A Road To Paradise- Sea Cliff Bridge, New South Wales, Australia
A Road To Paradise- Sea Cliff Bridge, New South Wales, Australia
The Sea Cliff Bridge is a balanced cantilever bridge located in the northern Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The $52 million bridge links the coastal villages of Coalcliff and Clifton. Featuring two lanes of traffic, a cycleway and a walkway, the Sea Cliff Bridge boasts spectacular views and is a feature of the scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive.
The Sea Cliff Bridge replaced a section of Lawrence Hargrave Drive that was permanently closed in August 2003 due to regular rock falls. A public outcry emerged over the road closure as Lawrence Hargrave Drive is the only road directly linking Coalcliff, Stanwell Park, Otford and Helensburgh to the northern suburbs of Wollongong. The bridge was officially opened by NSW Premier Morris Iemma at a 'ribbon cutting' ceremony on 11 December 2005, and has met with great public approval and increased business for the area's tourism industry.
The Sea Cliff Bridge was named by 11 Year old schoolgirl Makenzie Russell (St. Brigids)] following a naming competition opened to local primary school students.
It is a popular location for Love padlocks.
The Sea Cliff Bridge is one of only seven off-shore parallel to coast bridges in the world.
Award-winning, off-shore and parallel-to-coast Sea Cliff Bridge forms part of the Grand Pacific Drive and is located on scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive, 60 kms south from central Sydney (or 23 kms north of Wollongong). It was opened on December 11, 2005, at a total cost of A$52 million.
The Bridge provides road, pedestrian and cycleway access it's entire length (665 metres) and spectacular views. Like the Bridge, Grand Pacific Drive never loses sight of the sea. It hugs the coast between the high battlements of the Illawarra Escarpment, looming like the great wall of a lost world, and the vastness of the Tasman Sea, an ocean view so wide you can see the curve of the Earth. Looking south, the "Coast with the Most" is scalloped with bays, and world class surf beaches all the way to Wollongong and beyond.
Why was it constructed? In August 2003, a large embankment slip indefinitely closed Lawrence Hargrave Drive between Coalcliff and Clifton, a stretch of road area notorious for rock falls and closures.
But community protest at this closure was fierce, and a permanent fix was demanded from the NSW Government. Over two years later, Sea Cliff Bridge provided that fix, and the road reopened, finally Bridging the Cliff and the Sea and Community.

Purpose built as Australia’s capital city, Canberra is a 3-hour drive from both the snowy mountains and the beautiful beaches of New South Wales. It is a city which honors Australia’s past and shapes its future.
With an expansive bush beauty, a relaxed attitude and colorful events, Canberra is far more than a political capital. Designed for a young nation that was just finding its feet, this city is home to many of the country's most important stories; stories that have come to define what it means to be Australian.
At the heart of Canberra’s creation story is Lake Burley Griffin. A long-standing rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne meant t

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. Sydney's urban area is in a coastal basin, which is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Blue Mountains to the west, the Hawkesbury River to the north and the Royal National Park to the south.
The most important places to visit in Sydney are: Sydney Opera House (among the world's most recognized landmarks. Set on the Sydney harbor, it is an unforgettable sight), Sydney Harbor Bridge (simply called "the bridge" by locals, courageous ones can even climb up the bridge), Bronte Beach (lesser known than Bondi, it is a beautiful beach, popular amongst families), Blue Mountains (an unspoiled mountain range filled with Eucalyptus trees. It is located 30 miles from Sydney, and there are plenty of hiking trails), Bondi Beach (Sydney's most famous beach, its lively promenade is as exciting as the beach) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Sydney travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

Canberra Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Purpose built as Australia’s capital city, Canberra is a 3-hour drive from both the snowy mountains and the beautiful beaches of New South Wales. It is a city which honors Australia’s past and shapes its future.
With an expansive bush beauty, a relaxed attitude and colorful events, Canberra is far more than a political capital. Designed for a young nation that was just finding its feet, this city is home to many of the country's most important stories; stories that have come to define what it means to be Australian.
At the heart of Canberra’s creation story is Lake Burley Griffin. A long-standing rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne meant that neither one could be the nation’s capital. Instead, in 1911, the government launched an international design competition seeking a master plan for a brand new city.
The victor, Chicago architect Walter Burley Griffin, won with a garden city design focused on a man-made lake which fits perfectly within the landscape.
When, the nation’s Governor General stood in a dusty paddock in 1913 and announced the name of the new capital, he told the nation that the city had, lying before it, a splendid destiny.
Over 100 years later, that destiny has been fulfilled in a city that preserves the great chapters of Australia’s history and continues to write the future pages of the nation’s story.

***Guinness World Record*** Most consecutive muscle ups
The most consecutive muscle ups performed is 25 by Jarryd Rubinstein (Australia) at Bondi Beach in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 4 January 2010. Rubinstein was witnessed by certified level 3 fitness instructor Steven Mazabow and justice of the peace Michael Major (both Australia) with roughly 60 spectators gathered around his attempt at Bondi Beach's outdoor gym.
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/most-consecutive-muscle-ups/
*OFFICIAL RULES*
1. An overhand grip (pronated grip) must be used. The hands are to be positioned slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and at the same level above which the chin must rise over the bar.
2. The bar used must be straight, level and made from inflexible material (e.g. steel).
3. The participant may initially jump to grab the bar or use a step/box.
However, the body must start in a straight hang before attempting any
muscle-ups. Any muscle-ups achieved with the assistance of momentum from a jump or step will not count toward the total.
4. Hands must grip on the bar/ring throughout the activity. The participant’s feet must not touch the floor at any point unless dismounting. The muscle-ups performed must be continuous in nature. Any prolonged pauses will mark the end of the attempt. The attempt will otherwise end when the participant dismounts.
5. It is forbidden to use lower-body movements to gain momentum in the exercise. Any muscle-up deemed to be aided in such a way will not count.
6. An experienced judge familiar with muscle-up technique (i.e. certified personal trainer, athletics club owner) must be on hand to count the participant’s attempts. If the judge disallows any muscle-ups, they must be deducted from the total, but mentioned in evidence.

Halls Heeler - Video Learning - WizScience.com
The "Halls Heeler" was a dog bred by Thomas Simpson Hall to herd cattle on the Hall family's extensive properties in north-western New South Wales in the 19th century. On "Dartbrook Station", in the Upper Hunter Valley, Hall selectively crossed the offspring of Northumberland Drover's Dogs that he had imported, with progeny of dingoes that he had tamed. By 1840 he had bred the type of dog that he needed to control cattle on the massive runs that his family owned, and until he died in 1870 few of these dogs were owned and used by anyone outside the Hall family and their workers. However the death of Thomas Hall and the break-up of the Hall estate coincided with the development of the dog show, and an interest in breeding dogs to specific criteria or standards. The Halls Heeler was further developed into two contemporary dog breeds the Australian Cattle Dog and the Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog.
George Hall and his family arrived in the New South Wales Colony in 1802. By 1825, George's son Thomas Simpson Hall and some of his older brothers had established two cattle stations in the Hunter Region, "Gundebri" near the present day Merriwa, and "Dartbrook" near Aberdeen. In the 1928 census Thomas Hall is described as 20 years old, and the manager of "Dartbrook". Using this property as a home base, Hall began a northward expansion into the Liverpool Plains, New England and Queensland, setting up properties for the family and eventually controlling over a million acres of good grazing land.

Ecco la settima e ultima parte del mio lungo viaggio australiano on the road.

Parlo anche di tanti animali australiani: il Diavolo della Tasmania, il Thy

Bronies of New South Wales - Cinema Meet #6 (31/Aug/2014)
--EDIT: Can't watch on mobile? Located in Germany? I'm looking into hosting this file elsewhere for you guys to watch - just keep watch on this space - I'll update it when I get something sorted--
Okay, let's get this out of the way. First things first, I do NOT own any of the content in this video except for the camera filming the audience and it's footage, I guess. I'm just the guy who filmed the audience and edited the video. All copyright goes to the original people who made it, blah, blah, blah, you get the idea.
Anyway, here's some additional stuff.
Bronies of New South Wales is a group on Facebook that was founded on the 24th of September, 2011. We have meetups and all that stuff that normal brony groups have. On occasion, we hire out a cinema for the day and watch ponies. As you have probably guessed by now, this is the footage of one of our cinema meetups.
This video was a pain in the butt to edit, but I personally think that it turned out all right. There were a few mishaps, unfortunately - there's a little bit of desync on the video of "Helping Twilight Win the Crown" near the end - I could have fixed that, but I didn't get a chance - it's not that bad though. If you ignore the slight delay on the visuals though, it's okay. ...Or was it just my editing software derping? *shrug* You can decide for yourself if you wish.
Also, unfortunately, at the beginning, I completely forgot that my camera was set to manual exposure, so when turning to the screen behind me, Bec's OC image was rather washed out - sorry, Bec! Because of how my camera was mounted (shoulder stabiliser), it kind of blocked off the button at the bottom of my camera that controls the manual exposure, and it took a bit to get to it - hence the shaky camera. Oops :P
Also, I'm VERY curious as to what happened to the sound in the intermission clip - somehow it got partially replaced with Friendship is Manly? Um, what? When playing it back in my editing program, it doesn't happen, and it hasn't been changed since rendering. So, yeah, not my fault - just a glitch. If I'm bored enough, I'll re-render the sound and use YouTube tools to replace it

NOTE: The usernames on these videos are just what I could see from the YouTube channel of the person who uploaded the clip that we used. Things like Fluttershy's cheering and This Day Aria (both belonging to Hasbro) are not credited as such because I did not get the clip directly from them. I assume that the uploaders of these clips gave the same warning about not owning any of the content.

Ecco la settima e ultima parte del mio lungo viaggio australiano on the road.

Rail Around New South Wales July 2015
During May, we see 6029 on a day trip to Goulburn, home of the Goulburn roundhouse, which is also known as 'Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre'. Then we see Thirlmere's first 'Day Out With Thomas' for 2015 with 3642 coming from Sydney. Then to conclude the video we see 3237 heading towards Berry for their Celtic Festival.
Enjoy!
