächtigt den vermeintlichen John Burns, am Überfall auf die Ranch beteiligt gewesen zu sein. Olivia kommt dahinter, dass es sich bei Burns um Black Bill handelt und verrät diesem, dass Perkins der Kopf der Verbrecherbande ist. Am nächsten Tag lässt Freddy das Gerücht verbreiten, dass er mit Olivia die Stadt verlassen will. Er stellt Perkins eine Falle und es kommt zu einer dramatischen Verfolgungsjagd. Während einer Schiesserei taucht unerwartet Anita auf. Diese hält Freddy noch immer für den vermeintlichen Verbrecher John Burns und lässt ihn verhaften. Erst im Gefängnis von Moon Valley kommen Anita und Freddy hinter ihre wahre Identität. Am Ende gelingt es Freddy alias Black Bill, Ted zu befreien und Steve Perkins endgültig zur Strecke zu bringen.

Partizanski komesar Vjeko (Boris Buzančić) poslan je na dužnost u jedno srpsko selo u nizinskoj Hrvatskoj. Zadatak mu je dovesti u red seosku partizansku četu na čelu sa zapovjednikom Garom (Pavle Vuisić), koja svoje snage uporno troši na zavadu sa susjednim selom koje drže ustaše. Ne bi li primirio napetosti, Vjeko pokušava u četu uključiti Mehu Sulića (Ivica Vidović), zarobljenika iz susjednog sela. U njegovom ga planu podržava jedino partizan Kubura (Boris Dvornik).

Nemci spolu s Talianmi a so srbskými žandármi zahájili operáciu Weiss, ktorá sa začala 20. januára 1943. Partizáni museli predovšetkým s nemeckou armádou vybojovať boje pri meste Bihać a na rieke Neretva, kde Nemcov, Talianov a srbských žandárov porazili.
